This is Linda and Tony’s second sit for us. And, our experience was just as good as the first sit. They are lovely people, and totally spoiled our feline. Also, as a bonus, the house was left in perfect condition. Highly recommend them, but you better book in advance!! They’re busy.
It was great having Nicole as a dog sitter. She is very responsible and conscientious, and is a warm and caring person. She took excellent care of my dog and house. Also, even watered my plants! I came home to a clean house, which is always much appreciated. I would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter, and would enjoy having her pet sit again.
Carly was AMAZING! This was my first time using this service and everything seemed too good to be true - well it's true! Carly and I had a phone call first to discuss everything about my dog, Tyson, and she was very thoughtful in the questions she asked. I appreciated her consistent communication for the three days she was petsitting. Every morning I received pictures & videos of Tyson. I also received some glamour shots of them together in the park. He's very introverted and received Carly without any issues! I'm so thankful for this service and the hospitality/care that Carly took with Tyson and my property. If Carly requests to pet sit - DO IT!
Channing was AMAZING!! She took excellent care of our three fur babies. While we were gone, one of our kitties wasn’t feeling well and Channing handled it like a pro! She was communicative, flexible, and kind. 10/10 would recommend.
We were fortunate enough to spend 2 weeks looking after Casper, Tasha, Tilly, Turi and Marmite. Lynda and Dave are great, they are really hospitable and friendly people and communicating with them throughout has been very easy. We spent the first night with them and Nico cooked us a lovely meal and they were able to show us the pets routine which was very helpful. The house is beautiful and clean with lots of land making exercising the dogs very easy. The area is lovely and we enjoyed going to the local pub. We absolutely fell in love with all the pets, they are all so loving and easy-going and loved to cuddle up with us on the sofa at night. We did have our own dog with us (who can be annoying!) but all the other dogs seem to welcome him into the group. We had a really great sit and loved meeting Lynda, Dave and Nico and we hope to be back! Angelica & Keir (+ Noah!)
The sitting was comfortable and pleasant. Cats are super curious and smart. They love play, cuddle and kisses. Tortoise and Parrot are more independent, they need fresh water and food. It was easy communicate with owners. In August it was hot weather but Joanna prepared for us fans. Also pool can make you feel better. We recommend this sitting.
We really enjoyed our stay with Kedi, he is such a sweet and playful boy who loves playing with his toys and enjoying his home comforts. Kedi is so easy to look after and even easier to fall in love with. This boy melted our hearts with his cute face Purring to wake us up in the mornings, and his cheeky playful personality had us laughing a lot. Kedi definitely has character. Chris was a fantastic host, extremely helpful and informative. We felt very welcome upon arrival and communication was spot on through out our stay. His lovely home was comfortable and clean and in a perfect location for all the amazing things Brighton has to offer. We would highly recommend Chris and Kedi 💙
Jo and Graham along with Archie and Clemmie live in a beautiful home in a quite location. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and given a comprehensive tour which always makes things easier. The house is warm and comfortable and the bed we slept in was a dose of anaesthetic every night! Jeff and Nige the puppy were an absolute delight, well behaved but great fun at the same time, they certainly kept us amused over Christmas! A lovely family who obviously care deeply for Jeff and Nige and we would highly recommend a stay to look after them both.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this beautiful house with five fabulous dogs. The dogs were a joy to be with from the start and I loved discovering each of their individual characters more each day. They are all brilliant - so loving and affectionate and also made me laugh regularly with their routines of bringing me shoes and toys or falling asleep in funny positions. I shed a tear saying goodbye to them and miss them. I haven't looked after a pack of 5 before but it was pretty straightforward as they all know the routines and I didn't need to take them off the property as there are lots of different areas to walk them through the fields and woods. Holly was warm and clear in all her communications from the start, taking time to give me a good sense of what my time there might be like and to answer my questions. She and the dogs provided a lovely warm welcome and it was great to have an evening with the family before they set off. Holly said she wanted me to feel at home while I was there which I absolutely did. The house is beautiful and I was really comfy in the lovely guest bedroom and I spent most of my time in the gorgeous country kitchen. Lovely housesit and I'd really recommend.
We had a great stay at Julia’s house! Dolly and Pip are great little characters and we all adored them! It is a beautiful area of the country to stay, with lots of nice walks an pretty little villages to visit, and good pubs to stop in afterwards. Dolly and Pip were great companions for our days out. The house and garden are large and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and Julia made us feel very welcome. Thank you very much Julia!

Warren will wait up by the window for Kristen or Michael to come every morning - tail waggin a million miles an hour and whimpering from excitement. Molly and her team at Doggy Lama are the best! Our dog Toby always returns from his off-leash walks with Jordan having had lots of fun with his pack buds and tuckered out. It’s been a huge relief to know Toby is getting the exercise and stimulation he needs, especially during the work week when we can’t provide that for him to this level. This team is also amazing at communication, from day-of logistics to general awareness of seasonal considerations on the trail.

Everyone at Doggy Lama has been so good to my pup, Rosie, since I adopted her over a year ago. Rosie has arthritis so Dorothy takes her to the park to sniff about at her own pace or just lay in the sun. Kasper and I we both LOVE Doggy Lama; obviously for different reasons - Kasper loves the walks, treats and keeping his brain working while practicing recall on every walk. I love it that the Doggy Lama team is super reliable and feels like extended family. After I broke my foot they were able to immediately schedule Kasper for walks every day so I was able to rest. Lisa was fabulous with my 3 kitties. Not only did she take care of their physical needs while I was overseas for 2+ weeks, she took care of their emotional needs as well. The daily communications helped to alleviate my anxiety at leaving them and the daily photos showed how comfortable they were with her. Lisa was a very responsible and caring bird sitter. She played music and talked to each one when she came each day. She wrote up very detailed reports which made me feel relaxed to leave my flock in her care. My birds were calm and happy when I returned.
Lisa was wonderful at taking care of our two cats while we were away for a 2week+ trip abroad last year. Lisa was our cat’s sitter for many many years. She is extremely dedicated, thoughtful and caring. She accommodated Amelia’s changing needs throughout her life. Although our sweet cat has passed on now, we highly recommend Lisa’s services, and once our current Covid situation is over we are planning to use her services again for our two new young cats.

Lisa is a great cat sitter - I feel 100% comfortable leaving my cat in her care. When my previous cat sitter moved suddenly, Lisa was able to watch my cat over Christmas with very short notice. We have used her exclusively since then and she is very accommodating and flexible. Our cat is older and set in her ways but she warmed up to Lisa and was sitting in her lap in no time - you can tell that she really knows and cares about animals. Lisa always sends pics and updates and is really great about clarifying any changes and letting us know if she notices anything that may be out of the ordinary.

We've organized our cat sitting through the Comforted Kitty for several years now, and we have absolutely loved our experience. Our main cat sitter, Emily, has taken such excellent care of our two cats over all that time. Both of our furballs are pretty shy and hesitant to come out of hiding spots, and Emily's patience and consideration has slowly brought them out of their shell. They now get some pets and play time (in addition to food/water/clean litter box/cleaned pet messes, etc) every day when we travel! We especially love Emily's daily email updates and photos, which are always so chock-full of thoughtful details about our cats' wellbeing. We often find ourselves sharing Emily's photos with our friends/family while traveling; we especially love the action shots of our cats' play time!
Lloyd K. is the best cat sitter we have ever had!! He is incredibly respectful, kind, and communicative. He took amazing care of our two kitties - going above and beyond with daily updates and pictures on how they were doing as well as providing us comfort that he would be there on the off chance our holiday travels were delayed. He really considers each cat’s needs and capacities. He gave our more friendly cat lots of pets and play time, while also caring for and respecting the boundaries of our more shy and nervous kitty. He was so amazing that our shy kitty ended up coming out and hanging out around Lloyd (something that has never happened before with any of our other sitters!!). My husband and I highly recommend Lloyd! We also had a very easy time navigating the Comforted Kitty website and putting in a request for cat sitting.

My cat was very comfortable spending time with Marilee, she was able to administer insulin doses at every visit and sent me photos and videos to update me on how things were going. I'm extremely happy with the catsitting service that The Comforted Kitty provided and I would recommend booking with this company. This was my first time booking a catsitting service for my cats since I usually have friends/family take care of them, so I was nervous but The Comforted Kitty did not disappoint. Our catsitter was Moira and she took great care of my cats like they were her own. Moira was responsive and professional, she was so friendly and lovely with my cats. I provided her with as much information as possible and also left instructions, she was very receptive and responsive to everything, and ensured that my cats were well taken care of. She provided me with daily updates and photos/videos of my cats during her visits which I greatly appreciated because I missed them so much. We boarded our two year old rescue pup while we went to Vegas. The beginning was rough for our doggy because she was in a new environment and has anxiety. Namrata worked with her tirelessly, and after the first night, she was doing so much better. Namrata sent us updates, pictures and videos and set our minds at ease. This is the first time we’d used a boarding service and we will be returning whenever we need puppy care. Her rates are reasonable and the dogs have free access to the backyard as well as regular walks. We are very happy customers.

Namrata has taken care of Millie (my 3 year old doodle) for both dog day care and dog boarding. I have been dropping Millie off with her and her family since September 2023. Millie is always excited to see her when I drop her off. Namrata is very responsive and always provides picture updates. Her son and Millie have become best friends. I am so happy that I have found an amazing dog sitter for day care and dog boarding. This lets me go on my trips and into the office without worrying about her. We have been very pleased with Happy Pets. She is very organized, and quick to answer by text for bookings, pick up time, etc. She will forward pictures to you during the time you are away from your dog if you request, and our small dog, Lola has always seen very well cared for. Lola can be temperamental, and whiny, and may not be the easiest dog to take care of, but Happy Pets has always done a great job of providing great care for Lola and understanding she is who she is.
Namrata did a great job boarding our 5.5 year old Jindo. She sent pictures and updates every day, making us feel comfortable being away from our pup. We would happily board our dog with Namrata again :)
Happy pets dog boarding is amazing!! They take the best care of my dog - lots of attention and walks and love. I can tell that my dog loves going there and it gives me great peace of mind to know that my dog is so well taken care of when I am out of town. Namrata and her family took such great care of my dog Allie for one month. My initial plans for a dog sitter unexpectedly fell through, but on very short notice (just a few days) I was able to find Namrata who thankfully was able to take care of Allie for the whole month. I received photos and video and it was clear that Namrata, her family and her dog Albus were bonding with Allie and that she was very well taken care of. Robbee has been our dog walker for 2.5 years, and our dog Winston absolutely loves her! She is kind, caring, and wonderful with communication. She truly cares about the pets she takes care of. You can find someone to walk your furry family member, sure, but there is a huge difference between someone walking them versus offering a full-service package. Someone who is knowledgeable, experienced, and skilled with a variety of pets. Robbee provides the full-service package. She skillfully and carefully plans out dates and times to take your furry family members out and alerts you when she notices any changes in behavior or health. She makes sure to keep you updated on weather conditions and changes in walking schedules and even has backup help if she may be out of town or unavailable on your regular walking days. Robbee prioritizes safety for your furry family member and even shares recommendations based on your furry family member's specific needs, such as sunscreen for our shorthair or a more secure and comfortable collar. She's flexible when your dates or availability may change and works with you to ensure the best client experience. Robbee has gone above and beyond with her level of care and attentiveness to our dog, Winston. There have been times when we needed someone to host him and we couldn't find someone available to host only one dog during that timeline. She sent several recommendations and even reached out to others in her network to find someone to host; she would have hosted him herself, but Winston, unfortunately, is not good with other dogs. We have been utilizing pet care services for the last 8 months and are very happy! Robbee is very organized and makes sure that a vet service is know, medications, next-of-kin, duplicate keys, everything is considered. It’s so nice to have a professional who knows animals well care for our pet when we are traveling. While also taking great care of our pet, great care is also taken with our home and any issues that may arise. We had an ant situation that was quickly remedied, and we really appreciated that! Robbee also helps out with bins on garbage day and takes care in our house by wearing shoe covers. It’s the small details that really help! Robbee is also great in communicating and quick to respond. Recommend this pet care company!
I seldom gush in reviews, but Robbee has been absolutely instrumental in our lives. Both my husband and I travel waaaayyyy too much, and Robbee has been there, every time, for ten years. She has taken care of all our cats, including three elderly cats that needed extra care and medications. She ensures from the get go that she knows the details of each pet, age, medical issues and what kind of vet care you would want if she finds a pet sick on her visits and can’t immediately reach you. On a few occasions over the years, she has noticed potential security issues with the house and has contacted us to discuss. She has assisted me by scooping litter while I recovered from two surgeries, which gave me the chance to see the delight in her face when one of our foster fail kitten scampered over to get pets from her.
Robbee and her team are so wonderful in watching our 16 year old kitties on our numerous trips. We have been using them since we brought them home when they were 6 months old. They are always accommodating to our schedule. The numerous notes I leave about what is going on with them are always followed. I am lucky enough to be able to say I have been a client of Get Out of Town! for nearly 16 years, almost since it started. Prior to that, I used a couple of different pet sitters who were fine, but it wasn't until I moved to the East Bay and discovered Robbee and her company that I experienced truly exceptional care for my animals. I am now spoiled by Get Out of Town! Leaving my pets, especially for my family's two-week annual vacation, is hard and stressful and I'm grateful I know I never have to worry when they are under Robbee and her team's care. The cat I had when I first started engaging Get Out of Town! had diabetes, and it was critical that she received two shots of insulin at the same times each day. Robbee was more than reliable and instrumental in that care when I couldn't be home to administer the shots. Her notes, the photos of my cats she texts to me when I'm away, and her willingness to assist with other tasks like bringing in the mail, watering plants, putting trash cans in/out, are all super helpful. If it's not already obvious, I cannot recommend Get Out of Town! highly enough.

Kaellyn has been taking our dog on hikes for the past five months, after I met her in a park and noticed what a pro she was and how calm and well-behaved her pack of dogs was. Our Poppy is a bit anxious and doesn’t like to be separated from us. Kaellyn very patiently spent a few weeks taking her on solo walks, letting Poppy get to know her gradually. Now when Kaellyn comes to the door she and Poppy have a big love fest, and Poppy is excited to get in the car to hike with her pack. Kaellyn really understands Poppy’s quirks and works really effectively with her. Kaellyn is also very clear and professional in how she runs her business. There’s never any doubt of what’s expected on both sides. We trust her completely and are thrilled to have found her.
Kaellyn has been our dog walker for over 7 years. Our girl Maddie is absolutely crazy about her, but what I really appreciate is Kaellyn's skill and professionalism. Maddie ain't the easiest dog in the world to deal with, but the videos and updates I often got from Kaellyn showed us just how well she was able to teach and handle Maddie to get her integrated into the pack. Kaellyn was also proactive in her communication with us around both logistics and updates on Maddie. HIGHLY recommended!
Kaellynn has been watching over my three black cats for eight years when I travel. I always arrive home to contented cats; if anything they're somewhat disappointed that it's only me and not Kaellynn. Some of my favorite pictures of my cats were taken by her - they clearly adore her. Kaellynn has also watched over the house. She's handled extended power outages, errant burglar alarms, heavy smoke and other unexpected events above and beyond anything I could have asked. One of the things that impressed me all those years ago when I first met Kaellyn is that she said "this is my business". She takes a very professional approach. She's dependable. She communicates clearly and often. I had other cat sitters before, but none as truly special.
We hired Kaellyn back in April to walk our (then) 13 week-old Goldendoodle puppy to train him to be able to go on her "pack hikes." He quickly got up to speed and was able to join her group hikes 2-3x a week until we moved away from the Bay Area in July. Kaellyn taught me SO much about training and understanding dogs - she truly is a dog whisperer. Her approach worked so well with Lucky that we regretted spending $$$ on group training classes because Kaellyn really was the one who made him the dog he has become - a loving, well-socialized and adaptable boy. Through her hikes and her attention, he became so well-adapted that he had zero issues when we moved across the world to Vienna, Austria in August! I also agree with the other reviewers that Kaellyn is a sound businesswoman as well, incredibly organized, thoughtful and dependable. If we could beam her to Austria, we 100% would!!! She's second to none.
We hired Kaellyn because we needed someone to walk our dog once a day because we both work full time. What we got was so much more than exercise for Bodi. Kaellyn has performed miracles, and has transformed our energetic, sometimes out of control, young dog into a secure, well-behaved dog who listens to what we have to say, and responds appropriately. And I am convinced Bodi is much happier than before, when he did not always know what was wanted or expected of him. Kaellyn helped Bodi understand what was wanted and expected of him in terms of obedience and behavior, and helped us to communicate that clearly to Bodi as well. This consistency allowed our dog succeed, which seems to have produced a happier and more confident dog. Kaellyn cares incredibly about the dogs in her charge and is a hard worker. I recommend her strongly.
Kaellyn is a fantastic dog walker! Kaellyn is super organized, 100% reliable, very dedicated and, best of all, very loving with all the dogs. She provides clear information and expectations. Is always interested in feedback. Writes regular updates and sends pictures and videos of the pack walks my dog attends. She is patient with my dogs issues and always attentive to her needs while balancing the needs of the pack. Highly recommend her!
We met K Lynn when we were walking our two black labs around the neighborhood. The dogs immediately fell in love with her, and she was great with them. Her pack hikes are a treat and a terrific work out for them, and K Lynn always leaves us news about how the dogs did, and any issues that come up. She also emails videos and photos so you get to see your dog(s) on the trail and with the pack. K Lynn clearly loves her work, and knows a lot about training. She gave us the BEST ADVICE we ever received about how to get our younger lab to stop submissive peeing -- her tip worked immediately, and we had tried all kinds of tactics. K Lynn is also an excellent communicator and a very organized businesswoman. Her policies and prices are clear and fair. If you use her, your dogs will love you (and her) for it!
We are very happy with Kaellyn. Our schedules are variable, but Kaellyn has been more than willing to walk our puppy on the days we need. We use a Google calendar to make sure no dates are missed. Ralphie loves the exercise and benefits from the social aspect of the pack hikes. Kaellyn is also great at giving us suggestions such as cutting his paws short during foxtail season or getting a rain jacket for him during rainy season. She does her best to clean off Ralphie before dropping him off, and will let us know if there's anything we need to worry about like ticks on the trail.
Kaellyn has been taking care of our Aussie pup since she was just a few months old. Kaellyn is extremely responsible and focused on making sure our pup gets exercised, is safe on pack walks, and has a great time with the other dogs. Our dog loves Kaellyn and the walks, and is thriving under her care. I can't recommend her strongly enough.
Our dog Lucy has been hiking with Kaellyn 3 times a week for about 6 months now and the experience has been great. Kaellyn is a true dog expert and works regularly on training our dog while hiking. Lucy has been noticeably more well behaved and relaxed around our apartment since she started working with Kaellyn. Kaellyn is also great for us to work with as she is extremely flexible and communicative. I would highly recommend using her services.
Jim and Benny are like family to us. I wouldn't have been able to have raised this pup (Robbie) without them. From the very beginning they invested in his well-being and social, physical, and mental growth. He learned to swim at their cabin in the Russian River Valley and made lifelong friends at Alamo that I'm sure he misses quite a bit now that we've moved out of San Francisco. It's really challenging finding a place for pups to interact in a safe and fun environment, especially off-leash. Robbie is one of the most friendly and well-behaved pups in our neighborhood, which we owe in large part to Jim, Benny, and Tom for caring for him day after day while we were working. The Sniff San Francisco team are truly my partners when it comes to taking care of my 2+ year-old Cavapoo, Lola. She joined the Sniff "puppy head start" program at 10 weeks, and has been walking, playing and boarding with Jim and Benny, and their excellent, attentive and loving team ever since. During her time in puppy head start, the Sniff team got Lola used to the sights and sounds of the city, exposed her to plenty of people and dogs, and taught her foundational commands, which they continue to practice with her. They have been especially thoughtful in their approach to getting her to play with the other dogs in her pack since she can be a bit reserved. The entire Sniff team has been so loving and sweet to Lola, from her longtime walkers, Sabrina and Devin, to newer pals like Tom and Eleanor. Jim, Benny, and team are knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to understanding Lola, making her feel safe, and making sure she is safe. Finally, Jim, Benny and team are excellent and diligent communicators. I appreciate their updates and informative texts. The photos and videos they share of Lola zooming, playing with other dogs (or Sabrina's hands), or being serenaded by Jim always make my day. I highly recommend working with the Sniff SF team. They are THE BEST!
There are no better dog walkers in San Francisco. I've been with Jim and Benny since very early on, and they have just been wonderful to my dog. My dog is a little over 12 years old, and he is in phenomenal shape, due almost entirely to the attention of Sniff. He has little to no arthritis, his eyes are great, and just recently I completed a hike of the Lost Coast with him in two days, which is a 25 mile beach hike. That's insane. He is also more people oriented than dog oriented, and needed some behavior modification for being a jerk to other dogs in the beginning, and Sniff were able to quickly iron it out and make him a more tolerant member of the pack. They also made him an incredible leash walker. He wasn't terrible to start with, but he wasn't good. He is such a cordial leash walker now. I miss them. We moved to Spain, which is exciting and wonderful, but I always knew that my dog was getting a huge amount of exercise and attention while I was at work in SF when Sniff came by. It'll be hard to measure up out here. Like everyone else, I'm so glad I found them.
We can't say enough amazing things about Sniff. Roo has been part of their pack for a year and a half and we've been so impressed by the level of care. Not only does she have a great time and get in a ton of exercise (as we get to watch every day on Sniff's IG Stories), but we've also seen so much behavioral improvement thanks to the Sniff team's dedicated training. They genuinely love and care for each dog, and have been an amazing support system - they went above and beyond when Roo was experiencing some scary health issues. We take so much comfort in knowing that Roo is in amazing hands whether it's during her weekday walks or boarding at Chez Sniff while we're out of town. Thank you to Benny, Jim, Dan, Ben and the whole Sniff crew!
I highly recommend Sniff–my dog and I love them. My dog is picked up by his regular dog walker 5 days a week and walked to a park where he plays with similarly sized dogs in his play group, and then walked home. So, no car pick ups where the dogs might fight, and no risk of carjacking with precious cargo inside. Jim and Benny are the owners of the business and they are the kindest, nicest people, plus, they love dogs! They are extremely careful about who they hire to help handle the dogs, and treat their employees with respect (the staff receive paid time off and benefits.) I receive a daily report re my dog’s play session–who he played with, his mood and activity level, how his potty was, and any behavioral issues. The Sniff team posts adorable daily Instagram videos of the dogs at play, which always make me smile. My dog started off in Sniff’s “puppy prep” program, where Jim and/or Benny have one on one time with the puppy, training the dog leash manners and recall, and exposing the puppy to all sorts of city distractions–Muni, trucks, other dogs, toddlers, skateboarders and strangers. My dog has learned important dog skills through Sniff–how to meet and greet other dogs, how to indicate willingness and unwillingness to play, and rock solid recall. When my dog was two years old, he started being leash reactive, and Jim took us on a walk to show me how to make my dog less fearful. When I travel, I know I can board my dog with Jim and Benny, and he will be a happy pup. The most important thing is that I know my dog is loved and well cared for when he is with Sniff.
We have nothing but great things to say about the team at Sniff. Jim & Benny (the owners) were great from the get-go. We needed walkers for our mini dachshund, Juna, and searched high & low for a team that would provide the utmost level of care for our dog - who doesn't want that for their fur child?!? They were extremely responsive from the beginning: asking a lot of questions during the initial meet & greet and showed a high level of engagement in Juna. They went beyond just being dog walkers and worked with her (and us) to work through some of her anxieties to make her a much more confident and happy dog overall. One of the team members, Ben, was often the one to pick Juna up and whenever he would come and we were home, it was clear how much Juna would light up at the sight of him and say "C'YA DADS!! Time to go have fun with my friends!". Ben, along with the whole team, sent detailed updates of the adventures every day, with pick up and drop off notifications in addition to fun notes about the play session for the day. Sidenote - they go around and pick up all dogs on foot, walk them to a dog park where they meet up with the other team members, and then let all dogs in their pack interact and play with each other and the Sniff team members, and then walk them back home. And they do that for two groups a day. They must walk a million miles everyday - I don't know how they do it!! The nice thing is it's the best of both worlds - your dog gets an on leash walk, along with group socialization at the park. Jim & Benny also boarded Juna and would sent great updates but we were so comfortable it was like leaving her with family. They would take her on adventures to the beach, even I was jealous! They also helped us out a few times we were in a pinch for care - such as taking her for the whole day when she needed to be out of our home for service folks, etc - and were very accommodating in that regard. I could go on and on about how great they are. Unfortunately, we moved to an area of the city where they can't service; I guess they can only walk so far in a day ;) All jokes aside, we were very sad to have to leave them behind as Juna's caretakers, but very highly recommend them to anyone needing dog walking services.
We could not recommend Sniff SF enough! They treat our dog as if she is their own. Every day we receive a friendly, thoughtful and detailed review of how her day went at "school". The entire team has been instrumental in training our puppy to be the happiest and well mannered dog we could ask for. Every morning she waits by the door for her pickup and returns home tired and happy. We can see exactly where she is in real time with their Instagram updates and we love watching her play every day. We've left our dog to board with Jim and Benny at their home on many occasions and never have to worry about how she's doing. They send regular updates with pictures and video to show us all of the fun activities she's doing while we're away. They've taken her swimming, hiking and even on vacation with them. We've started to think our dog enjoys staying with them more than with us! Sniff SF has become part of our family and we don't know what we would do without them. If you're looking for a dog walker, they are the best!!
We love Sniff! They were a second family for our dog, Figg, for the past 3 years and treated her like one of their own. This was true for every single walker that took her to the park (shoutout to Sabrina, Melissa, True, and Eleanor) and with Jim and Benny, who boarded her over long weekends. The Sniff folks go above and beyond, catering the daily sessions to each dog’s needs. Most days they would encourage Figg to play with all her pals; but when she was feeling overwhelmed, they would spend the session cuddling and showering her with love. We have never seen her more excited to see other humans, than when she sees a Sniff walker or Jim and Benny in “the wild”. On top of the daily outings, weekend stays with Sniff were a vacation—they took her to the beach or hiking every day and even bathed her before bringing her home. Lastly, when we started struggling with leash reactivity, Jim, Benny, and Sabrina immediately jumped on the phone with us and set up a training session. Sniff played a pivotal role in raising our pup to be such an affectionate and sweet gal. Plus, never having to worry while we were away was a godsend. We moved out of their service area, otherwise we never would have left the Sniff family!
I have had a wonderful experience working with all members of the Sniff team who have provided outstanding care for my one year old golden retriever, Frankie since I got him at three months old. The level of care, detail, and expertise of their services is unmatched! I highly recommend for dogs of any age and as to the substantial training and guidance I received for puppy care. They are wonderful people who love each of their pups!
We would give Jim, Benny, and the entire Sniff Team a million stars if we could. Our extremely active mini poodle has been with Sniff since he was 4 months old, and Sniff has been a total godsend--from walks, to last-minute dog-sitting, to the most luxurious boarding experience (truly "the happiest place on Earth" for our dog). We have been so impressed by the Sniff team's professionalism, customer service, and--above all--the way they always put our dog's health and safety first. Jim and Benny are incredibly knowledgeable about dog behavior and require their walkers to identify and help dogs through problematic behaviors. We have had several different walkers, and they've all been great because Jim and Benny hold their team to very high standards. The Sniff team has gone above and beyond to spend time teaching us critical strategies for improving our dog's recall and tackling his leash reactivity. Jim even came over to show us how to build our dog's confidence on walks so he didn't become reactive. The Sniff model is truly a unique service. We love that our dog gets an amazing workout each weekday to-and-from and at the park and is so well socialized to other dogs, humans, and all sorts of urban conditions. We get detailed daily updates and tons of videos/photos. We feel completely at ease that our dog is with his absolute favorite humans when we are away, whether for half a day or two weeks--this is especially so because our dog is an insanely picky eater, and Sniff is simply a pro about following his diet and being so incredibly patient in coaxing him to eat. On our first long vacation, our dog also got very sick, and Sniff took him to our vet. On weekends, Sniff always takes the dogs out for a fun activity (hiking, beach, river). If you go with Sniff, the only thing you might regret is that they become your dog's favorite humans.
Jenny was a lifesaver when we were re-homing an elderly family member’s dog. We worked with Jenny 5 days/week and she helped us socialize Cashew with new humans and other dogs. We always looked forward to her picking up and dropping off Cashew. She clearly cares a lot about animals and is very responsible with them. It helps if you have a bit of flexibility around timing, as Jenny’s exact schedule can vary given the daily varying needs of clients and pets.
Jenny is so caring and great with animals. She regularly walked our dog bread, and easily accommodated bread’s reactivity with other dogs. I felt like she cared for bread like she was her own dog. Jenny also stayed with bread on numerous occasions. She always left our home cleaner than she found it, and would update us regularly with pictures. Jenny has such a way with animals. I would not hesitate to recommend her. It can be hard to find a person who understands how important your pet is and wants to care for them like you do. Jenny is that person. I wish we could take her with us when we move across country!
Jenny is an amazing cat sitter! We got two kittens in the fall of 2020 so they have grown up to be pandemic hermits. She was very patient in coaxing them to come out and soon enough they were sitting in her lap. Their older sister adores Jenny as well. She was very thorough in her initial interview and is great with communication in scheduling and while we are out of town. She always sends lots of cute photos and gives really good updates. Couldn't recommend her more highly.
Jenny is kind, reliable, and wonderful with our husky. She truly cares about him. We get photos and updates from walks... And she spoils him rotten - got him lots of toys at Christmas time. If you're looking for a pet sitter, look no further. 🙂 …
Jenny has been walking our dog Oliver a few times a week for several months now, and we could not be happier. She is very reliable, rain or shine, and, most importantly, seems to genuinely love working with our dog. She has a huge heart for animals! My Hugo adored Jenny - he was always so excited to see her. She was great to work with for me as well and always did her best to help out, even with last minute requests. She was great with communication and sent many sweet videos of their games off fetch or playing at the beach or park. I was so sad when we moved away from her area and Hugo would no longer have the outlet of his walks and play sessions with Jenny.
Jenny is very good with animals and super compassionate. She's taken great care of our beloved cats Nefertiti and Georges. She was very kind and sympathetic when Georges passed away at 18 years. We don't worry when Jenny's at the helm. ☺️
Jenny has been taking my high-energy husky/pit mix on “pack adventures” for 5 months now. Nala LOVES Jenny, and I know the adoration is reciprocated. I have especially appreciated Jenny’s creative problem solving and ability to adjust when my pup got a little too rambunctious with another pack member. She makes return to work much less stressful!
You can always tell that your dog is in good hands by the way they react! Halo is always so excited to see Jenny when she arrives! She has been such a huge help in my life...I highly recommend her!
