Cathy and Ron are wonderfull people who made me feel directly at home. Chester is a very sweet gentle dog who loves running after sticks and balls. The surrounding is stunning despite the rainy days I had. Beautifull hills and coastline. A car is recommended because the Village does not have a shop. I would recommend this house sitting.
We LOVED sitting for Diana and Ian and their gorgeous boys Jasper and Olly! We arrived the evening before they left for their travels and had a lovely dinner together which Diana kindly made (it felt like we were catching up with old friends!) We also got to meet both cats and got a run through of the house and a list of the local hotspots before they both left the next day. We got on straight away and after a dinner and breakfast together we felt very at home and at ease in their company. The cats are honestly INCREDIBLE! We were together for just over a week and we've never met more affectionate cats. Jasper would be up on your knee while working/watching tv or snuggling with you at bed time and Olly while he liked cuddles too, he was more excited to see you at breakfast and dinner time. Both catcs were super playful and we spent ages watching them both in their element with their toys, there favourite of course was a trusty piece of string. Needless to say we were in heaven with this pair. The house itself is amazing, we worked while we were here and there were so many spots for us to work in without distributing each other on calls. It's also super central and the local bakery, park, shops, train station and restaurants are all very walkable. We had an amazing experience house sitting for Diana and Ian and would love to see Jasper and Olly again soon. Thank you so much both of you for an amazing stay! Natalie & Long xx
