We had such a great time caring for Coco! He is such a well behaved, sweet boy who is just looking for some cuddles. He was the perfect companion for a rainy evening in watching shows and great company for remote work. He is great on walks and definitely knows where he wants to be taken. The apartment is in a great location with beautiful views. It is a very comfortable and welcoming stay. Ellie and George are very friendly and personable. They are easy going and great to chat with! They showed/explained everything we needed to know for the stay. We are looking forward to our next sit with Coco 😁
Had a wonderful sit looking after Kenji and Natasha over the holidays. Maria & John provided us with a thorough Welcome Guide (as we like!), gave us an informative walk through on the day of our arrival to get to know the cats, home & property and left us well stocked for our 12 day sit (including some fantastic wine!). They were also easily reachable while traveling and had friendly neighbors who we enjoyed getting to meet. Kenji and Natasha are great fur kids and are treated as so - they have an easy feeding routine and, as indoor cats, play time is a must...and they appreciate it. As Maria explained, Kenji needed a bit more activity as he is younger and it was as simple as putting his harness on and taking him outside for a bit - he loved doing this! By the first evening they accepted that we would be suitable caregivers and were snuggling on the sofa with us. The home is situated in a lovely, wooded area of Wellfleet where several walks can be taken right from the front door. It is well appointed with everything one would want as well as clean and comfortable. We would recommend any future sits to cat loving sitters who want to experience a bit of Cape Cod.
It was my first sit here on Trusted Housesitters and it was amazing. I had a wonderful time and would recommend this sit 100%. The house is comfortable, has everything you might need and is located very idyllically on Hönö, a Swedish island. So, for everyone who likes nature, this is the perfect place. You can take very nice walks or you can also take the ferry and visit the other islands. Gabi and her family are fantastic hosts. Super friendly and welcoming. They gave me a lot of information on what to do and where to go. Communication was great throughout. The chickens and cats were very easy to care for and all had lovely personalities. I especially liked Fritz, the male cat. He is super cute. I have only been home for two days now, but I already miss him. I very much enjoyed my time on Hönö and am very grateful that I was chosen for this sit.
Lynda is the best. She was super good to us, and left us her beautiful apartment with everything super clean and tidy - as a hotel experience. Also, she has everything you need for your sit. She didn't have a problem recieving us the day before at almost midnight with a smile. Gringo and Helios are lovely cats. Helios is the most sociable and naughty one. Gringo is more quiet. He has to take a medicine twice a day which he takes very well. Both of them have a really organized routine which is easy to adapt to. We spent amazing days in Geneve - Lynda lives in a quite and nice neighbourhood which is also well connected to go anywhere. Lynda is also really flexible as she let us spend one more night with her. She gave us a small city tour and took us out for a great fondue. We would be back with no doubts!! We are so glad to have met Lynda, Helios and Gringo, a beautiful family.
This sit was truly charming. A warm and inviting house in the woods. Super friendly chickens and even some very tame wild bunnies. Anneke was very organized and helpful and provided everything that we needed for a comfortable stay in her home.
We had a lovely time staying at Non and Dave’s home in Fort William. From the moment we arrived, communication was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed. Gracie, their adorable cat, was such a sweetheart - easy to care for and always up for cuddles. The location of their home was simply breathtaking, adding to the charm of our visit. We're already missing Gracie 💞
