Carole was a wonderful host and her fur babies are delightful. The cats, Tiddy and Sasha are very shy but eventually got used to us. Chiara was happy to sit around the fire all day and Pippa just loved to spend time with us and snuggle at the end of the day after a good walk. Carole left plenty of instructions and also lots of information on what to see and do in the Le Marche area. Kerrin & Graham December 2022
Sitting for Tina and her family exceeded all expectations. They went above and beyond to help me feel welcome, comfortable, and fully situated, graciously accommodating my complicated travel logistics and saving me a good deal of time and trouble. Communication and coordination with Tina was easy breezy from start to finish. Hanging out with Rupert and the gang was also a real treat. Rupert and Sha in particular are big sweethearts who waste no time at all warming up and getting acquainted. Though our sit was only a day, it was certainly one for the books. If you have the opportunity to sit for this wonderful family, jump on it, don't think twice!
We loved looking after Ozzy who was the sweetest little guy who loves to carry a tennis ball in his mouth for the entire walk and jump up on your lap for a cuddle in the evening. The house was beautiful and pristinely clean, far nicer than any AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. What I personally enjoyed the most were the helpful printed labels that could be found through out the house. We’re looking after Ozzy again in November and hope to look forward to many more sits with him! Mai & Joe
My husband and I did this sit together, and what an amazing time we had. Right from our arrival, Mary and Paul were like old friends. We stayed overnight one day early so we could get to know our responsibilities. There was a small guest house outside of the main house, which was quite comfortable for that first night. Their home is beautiful! Right on the river, an abundance of nature and all that encompasses it. Inside the house, there is everything you would need. We had a comfortable bedroom in the house with a private bathroom just across the hall. Mary and Paul were both readily available by text if contact was needed, and they both appreciated a few photos throughout their holiday. Friday is such a gentle, old soul. Despite his walking difficulties, he was enthusiastic and enjoyed a good property walk and lying in the sun and shade on a warm sunny day. Daily brushing is a must. While inside, he likes for someone to give a good ear scratch as his legs can not do it anymore. We were able to bring a friend for Friday, and I believe the companionship was welcomed. Shenzi is a character! She really does do her own thing but does rely on you for in/out of the house, keeping her food/water dish topped, and back scratches. She loves attention whilst she eats and does ask for it. This was an adorable feature! All-in-all, we would absolutely accept a return sit.
I had a wonderful catsitting stay with Toby. In the evenings it was very cosy with Toby because he got cuddly. During the day he goes off on his own adventures outside. The place is super nice and clean. I felt very comfortable and would love to come back! Thank you very much.
I really enjoyed sitting for Eleanor's cats. Preston and Mabelle are a very sweet brother-sister pair – I found them to be serene cats, very peaceful. Caring for them is very straightforward. Eleanor was a great host – clear communication, a really nice welcome, and set her home up so that I felt very welcome and had everything I needed. Eleanor's home is lovely, with a nice little suntrap garden. It's particularly well located in the centre of Brighton and is very comfortable.
