Dog Sitters in East Hanney

Rebecca has been to our home twice now, and she is always incredibly reliable and easy to communicate with. Our dog Imber loves her and we would recommend Rebecca to anyone who would like an stress-free, friendly sitter.

Kate looked after Barney and our house for four nights and we were really happy with the whole experience. She was great to communicate with beforehand - responsive and friendly. She got on well with Barney from the outset, seems to be very comfortable and confident around dogs and was keep to learn as much as she could about how best to look after him. She kept us up to date with photos of their adventures and by all accounts Barney had a whale of a time. The house was well looked-after and in a perfect condition when we returned. We'd love to have Kate housesit for us again in the future and would definitely recommend he to others.

Paul and Cathy were a pleasure to have in the house. They delt with our elderly dog’s, Olive, occasional night accidents without any problems and were more than happy to take on the stay knowing they may have to deal with her age. Rocket our young cocker obviously got plenty of exercise and both got lots of cuddles.

It was a pleasure to have James and Helene stay in our home with Jupiter and Everest. James arrived on time for our departure and was a lovely man to meet. Very kind and friendly which put us instantly at ease. They left the house very clean and tidy which was hugely appreciated. The dogs were both well cared for and we had some pup updates whilst we were away. We would gladly have them stay again.

Lauren and Becky looked after our cockapoo, Star, for a week while we were away skiing. From the moment we met them, we could tell they were true animal lovers who would provide excellent care for Star. Throughout the week, Lauren and Becky sent us daily picture updates showing Star happily playing and cuddling up for naps. It was very comforting to see and know she was doing well. Midway through the sit, our broadband went down. Lauren and Becky were very understanding about the inconvenience and very proactive in getting the issue resolved. When we returned from our trip, we came home to a clean house and a happy, healthy dog. Star was VERY excited to see us, but we could tell she had bonded with Lauren and Becky in our absence. It was clear they had gone above and beyond to make Star feel comfortable, loved, and entertained while we were gone. We wholeheartedly recommend Lauren and Becky. Their excellent communication, responsiveness, and reliable care gave us great peace of mind during our trip.

Elaine was a fantastic house sitter and we feel very fortunate to have had her look after our dogs, cat and home. Prior to the start of the sit Elaine went above and beyond and came to visit us for a day so that she could get to meet the dogs and vice versa which really set our minds at rest. It was also great to be able to show her around the house and go over everything. Elaine is a lovely warm and friendly lady and is really easy to communicate and get along with. She is very organised and covered every possible aspect regarding the care of the pets, our home etc which was so reassuring. Whilst we were away there was a slight problem in the house and Elaine was so helpful in getting things sorted. Elaine kept us well informed and the dogs had an absolute ball. They got lots of love, attention and fun walks - I think they were disappointed when we came home!! Lola the cat got lots of love too. The house was left beautifully clean and tidy along with a gorgeous bunch of flowers and some breakfast! We would highly recommend Elaine and really hope that she will come back and sit for us again. Thank you Elaine- you are a total star and hope we can catch up soon.

Jo and her two daughters are delightful. They looked after our home and pets with great care for three weeks over the summer. Jo was really easy to communicate with and kept us updated with news. The whole family were gentle and patient with our cats, even managing to win round Carlos, our most nervous cat. Chickens, garden pots and greenhouse were all in great shape too on our return. Knowing that Jo and her girls were caring for everyone and everything at home made it so easy for us to have a relaxing holiday.

Natalie and Heather were fantastic sitters for our house but more importantly, the love and care they showed our black Labrador was more than we could have asked for and put our minds at rest, as well as reassuring us that House Sitters was definitely the way forward. They kept in contact with us while we were on holiday, sending us pictures of our dog and emerging spring garden. We cannot thank them enough for their care. We returned to a spotless house and happy dog! Thank you to you both and we hope that in the future you will come back and visit Nala!

Steven, Judith and their daughters Rose and Esther were wonderful house sitters. We communicated well from the very beginning and had daily updates during our time away. On our return, the house was beautifully clean and tidy. Judith had baked a delicious apple pie to welcome us home. The girls took on responsibilities for the chickens and ducks as well as the honesty box at the top of the drive. Steven did a great job in the garden. He picked all of our apples that would otherwise have fallen in the windy conditions and rescued our crop of carrots from marauding rabbits. The lawns were also nicely mowed. This had been a rather challenging house sit for various reasons. Firstly, our beloved Rosie had sadly died just a few weeks before they came. Una was therefore on her own so she enjoyed walks and lots of loving attention. Secondly, one of horses, Cubley, developed a sore hind foot just a few days before the house sit which necessitated both Blue and Cubley being on stable rest throughout the house sit. Even though this was an unexpected level of responsibility, they took on the challenge willingly and coped well in the circumstances. Finally, we had been having some unresolved issues with the heating system. Steven showed initiative and contacted the heating engineers independently. Given these unexpected issues, Steven, Judith and their girls were wonderful and took everything on board as far as they could. We are sorry that they had more responsibilities than originally agreed and hope that this did not detract from their experience. We would certainly welcome them back to our home at a time when hopefully circumstances are back to normal.

Becky was a wonderful sitter for Obeidiah, kind, gentle, and thoughtful. Becky was very relaxed, and Obeidiah clearly liked being in her company. Becky looked after my place perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to have her back and recommend her to others.

Nick came alone as it was only one night but is absolutely delightful and the dogs loved him. He was really friendly and easy to talk to. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to any of the pet owning community.

Casey & Margie were fantastic sitters - they took great care of our dog & our house whilst we were away for the weekend. They were super friendly & easy to communicate with and knew that Trevor would be in safe hands. They shared regular updates and pictures during the weekend & we returned to a very happy pooch & sparkling clean house. Can't recommend highly enough!
