Renee and Ronnie are a wonderful couple who watched our two kitties for us for two weeks. It’s clear they are both genuine animal lovers, and gave so much attention to our two little ones. Renee was so kind to send pics and videos of the cats almost daily, and Ronnie was the hero of the day when he rescued one of our cats who was likely chased onto a roof and scared to come down! They made sure she came back safe and sound. Adding to that, Ronnie graciously changed our air filter, and Renee baked us fresh gluten-free banana bread and gifted us delicious homemade apricot jam! And it was an inviting, clean home we returned to. I hope they’ll return to Arkansas soon and stay in touch with us.... We'll welcome them back any time!
Jean met all my expectations as a pet sitter. He took care of my Bella for close to three weeks and knew she was in good hands based on the "bonding" photos he sent me when I was away. Highly recommend Jean for your pet sit.
Linda is detail oriented and did a great job. She took great care of my pets and my house. The house was left much cleaner than I left it. She made it a point to be punctual and to know what was to be expected of her.
Odie was the best companion you can ask for in the vast, rolling woodland setting of Stouffville. He is a most gentle giant and a happy, easy to-care-for dog. He has been well trained by the entire family and walks happily off-leash while keeping an eye on you. He listens to commands and walks, runs and plays well outdoors and indoors. Since we love being outdoors a lot, walking Odie through the neighbouring wooded trails and the numerous York Regional Forest trails was the best thing I could ask for. Anita and Gerry are most gracious hosts, who are very kind and caring. The home is super comfortable and offers ample space to work from home, workout (and do yoga - I always bring my own yoga mat, but they have one too!) My room was very cozy and quiet, which I appreciate and also had an ensuite washroom. I had no troubles connecting with Anita and Gerry while they were away and really enjoyed sending them updates with photos, on my fun adventures with Odie. If you are considering a quiet getaway to work from home, in a lovely area of Ontario, close to Toronto, with a most lovable and sweet canine best friend, I say you must apply to sit here. I highly recommend staying here with Odie and would happily sit here again. Thank you so much Gerry and Anita for sharing your sweet pooch with me.
