Beth and Matthew have been my first house sitters - and I was their first house sit too. Beth and Matthew have been great. I was a little nervous as this was the first time I've the zeewoi platform and service. Beth contacted me to let me know that one of my dogs had a sore on her chest and sent me a video to let me see and decide what to do. We agreed my dog needed to be seen by a vet and within a few hours my dog had antibiotics. Beth even popped into a shop to buy my dog a jumper to wear as the vet had recommended this to stop her scratching the sore. When I got home Beth had washed all their bedding and the house was clean and tidy. Both Beth and Matthew are a lovely couple and I would definitely recommend them both if you are looking for reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitters.
Erica was great! Easy to communicate with and very self -sufficient when we ended up being out of service for several days. Pingo and the house were clearly in good hands, we came back to a spotless house with a freshly made bed and a happy dog. We'd definitely have Erica again!
I am so grateful to Victoria for taking such wonderful care of my elder cats,, Zoe and Mischief, my home and my garden! She stayed in touch, and even sent photos of Zoe and Mischief, which further reassured me that my kitties and my home were in good hands while I was away. In short, I feel lucky to have connected with Victoria through zeewoi, wouldn't hesitate to call on her again, and recommend her without reservation.
This was my first time using zeewoi. Not only did I have to prepare my home for a guest but prepare myself for leaving my boys with someone I had only met through a zoom call. Right away, I was put at ease as Sharon just gravitated right to my boys. She asked questions about info that I had missed in my welcome pack that made me rest assured that she was on the ball. Throughout my trip, Sharon kept in touch with me about how the boys were getting along... I was so relieved hearing that their usual playful selves was apparent. Given that our flight home was going to be late, she insisted on waiting until we were heading out of the airport before leaving the boys with their last walk until we came home. When we walked through our front door, the boys were chilling out, our home was spotless, and she even washed the bedding. I can recommend Sharon with 100% certainty that your pets will be in great hands. Thanks Sharon for everything.
Jaclyn was a wonderful sitter for our dog Tucker! She was always quick to respond to communications, she was easy-going and excited to sit with Tucker, she shared updates (with pictures) while we were away, and she left our house cleaner than when we left - she even ran the dishwasher, which we forgot to do before we left! She and Tucker bonded immediately, and when we returned home it was clear that he had a great time with Jaclyn. We can't recommend her highly enough!
I can’t say enough good things about Felicia! She was willing to come over ahead of time so we could meet her. Lele took an instant liking to her (and I think it was mutual).😁 Felicia showed up on time, checked in on a regular basis while I was away, and sent photos of Lele, too. I tend to over prepare, and Felicia was accepting of that and helped me feel okay about my preparation and absence. I felt very comfortable leaving, knowing the most important thing, Lele, was well taken care of. This is my first time using zeewoi, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Felicia far exceeded all of my hopes and expectations. I would absolutely love to have Felicia come back again!
I am so glad that my cat, Duque, and I met Sharon! She is a wonderful person, very kind with pets, thorough with house care and communicative. Sharon's cleaning (and brownies!) went above and beyond and my cat did not seem to have missed me much when I got home. I recommend Sharon if she applies for your sit and we hope to welcome her back to our home one day.
Julie and Adrian were ideal pet and house sitters. Julie and Damian are very friendly and made sure to go over details and ask questions when they arrived. We came home to very happy and contented pets. Our dog and cat clearly got lots of love and attention (also clear from the great photos that Julie and Adrian sent us). The house was immaculate when we came home. We could not ask for better, more trusted, house sitters.
Although they are experienced pet sitters this was their first sit with zeewoi and they were wonderful. Jyoti (our cat) was completely at ease and spent plenty of time on their laps. The chickens were well looked after and they managed the broody one efficiently. Excellent communication before and during the house sit. They followed our detailed instructions conscientiously and left the house clean and tidy. They cooked a meal for us on our return and we enjoyed getting to know them. We would welcome them back any time and highly recommend them for future sits.
Lea was so wonderful, we highly recommend her. She was friendly and communicative throughout, sending us daily updates and photos. We returned back to a beautifully cleaned house and a very happy cat, we are so grateful- she was an absolute delight

My dog has been staying at Mearns Lodge for 8 years, usually once a month, and loves it! The team are so welcoming and take special care of his extra needs as a senior dog. I feel so reassured knowing how well he’s being looked after (and spoiled!)

Review is based off of a visit and “tour” of the facility we took last month. We did not choose to board our dog here. One star for the facility itself, which was quite nice. Looked clean and tidy, and lots of room to roam for the dogs. However, 4 stars have been docked for their unfriendly demeanor, unclear communication, and disinterest in our actual dog. We initially spoke to a friendly woman on the phone who told us we would have to come for a visit and tour of the facility before booking our dog in for our holiday in February. She explained that the visit was for us to see the place, and for them to get a feel for our dog's demeanor. She also advised that we should book a one night stay in late January, close to our holiday, so our dog would feel more comfortable during the longer stay, which made sense. However, upon our arrival with our dog for the tour, we were immediately made to feel unwelcome by the 2 women in the front office, without even a hello. Instead we were told quite bluntly that dogs are not allowed on tours….of the dog boarding facility. If that had been communicated to us beforehand, we absolutely would have left him home. But the woman on the phone had encouraged the dog's presence. After that unfriendly welcome it was decided that one of us would stay with the dog, and the other would tour, and then we would switch off. The “tour” itself was a 3 minute walk down a hallway, with little time to ask questions. We were also not allowed to go into any boarding rooms, even though most were empty at the time. My partner got the short end of the stick by going second, his “tour” was only about a minute and a half in length. Following that, we were told that January was far too late to book a one night stay, because the stay was not only for our dog to feel comfortable, but also for them to decide if they wanted him there. Further, we were told that we might need to book *2 or 3 one night stays* prior to our holiday, and *then* they would decide whether they wanted to board our dog…(Also neither woman had much interest in even saying hello to our dog. Do they even like dogs here??) Overall, definitely go and visit (but DON’T bring your dog…) because maybe the vibe will be to your liking. But we left with a very bad taste in our mouths.
Firstly I would say this looks like a great facility - lovely clean kennels and great set up, its just that we were made to feel very unwelcome. We booked in a visit as potential boarding for our lovely rescue dog but from the start of the visit, we just felt very unwelcome and blockers put in our way to proceed - everything seemed to be problematic. It's a real shame as I think the boarding would have been a great environment for our boy and he would have adapted brilliantly but from the start of the visit we felt very excluded and it was clear that they did not want to proceed - we really felt that they did not want to take our dog (I would add our dog has no behavioral issues and successfully boards and attends daycare in another location - we just wanted to have another option due to how busy our normal kennel/ daycare is)

Fantastic place! My dog has been for both day care and boarding and seemed to really enjoy it. I know when I leave him he's being well looked after by very friendly staff who are knowledgeable about dogs.
Our dog has been attending daycare here for about a year, she absolutely loves it, she is very well cared for and it has benefitted her enormously. We also use their dog field at weekends to give her a good run in a safe place. Really glad we found this place.
Just picked my dog up from the lodge and the people working there could not have looked after her any better very helpful and polite people would highly recommend mearns canine Lodge if you are looking for boarding kennels
Mearns Canine Lodge is very good all the staff are lovely and welcoming our dog Angus has been a few times and he's very happy there the grounds and facilities are very nice and I know Angus is getting looked after and I don't need to worry they also put videos on fb of the dogs playing with the other dogs in the fenced area on the grounds I just look at it Angus is going his we holiday when he goes to Mearns canine lodge and he enjoys it. If I could have given more stars I would have 5 isn’t enough. My boy had been to another kennel before we started using Mearns Canine Lodge and horror story is an understatement. Hugo is my baby he’s a typical daft staffy who loves his cuddles and loves a good run about he wasnt the same dog when we brought him home from last kennel he was so skinny couldn’t stop shaking and wouldn’t even come up for a cuddle (won’t name them but they just outside Glasgow) whole different story when we came here. I worried the whole time we where away but I can hand on heart say this place is amazing. Hugo had a ball he had been eating he was happy and comfortable and went in to his kennel no bother. The kennels are very clean and well run you can see the day care dogs in the garden all playing and happy aswel. They have out door runs aswel so if your dog is like Hugo who forgets to come home when he’s out this is great they can run about and get a good stretch. This is our go to kennel now but book well in advance as they are busy. Well done Mearns Canine Lodge one happy dog = one happy mum thank you

The team at Taylor Made Activities have been walking our two Labradors every weekday since they were 6 months old. We have had a fantastic service from Andy & Alfie I I can't recommend them highly enough to any prospective customers. Definitely a 5 Star service.
Taylor Made Activities have been looking after our Sprocker now for 6 months and it has become his home away from home. He loves it there and is very well looked after. We receive a very high level of service and would recommend Andy and the team to any dog owner.
Andy and Alfie provide an excellent service. Our chocolate lab Bruce watches for them every day. The service they provide is second to none, the dogs get a full hour of walking in the country. Bruce also boards there while we go on holiday. The dogs stay in the house and get treated as part of the family. Nothing is to much trouble and we would like to thank you for loving our fur babies as much as we do 🐶🐶
Taylor Made Activities have been walking and boarding my English Shepherd for over four years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with her care. She enjoys long off lead walks, a safe and enclosed garden to play in and, importantly to me, becomes part of the family when she boards. Reliable, flexible and accommodating they are a great team providing a first class service.
I have had several dog walkers over the 2 years we have had our dog. Hands down Taylor Made are the best and most professional outfit. They never let you or the dogs down. My dog loves them. Andy and Alfie took care of our 2 dogs for years. Both dogs loved them and would sit outside waiting for them to arrive. Sadly both dogs passed away from old age but if/when we get other dogs, we'll definitely use them again. Would recommend them to anyone who loves their dogs.

Andy and Alfie have been walking my german shepherd for the last 3 years. She always gets her full hour sometimes longer and she bounds out of the door with excitment everytime they come. Andy not only walks and boards our dog but gives us tips and advice along the way. Nothing is ever too much trouble. 5* service.

I was really impressed by PetStay Glasgow from the start - Jane is very professional and inspires confidence. She asked for a lot of information about our lab Grace before matching her with a sitter. Grace was with Eleanor and family for 2 weeks and she couldn't have been better looked after. Eleanor was very good at keeping in touch and sent daily news and excellent videos and photos of Grace. Grace was also given a variety of walks and activities (she even 'helped' with the recycling) and looked happy and very much herself. Eleanor clearly cares about the dogs she looks after and does an amazing job. We will certainly be using PetStay again, and would love to have Eleanor and family look after Grace again.

Our dog Meg was fantastically looked and cared for by Lorraine and family , Lorraine kept us updated with pictures and videos of her stay with her family , Meg looked like she was from home to home , out every day playing with her new found friends Lorraine's daughter and son , especially she loved Lorraine, the service we was giving was 100%+ as I was not sure leaving Meg with anyone as she was used to family members looking after her but Lorraine made memories and security in my heart , would recommend this company Pet stay to anyone they would not let you down and ensure your pet is suitable with the right person like we had , only thing that we can say is that Meg is missing Lorraine and family thank you again Pet stay and Lorraine for looking after Meg and she woofs you all.
This was our first time using Petstay and won't be our last. Our 18 month old cockapoo Rico stayed 7 days with Joanna and her terrier Roger. I was really worried about leaving Rico but could see Joanna loved dogs , she continued with Ricos routine, ensuring he had plenty of exercise each day and Roger was happy to have a friend . Joanna sent us videos/ photos each day which we all loved getting, he's going back again in a couple of monhhs for 2 weeks . We had such a fantastic experience using PetStay - from the get go Jane put us at ease and explained how the process worked. She took as much information as she could about our dog Chase to ensure she matched us to the perfect carer. We were matched with Lorraine and her family. On the first visit with Lorraine we knew Chase would be in safe hands. When dropping him off for the week we felt anxious as this was the first time he had stayed anywhere except family but that settled very quickly when we seen how happy he was to see Lorraine. Every day we received pictures and feedback of what he got upto that day and lets just say he was definitely on his holidays too. Eleanor and her whole family made our petstay experience amazing. She and all of her family gave our collie Dornie the most amazing care while we were on holiday. We got regular updates as to how he was settling in, which was extremely reassuring for us and laid our minds to rest so we could enjoy our holiday. Eleanor took gorgeous photos and sent us loads, we really appreciated this! All in all, I think Eleanor has been our best dog sitter ever, and we would love to have her and her lovely family to look after Dornie again. We liked the company Petstay too, it was easy to set up our pet care, our sitter was very well matched to our Dornie. All in all, a great service, I would give 6* if I could! Many thanks :)

The service from PetStay is exceptionally professional and thoughtful from start to finish, and our dog had a wonderful time when we were away. He was paired with a perfect family. The family he boarded with sent us a photo and an update each day, which put our minds at rest and we could see how happy our dog was. He even went to the beach! Goodness, where to start. I have only very positive things to say about my entire experience using Pet Stay. From my initial contact with Jane, who was so helpful, thorough and very quickly matched my dog to his hosts. Marie and Kenny are just lovely people. They were wonderful hosts. So kind, friendly and very accommodating. Skipper settled so well and just had the best time with them. He was on lovely walks/went to the cafe which he loves and I was kept up to date via messages and pictures during Skipper's stay. I will absolutely use Pet Stay again, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone A fantastic experience, hence the 5 stars.
Was a bit worried as haven't left poppy with anyone for more than few days, We met Jean , Pat & jasmine before leaving poppy with them, We were sent photos of poppy & she settled well throughout her stay. When your dog is such a huge part of your life, you want the best for them. Kitkat is a sensitive dog and we knew kennels would not be a good fit for her. So imagine our relief, when from the very first meeting, Kitkat was relaxed and happy with Alice and Bernard Stuart. It was so obvious she would be happy and settled that we went home and booked the dates right away! During our holiday Kit was in a home from home environment. She was able to sit where she liked and sleep where she liked. Kit enjoyed walks by water and met the local wildlife. She was looked after so well, we could see from the photos how she was doing. The attached photos were sent to us during our holiday by Alice. I would not hesitate to recommend petstay to anyone. Jane is fabulous, very thorough and efficient. An altogether brilliant service from a wonderful team! We are looking at dates next year already!
My dog has been attending Tails of Tranquility since she was a puppy. She suffers from separation anxiety but this is the only time she will willingly leave me. She absolutely loves it. The team are great with the dogs. Winnie comes home tired and I just know she's had the best day. If you're on the fence about which daycare to use, I would highly recommend Tails of Tranquility. I do not worry about leaving Winnie at all. I wouldn't take her anywhere else. The drop off times and pick up times are really accommodating in comparison to others.
Excellent. Brilliant staff who are very welcoming and amazing with our dog. All our dogs needs are catered for and they have a great setup. Our dog loves going there. Great themed days and activities as well.

Hamish has really enjoyed his walks with Amy. Amy always responds to our messages and keeps us informed on how Hamish is settling in within the group. Amy is trustworthy and responsible, so much so that we often get her to check-in on our rabbits when we're away on holiday.
It's been so great having Amy and Anna to walk Bailey as it gives her a really good chance to socialise with other dogs which she really missed out on in her early years. Both Amy and Anna really care about Bailey as if she was their own dog and would always recommend then.

We picked Gwynnie up after 10 nights at Best Friends kennels and she seemed very relaxed there! Since we've been home, she's been so chilled out. Will definitely be back in the future knowing that she's somewhere comfortable. Cheeky bonus that she got a wash before we collected her so she was all fluffy and smelling of coconuts! It's really quite stressful trying to find good kennels for your dog...so let me help & say stop looking, you have found them if your considering Best Friends. Our spoiled princess Sasha was here for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it. We were worried about leaving her & needn't have been. Allan took extremely good care of her & and sent us texts and updates to reassure us that she was doing fine. She was groomed and came home smelling amazing. A huge thanks for taking care of our girl to such a high standard. Its very clear you love dogs by the way you care for them Hopefully she'll be back for another wee visit soon
My Stella always has a fantastic stay at Best Friends kennels, she always comes home very happy and smells great as she gets a bath when leaving. Alan really does care and is very friendly. I would highly recommend this kennels for any dog owner. I don't feel bad leaving my dog here as I know she has a great time.
Really excellent kennels with very caring owner. Both our dogs had a great time over Christmas and New Year and we've booked them in again for the summer holidays. Update July '24: Both dogs are just home following another fortnight spent here. They've clearly had a great time with Alan as I barely got a welcome from them. It's so good to be able to leave them here knowing they are well looked after.
Our dog Leo has been in kennels before but we thought we would try best friends as it is closer to our home . We picked him up this morning. He was so happy it’s not like him usually in a mood with us for going away . He had also been washed so smelt great . Alan was lovely even gave Leo treats away with him . We had a last minute emergency and had to pop our dog Koda into a kennel for about 2 weeks recently. She had never stayed in kennels before so we were a bit nervous… but we shouldn’t have been. Alan and his staff looked after her really well, put us totally at ease when we dropped her off and when we went back to drop off some extra tablets for her that she takes daily, Alan had mentioned that he was due to phone as he knew she was running out. That made us feel very secure knowing that he was keeping on top of her medicine. She got a wee bath before coming home too. The online booking system is really easy and simple to use. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be booking Koda back in next time we go away!

This was the first time leaving our 1 year old Cockapoo, Arthur, in a pet accommodation setting. The booking process was very easy and it’s not too far outside Glasgow by the M77. When we picked up Arthur, he smelled so nice and was really happy. I will definitely be using this service again as it was straight forward and we received a great service.

Our Golden Doodle Finlay had a few days stay at Best Friends in May. It was his first time there but we will definitely be back. Alan was so friendly and welcoming and Finlay obviously had a great stay. He even had a bath before we picked him up and left with a few treats to take away.
Our Jack Russel loves her walks with Calvin. She gets super excited when he picks her up. And he takes her good long walks. Highly Recomend Him.
I never leave reviews but I booked my dog to stay for 1 week over Christmas. When he arrived he was 12.3kg he got weighed the day at the vets 2 days before he arrived. When my husband picked him up he was very skinny and lethargic. We took him to the vets to get him checked who confirmed he was 10.4kg and lost 15% of his body weight in 1 week. This resulted in his liver beginning to shut down. Now I can't say why this happened but I did expect to be notified that my dog wasn't eating or was losing weight before their eyes. Communication was very 1 sided, I always got a short reply but never very detailed & certainly no pictures. My dog is fine now but I cant say I would use this service again
Having never boarded my dog before I was anxious about leaving him and looked into a variety of options. What made me decide on Craigton was kind and caring attitude from Christine from the very start of the process. She took time to answer all my questions (there were plenty) replied to any further questions in a timely fashion. Booking in paperwork was detailed and included information on feeding)times, favourite treats etc as well as the usual booking in/out times. During our time away, we received several pictures and a video showing our boy having a great time. Although not expected it was definitely a lovely touch.
Couldn't be more helpful went to chose a kitten for my daughter and was made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Top marks for support and help choosing our new baby. I couldn't have found a better person to help make my girl happy again after losing our cat Azura to feline leukaemia. Thanks for everything Christine. Xx
I was hoping to find as advertised a ‘home from home’ boarding for my girl but unfortunately I was greatly mistaken. Its not in my nature to leave negative reviews but I feel compelled too after being so let down. We booked our dog in for an overnight trial stay for the first time. As well as receiving no picture updates as planned, my messages were read but ignored regarding how she was doing/what time I may finish/bank details. After finishing work I went to collect her straight away and to my surprise there was nobody in. I gave Christine a call to say I had arrived for her to tell me she was in “Tesco’s” and would be “at least another hour. At no point was I told set times for picking her up and I checked the emailed documentation to verify this. She had already been made aware my shift at work could have finished at any given time and so it should have been communicated to me when she would/wouldn’t be in. Despite being very polite on the phone, she proceeded to tell me that “she had a life as well” and that I would just have to wait for her to return whenever that would be. It had never crossed my mind that whilst paying for a ‘Home from Home’ boarding service, the dogs would be put out together in a small outside kennel in the freezing cold under absolutely no surveillance and with nobody on premises. Unfortunately this was the case. Not only could there have been incidents with collars getting caught on the cage/dogs potentially fighting but also a huge lack of security. Another lady arrived to collect her dogs and was also shocked. It should have been communicated that our dogs would be left unattended for any period of time in the day outside and not be advertised as ‘home from home’ boarding when kennels are involved. Over an hour later, Christine arrived. She was unaware of what belongings my dog had and everything felt unprofessional. So disappointed.
Great experience and dog came home happy and healthy so thank you. It was his first boarding and 10 days flew by for him. Just about to book again for the summer if there is space.
I had to book my dogs in at short notice due to a family bereavement. At point of booking we hadn't totally confirmed day for funeral and they said that they'd extend if I needed. Asked for my preference in how my dogs would want, I suggested our old boy would probably enjoy the respite from the pup and lab. They're also closely bonded and pup would've struggled without lab. I collected them this afternoon , no "kennel" smell, happy and I think the Daschund pup has put on a bit of weight due to more actual food and less eating of stolen pants! We got home and they settled into their snoozing spots happily showing no signs of stress. It was my first time leaving my dogs and under very emotional circumstances but I would recommend and will use again.
Our two wee dogs always go here & always come home happy! The kennels themselves are older buildings, it's a family run business and they really care about the dogs.
We left our cat Zak here 2 times last year. I must say he was well looked after & was a happy cat when we picked him up from the cattery after our holiday.. I would highly recommend boarding for your cat.. He is going back in next week for 1 week...
Superb kennel on the outskirts of Glasgow/Paisley. Approx 25mins from Ruchill, so easily reachable from the entire city and surrounding areas. Prices are reasonable per night and include food, although you can bring your own if your dog has a particular requirement. Pets are walked daily, and groomed on final day - which is a nice touch. Queen loves coming here; she has separation issues when I leave her at home, but bring her here, each time she pulls once to come with me, then I am forgotten about as she pulls to go inside for sniffs and sniffs, and to say hello to the other dogs. Repeat customer, which I think says it all!

Hector spent 2 weeks here and was so well cared for. You can tell they really care for the animals as whenever I take Hector here he runs to the girls for hugs. He came home all freshly bathed. Would recommend these kennels for your fur babies
Our dog Harris has been to Levernbank Kennels on a few stays. It is straightforward to book in the time. All the staff are really friendly and you can see that they all love working with the dogs. Harris loves spending time here. I would highly recommend this kennel for your dog
I put my dog in for 3 day visits and 3 overnight stays prior to leaving him for 17 days so i could go on holiday to get used to the surroundings smells and routine etc of the kennels. My dog is still a pup at almost 1yr old and is a large dog breed and was extremely fit physicaly prior to going in for that length of time. I was assured the dogs get taken out and get some play time with throwing a ball for them and walks? I even called for an update whilst on holiday even though i didnt ask about his eating they emphasized he was eating fine and has a great appetite? When picking up my dog he was a shell of the way he looked before leaving him. His ribs,hips, spine are all showing now and lost a considerable amount of weight i was in complete shock and hit me in different stages throughout the day. I even had to put my dog in my car with no leash or harness as that got lost with staff members but later on returned to me. I know my dog must have missed me terribly like i did him but if i was informed my dog wasnt eating properly i would have returned home instantly i have that kind of commitment to my animal. There was no communication to let me know he must have been traumatised and not eating that was evident on pick up. Again on pick up a staff member said hes been eating great and i know for a fact thats not been the case i will not be using these kennels again
I have been using these kennels for my beautiful dog but you can also leave your kitty with them.Great service, friendly staff. Also easy to find and most importantly Rita looks well taken care of.
I have so many nice things to say about my experience with this kennel. We managed to get a space during a busy summer period for which I was so grateful. The kennel is clean and welcoming, and the staff friendly and helpful. When i went to collect my dog I was reassured with how comfortable he seemed with the staff, and their natural manner with him. I feel so happy with the service provided here and would use Levernbank again in a heartbeat- thank you!
