We rate Illia and Viktoria FIVE STARS and our pups rate them all four paws up!!! The first star/paw is for being caring and loving. Our dogs felt pampered and doted on. They were brushed, fed, and walked—same routines as if we were here. Illia and Viktoria even got up and out of the house by 5:30am to walk the dogs in the coolest part of the day.

The second star/paw is for being conscientious. We have notebooks with information about our dogs and our house and Illia and Viktoria were diligent in reading through it and asking questions about things they weren't sure of. They followed all the watering and yard maintenance which was extensive with the unusually high temperatures we had while we were out of town.

The third star/paw is for being excellent communicators. My experience is that when looking for a dog/house sitter the rapport starts with the first phone call. Illia and Viktoria were personable, focused on understanding and listened. Texts and phone calls were promptly returned.

The fourth star/paw is for being friendly. Viktoria and Illia are easy to talk with and we loved having them extend their stay before and after the house sit. We got spoiled by the wonderful meals they prepared and shared with us.

The fifth star is for being dog lovers (Oakley and Fitz would add a paw but four is all they have). What's not to love about dogs? But...not everyone wants to meet the requirements of big dogs and the dog slobber that accompanies them. The dogs have made lifelong friends and they can’t wait until we leave again!

Where to begin? Otis and Betty are just simply the best company you could ever ask for! And West and Cecily are the kind of host you’d like to receive you every time you house sit.

We really enjoyed taking care of Otis and Betty. They adjusted to us very quickly and smoothly. They are very sweet and they’re cuddle experts!! They’re free eaters and usually have a walk once a day. They love to cuddle with you and give you company either if you’re working from the sofa or watching TV in bed.

As for the house, it’s 10min away from the bart via scooters and in around 40min you’re in San Francisco. There were clean bedsheets and towels already set up for us which we really appreciate. And, Cecily even bought us grocery worth our whole stay. We felt very very welcomed!!

West and Cecily answered to each of our questions and were very responsive. They also gave really good recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area. And, they not only welcomed us with a grocery worth our stay but also we’re lucky enough to have dinner with them twice. These details make the whole difference 💛 We had a blast!!

Thanks so much for sharing Otis and Betty with us as well as your home.

Much love to the 4 of you!💛💛💛

sue
We had a wonderful experience looking after Whiskey in Sue's lovely timbered home. We felt very welcome and enjoyed all the many beautiful walks around the numerous National Trust properties in the region, which all allowed us to take Whiskey along. The garden and views are fabulous and the home is clean and quiet with everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommend!

Emma
Emma and Tim are such gracious hosts! Their resort home in Sifah was a fabulous get-away for my Father and I to spend two weeks of Christmas break with their super loving dog, Dora! The transition was smooth, as Emma and Tim made us feel super welcome, their neighbors were all so friendly, and the grounds had a lot of interests for us to explore along the golf course, the beach, and the bars/restaurants nearby. Dora was so easy to care for. She was a great friend for morning yoga, walks along the beach, and bird watching on the greens. Thank you, Tim, Emma and Dora for the life long memories!

Bowie and Zeus are adorable and lovely to be with. They like spending time with humans and cuddles. We will miss them.

Jaslyn is accommodating and great with communication. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

The house was clean and tidy. It has everything we needed.

Thank you for the positive experience Jaslyn. We'd be happy to come house/pet sitting again in the future and would recommend Jaslyn's listing.

Marla
Firstly like to thank Marla for a great handover experience even letting us sleep in her bed when we arrived at 3am. The stay in general was quite an unpleasant experience, the two cats are indeed VERY crazy and fight a lot and keep you up at night. Besides the people playing basketball until midnight and the constant funeral. The house has no air con and has little airflow. Dispite a detailed booklet of what to do ,We tried our best to accommodate Marla and was instructed to “put bed linen in the wash” when we leave. We obliged but still was met with a bombardment of voicenote and messages stating otherwise. We bought toilet roll for her when leaving but the Cats had ripped into it and messed the place up. I think this host is set to tarnish our reputation and was just having a bad day as her flights got delayed and her not communicated her needs correctly.
