Martina was so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable since it was my first house sit via TrustedHousesiters platform, although I have a lot of prior pet care experience on platforms such as Rover and Facebook local pet sitting groups. She was very easy to communicate with and I provided a lot of photos and videos of her pets: Ginger, Lucy, Yogi, and Luna. The pets were absolutely delightful. I really enjoyed caring for them, and they were so loving and affectionate, even Luna, once she was comfortable with my scent. Even though this was a local house sit opportunity to practice for an international opportunity, I would happily pet sit again and will miss the love and affection with all her pets, especially Lucy. She would tap my hand with her paw, if I stopped petting her while she slept or sat on my lap, while working remotely, or while sleeping next to me. I also got to know one of Martina's neighbors, and she was such a pleasure to get to know her, and we had good conversation and pet playdates. Thanks for much for trusting me to watch your pets, and very appreciative of the opportunity, and glad you got to spend quality time with your husband and son in CA. It was so cute, how Lucy got so excited running so fast when I call her back home after she goes potty, and same with Ginger just a bit slower, since he is older. Also, Yogi enjoyed some quality time outside during daylight, lying on the stones in the sun, while get lots of belly rubs! haha Even though Yogi is a cat, he kind of thinks he is a dog. Super cute and such a fluffy, furry cat, who has a great affectionate and caring personality. Maybe weird to mention, but Martina had a great liter box and set up for the cats, which was very easy to maintain and easily remove, so no unwanted smells occur. It's really important to stay on top of liter box duty, which I have no shame, having grown up with 3 cats. haha Overall, really enjoyed my stay, and taking care of the pets: Ginger, Lucy, Yogi, and Luna.
I had such a wonderful experience housesitting for Joanna and her lovely fur family. A lovely place to stay in the Bay Area with a nice modern design vibe to boot!
Wonderful experience! We spent two weeks in Edinburgh taking care of Angel, the most easy-going cat we've ever met. Pam and George are amazing hosts, kind and communicative, they showed us around the house and the city and made sure we had everything we needed. Their house is lovely and cosy, located in a quiet area where we've found many hidden gems worth a visit. Highly recommended :)
Amy and Snoopy are the absolute best! Amy’s communication and kindness were greatly appreciated! Snoop was a bit shy in the beginning but after a few days, he warmed right up. Secretly he’s a cuddle bug haha! The home was extremely clean and very well organized. I felt incredibly safe and welcomed. I would gladly housesit again when needed!
