Anna
This was our first sit through Trusted House Sitters and the bar could not have been set higher. Anna’s communications from the outset were friendly, helpful and clear. The house is spectacular and the room we were given was utterly beautiful with an extremely comfortable bed. The star of the show though was Harris, who was a complete delight the whole weekend. He’s been incredibly well trained by Anna and everything she told us to expect from him was 100% accurate so you can feel confident in his recall and behaviour. The location is stunning with plenty of walks just outside the front door and the vast expanses of Exmoor are just a short drive away. We’re already missing our buddy Harris and would always be happy for another visit to sit with him. Thanks so much Anna and Harris. 10 out of 10 all round!

Morgan
It’s always nice when you end up house and cat sitting for someone who’s around your age. Morgan was clear with her requirements, and friendly and communicative from beginning to end. She was also accommodating of the slight changes to my arrival and departure times.

Morgan's place is comfortable, has a lot of natural light coming through (something I have really come to appreciate in recent months!), and is within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, a pharmacy and a proper grocery store. Her kitties, Marlon and Penny, have pretty different personalities, but they’re both great in their own way. Marlon is keen to be your friend from the beginning while Penny takes a little while longer to warm up. Having said that, Penny did let me pet her on the first night. But she does appreciate personal space. The kitties are very easy to care for—just make sure you’re up before 7am to feed Marlon breakfast or he’ll remind you about it until you get up.

Thank you for having me, Morgan!

Lindsay
Obi was an absolute delight to look after! She is super chill and loves to snuggle up with you at night but is pretty independent during the day. The house is gorgeous and accessible by public transport although much easier if you have a car. Lindsay was great with communication and everything is well set up. The whole family was very kind and helpful. I would 100% recommend this housesit! :)

Andrea
Max and Andrea were brilliant hosts, we arrived the afternoon before to settle in and they showed us the local walks, told us everything we need to know about the dogs/house and cooked us a lovely meal. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable.
The dogs were amazing! Bertie was so friendly and lovable straight away and it didn’t take long for Ziggy to warm to us and run up to the bedroom for morning cuddles. We took them on two daily off lead walks straight from the house through the woods, they knew the way and there was no problems at all. They are both so well behaved, Bertie was the best at snuggling with us on the sofa and Ziggy loved following us around and getting belly rubs.
The house was amazing, so comfortable and peaceful, so many places to sit and work/relax from with a view of the garden, and we loved using the Aga to cook. The guest bedroom/ bathroom we stayed in was so spacious and comfortable! It wasn’t the best weather when we were there but was great to have a knock around on the tennis court!
We would come back any time and would recommend!

Ashlee
I loved sitting for Gizmo and Rocky! They're a fun duo and kept me laughing. Their care was very straightforward and easy. Ashlee was super kind and easy to coordinate with and their house was gorgeous and clean. As someone who likes to cook, I was in heaven in their well-stocked kitchen with all the gadgets you could ever need :) Would definitely recommend!

What a wonderful sit we had at Soph's place! Smudge is a wonderful, well-trained dog with the soul of a puppy who loves to run and play outside but also loves to receive a lot, a lot, A LOT of cuddles! :)
We can't speak highly enough of this experience. The house is so comfortable and clean but also has a soul! The park and bus stop are a 2-minute walk from the place. Soph left a very detailed instruction with a specific list of what "orders" Smudge knows and what he should do when called one of them - extremely helpful. She was always quick to reply and communication was very clear.
We would happily look after Smudge again! Thank you! :)
