JoAnna and David were woderful housesitters! They were clear and communicative from the moment they applied to our posting. We are still pretty new to TH and they put us at ease with adorable curated photos of our kitty that showed they took the time and really cared! They were both witty and very responsive to any question or last minute mail-check requests. Our Bonsai was in great shape when we returned, the house was spotless, and as an extra bonus they even washed, dried, and re-made their bed. We highly recommend them!
Annette came alone and she was awesome. So pleasant and the dogs took to her immediately. My house was spotless when I returned and it was so nice to not have to clean up a week's worth of dog hair and dust! I hope it works out for her to come again! Highly recommend Annette.
We enjoyed getting to housesit Layla and the snakes. Layla is a sweet dog and she is very calm and well-behaved in the house. Nick did a good job filling us in on her tendency to pull on the leash when outdoors, towards other people, dogs, cyclists and cars. Walking her in the neighborhood early in the morning when things were most quiet worked out really well. Then snakes did not need anything from us but they were interesting to watch. The house is in a great location about 15 minutes from WInter Park. There are beautiful views from the deck and from the neighborhood streets.
I recently had the pleasure of house sitting for Rachel & David in Kilmaurs, taking care of their two dogs, Bruce and Arnie, and Oliver the cat. Bruce, Arnie and Oliver were hilarious characters and made for fantastic company, always keeping me entertained with their playful antics and sleeping positions lol. The house itself is beautiful, large, and modern, providing a very comfortable living space. Rachel &David went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and prepared, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Kilmaurs is a quaint village, and everyone I met was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of my stay. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. I would love to take care of Bruce, Arnie and Oliver again in the future!
J'ai passé une très belle fin de semaine chez Fanny. Marius est incroyablement calme et gentil. L'appartement est très bien situé, très éclairé, très accueillant. Vraiment, une belle expérience! Je recommande tout à fait.
Let's face it, my sits are all about cat time. Dora is so fluffy but alternates between avoiding you and wanting attention. Smudge is so cute and affectionate and always very hungry! I was sorry to leave both cats. The house is in a lovely position in the country but a car is essential. Well equipped, clean, interesting and very comfortable house made this a very pleasant sit. Thank you Martyn and Lynn.
We had the best time playing with Kobi & Milo, both boys were the most loving and sweet companions during this time and we felt very blessed to be able to spend such lovely time with them. The morning adventures dog walking was the highlight as well as the amazing greeting when coming through the door. Gail welcomed us into her beautiful and clean house, gave very clear instructions and we had time to relax and feel comfortable before she left - communication enabled everything to work like clockwork and allowed our time there to be very smooth and relaxed :-) Thank you Gail, Milo & Kobi for a very beautiful stay xx
We had a wonderful sit for Nelly & Ruby. They are fun and affectionate dogs Clare & James made us very welcome in their beautiful home - a real treat to stay. It’s so close to town but you feel you are in the middle of the country. The town is an easy walk, with a Waitrose close by. Communication was great with a video call and a meet to discuss the dog’s needs & routines etc. Clare was very organised which helped make our stay easier. Nelly was surprisingly active for her age - enjoying walks in the nearby wood and getting involved in playtime too Ruby is full of energy and loves chasing the ball. Being in season we could only take her to the small woods nearby but she loved exploring and retrieving sticks. There is a dog friendly, vast park to enjoy. Both dogs loved cozying up on the sofa at the end of the day which was very rewarding. They got on really well with our dog Barley - we all had a lot of fun together! Thank you Clare & James.
