Pet Sitters in East Hagbourne

This was Anthony and Nicola’s first pet sit, and it was exceptional! Not only did they look after my two cats, fed the fish, fed the tadpoles, watered the plants, communicated with daily WhatsApps to keep my informed and reassured, but Anthony, of his own volition, fixed a rotting garden bench, giving it another decade of use, and changed some light bulbs for greener, more energy efficient ones. My only regret - that I couldn’t have spent more time with them both because they were such good company too.

We can't praise Sophie highly enough. She was very communicative before the sit so we already had a good idea of what to expect. When Sophie arrived she fitted right in and we felt we were leaving our property and animals in excellent hands. Her fluent French was a big advantage and she charmed our French cleaner along with everyone else she met. We were confident that she could deal with any issues that might arise but luckily on this trip nothing very serious did. Sophie fed and walked the dogs every day and looked after the cat, guinea pigs and horses. The horses were living out and Sophie applied fly spray at intervals and also fed them in the field. She was a hit with our children too! I would absolutely recommend Sophie for another house sit. She is confident, caring and capable of dealing with virtually anything, not to mention she is great fun to spend some time with. Since this sit, Sophie has been back to visit us again and sat for 2 shorter spells where she had a few issues and coped amazingly.

We feel very lucky to have been approached by Robert, a thoroughly nice guy, incredibly interesting and knowledgeable on so many subjects- it was a pleasure to have him at the dinner table. Widget has been looked after very well and was at ease and happy on our return. I know he made Robert wait for his affections, and although I am a thoroughly biased owner in knowing that Widget is worth waiting for, Robert displayed patience, kindness and a keen interest in what was best for Widget. Communication was excellent from the off and we had photos and updates whenever we wanted. The house was lovely and clean and well maintained on our return. In summary, a fantastic guy, great house guest, a wonderful, warm pet carer- and an all round good egg. A big fat 5 stars🌟

Chloe and Sam were dream sitters. Clean, tidy, reliable, communicative and clearly developed a lovely bond with Winter our cat. Would 100% recommend!!!

Elaine was a fantastic house sitter and we feel very fortunate to have had her look after our dogs, cat and home. Prior to the start of the sit Elaine went above and beyond and came to visit us for a day so that she could get to meet the dogs and vice versa which really set our minds at rest. It was also great to be able to show her around the house and go over everything. Elaine is a lovely warm and friendly lady and is really easy to communicate and get along with. She is very organised and covered every possible aspect regarding the care of the pets, our home etc which was so reassuring. Whilst we were away there was a slight problem in the house and Elaine was so helpful in getting things sorted. Elaine kept us well informed and the dogs had an absolute ball. They got lots of love, attention and fun walks - I think they were disappointed when we came home!! Lola the cat got lots of love too. The house was left beautifully clean and tidy along with a gorgeous bunch of flowers and some breakfast! We would highly recommend Elaine and really hope that she will come back and sit for us again. Thank you Elaine- you are a total star and hope we can catch up soon.

Holly was a dream sitter. She was very respectful & left the house spotless. It was the first time we’ve left our cats with someone they didn’t know & I was pleased to return to happy kitties. Holly sent regular updates, photos & videos which was reassuring. I would definitely use her again. It was a great introduction to Trust House sitters.

Arabella and her family were an absolute pleasure to have house and animal sit for me for a week in July. Communication was easy and clear. I think my dog wishes that she had gone home with them! A really lovely family and I hope that they’ll come back to house sit again in the future.

This was Helens first go at House Sitting and she took to it like a duck to water - a natural. We have found not only a house sitter but a new friend! The animals clearly enjoyed being looked after by Helen (and daughter Lauren) and were in very good shape when we returned. The house was well looked after too. We'd happily have them back whenever they could come!

We had a lovely initial meeting with Karen and Mark, which put me completely at ease with them looking after our animals and home - from the first point of contact they were reliable, and filled me with confidence of their ability to look after everyone like I do. On returning home, the house was absolutely immaculate the animals were so happy having clearly had an amazing time, and the garden had been watered really well! Karen and Mark kept us posted daily of the goings ons, and left concise notes for us when we got home. I would happily recommend Karen and Mark, and hope they come back to us soon!

Glen was a great sitter and took excellent care of Whisky and our flat. He took Whisky on plenty of walks and kept us updated so we wouldn’t worry about being away. The flat was spotless when we got back.

Nick came alone as it was only one night but is absolutely delightful and the dogs loved him. He was really friendly and easy to talk to. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to any of the pet owning community.

If I could leave more than five stars I would! Leanne and Tom were wonderful seeming to really enjoy the house and loving the cats. I had photos of many cuddles and even a photo of Alfie and Lulu sending a birthday message! Now trying to figure out when I can invite them back! Thank you Luanne and Tom!
