This sit felt like I was visiting a friend and looking after their pet. Already the first phone conversation with Anita was warm and relaxed and this continued on my day of arrival. Anita treated me to an Italian dinner and made me feel welcome from the start. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need. Public Transport is literally at your door step and the location perfect to explore Munich. Found is an absolute joy to look after. Despite being an elderly lady, she is quite active at play time and loves to come up for cuddles or when she wants some attention. She loves sitting in the sun with you on the balcony. Found stole my heart in no time. Thanks Anita for such a wonderful time with Found and in Munich. I highly recommend this sit and would love to come again.
I had such a fabulous time cat-sitting for Jen and Luke. The suite is extremely lovely, very clean and with equipped every amenity possible. Zeke and Zoey are adorable, well-behaved and so much fun to be with. Zoey is sweet and playful, whereas Zeke loves a good cuddle. They are both well-trained and self-sufficient. The house is very conveniently located, and I had a great time touring the neighbourhood and visiting the local boutiques and coffee shops. Jen and Luke are fabulous people - warm, trusting and kind. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and were extremely communicative and organized. It's been a real pleasure meeting both them and the cats. I would 100% recommend this sit.
I had a great time sitting for Umi and Bodhi. I had never sat for a bunny before, but Jessica's instructions were clear and thorough, and it was easy. Umi was surprisingly cuddly and up for being pet. I'll be looking out for bunny sits in the future. Bodhi is at the top of the cuddly cat scale. I worked from home for much of the sit, and it wasn't long before Bodhi was jumping into my lap. Bodhi gives a little meow when she needs some attention or just wants to say hi, and she was happy to be cuddled much of the time. Sometimes I felt like Bodhi or Umi would be jealous of the other if I was only petting one of them, so if they were near each other, I would try to pet them both at the same time. Even so, both Bodhi and Umi were also happy to be left to their own devices. Bodhi would sometimes hang out in the garage for a while, or lie alone on the bed, the top of the couch, or other random places. Umi would hang out in his bunny house, on the bed, or in his always-open cage, where his bed and hay are. In short, Umi and Bodhi were usually up for hanging out, but they didn't need constant attention. Also, feeding them and cleaning up after them was simple. Jessica's home is a very nice house in a good location. The decor was elegant and thoughtful and gave me a calm, peaceful feel. Jessica made me feel at home and was quick to respond to any texts I sent. She let me borrow her bike during the sit, and since I'm staying in Austin for a few days after the sit, she even let me borrow it for the rest of my time in Austin. I would love to do this sit again if it happened to work out the next time I'm in Austin!
I highly recommend this sit! Steamboat is a beautiful location if you love nature and being outdoors! I enjoyed my time in the beautiful surroundings with all the sweet pets. Loved the animal cuddles and walking the pups. Lots of pets yet easy to take care of them with the information that Lu and Andy provided. It was fun getting to know all their personalities and seeing how well they got along. I would welcome the opportunity to sit them again!
We had a lovely time housesitting for Heike and Harald! Their home is absolutely beautiful and located very centrally in a cute town. We loved cooking in the stunning kitchen! The home was equipped with everything we would possibly need including a very generous welcome basket. The kitties were social and friendly. They warmed up to us quickly and were very sweet. Heike is extremely organised and was a great communicator both before and during the sit. We felt very informed and comfortable. It was a pleasure housesitting for Heike and Harald 😊
This was a fantastic house sit for us. Diana and Andy were very hospitable, leaving us plenty of space in the fridge and cupboards. We stayed in the guest room with empty closets and drawers, and the choice of two bathrooms to use. The bed was super comfortable and warm, and use of the office with a proper office chair was great. The house has loads of cosy seating areas including a newly built conservatory which looks onto a beautiful flower garden. Otto is a calm and independent senior dog who knows his routines and was very easy to care for. He was well behaved on the lead and around other dogs and people. There was a lot to see and do in the area and highly recommend this sit.
