Our petsitting experience for Bento was nothing short of fantastic! Kendra is super welcoming, friendly and enjoyable to talk to, she made us feel right at home. The house is beautiful and incredibly enjoyable to stay in. Taking care of Bento was an absolute pleasure – such a well-behaved and lovable dog! Overall, it was a delightful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed!
Our sit at Tom and Becky’s was wonderful from start to finish. They are a lovely, friendly couple who made us feel so welcome and comfortable. They have a beautiful home in a park-like setting surrounded by lots of walks and a very cute little village. Humphrey is the best! Such an intelligent and easy going dog. We loved our walks together, and just hanging out. He is very affectionate and obedient. The six chickens are fun and easy to care for. We enjoyed their bountiful and delicious egg supply. Overall this was one of our favorite sits to date, and we hope to come back again in the future. We highly recommend this sit.
The house is a small slice of heaven, full of light with many windows but complete privacy with mature trees on a dead end quiet road situated on the water. Jeff and Shannon were extremely welcoming and wanted us to feel at home. They left clear instructions as well as an in person orientation. The house has fast broadband internet and has a very nice kitchen set up with necessary cookware. We were offered either their room or the den downstairs, which we choose as it had a very comfortable bed and a full bath. They have a charming Maine Coon cat named Grayson, who is very independent and he enjoys 2-3 walks per day on a leash. He knows exactly where he wants to go and loves to watch the birds and bugs. He's very used to the leash and it's not a problem to put on his harness. Grayson isn't as snuggly as some cats, but he loves to be brushed at least daily. This was a lovely sit in a beautiful spot and a charming cat that we would love to do again.
Adriana and Stormy are just great all around! Stormy is very laid back and easy to care for, and Adriana is so very gracious and friendly. The home is in a safe, beautiful neighborhood close to amenities and an easy drive to shopping and local attractions.
Michele and Flam are incredible hosts, they treated us with kindness and friendliness from the beginning to the end of the stay, Rodrigo and I appreciated their hospitality, the days with Basil and Charlie were like returning to our own home, Basil is super intelligent and affectionate, We feel very blessed for every act of trust he had, Charlie is the best cat in the world, affectionate and flirtatious, he has his own way of communicating perfectly and I was able to understand almost everything he wanted, they are wonderful. family. We hope to meet again on another occasion and have the privilege of sitting with Charlie and Basil.
A wonderful, quiet and convenient location to all things Santa Cruz! Clover (Labrador) was fun to be around and take in her excitement for walks and just wanting to be around humans☺️. She can be a handful with approaching dogs while on walks….for which we were informed by Jennifer, so we simply anticipated other dogs, pulled her aside to sit as they passed. That worked pretty well…with that positive experience, we then gave her a little treat. 🤓. Marshmallow the Kitty was a darling and was very content to do her own thing. We loved taking care of Clover and Marshmallow in such a great, prime location in the Santa Cruz/Capitola area!
