We're just back from a brilliant 10 day stay at Sarah and Will's home in Borgue. We absolutely loved our time with their 3 dogs who were an absolute delight! Hettie loved a snuggle on the couch, Peigi loved her dips in the sea and then drying in front of the fire, and wee Dougal loved a game of fetch, and generally causing havoc haha. They were great on walks, and we took them to the beach every day. The cats kept us company in the evenings and pip in particular loved a snuggle. We had a lovely lunch at the Borgue Hotel, a wee wander round Kirkcudbright, as well as a nice walk around threave Castle. Sarah and Will were so welcoming and friendly, and responsive to messages when I had some queries about the animals. We'd love to go back and are missing our furry friends already.
Willie was an absolute sweetheart, and stole the hearts of almost everybody that met him. Joe remained super communicative throughout, and appreciated my frequent updates on Willie's walks. The apartment is located above a street of restaurants in SF, so you'd have access to great food right at your doorsteps. But that also means the smell and some noise that comes with living so close to them. The area is super commutable by public transport and very walkable.
Colette was kind, and easy to communicate with. The apartment is great with all the basics you need for a comfy stay, close to transport and amenities, and lovely little cafes. And don't get me started on Diesel! What a snuggle bug, he's so sweet. He's a Frenchie through and through and can be a little stubborn but he'll win your heart over with his kisses and sweet loving companionship. His routine is easy and if you follow Colette's instructions you'll have no issues whatsoever. Thanks again for a wonderful sit!
Gail and Matt were very gracious hosts, everything was clear as far as instructions, etc.... Pete is such a wonderful cat, what a huge personality :-) Loves being chased, and gives you little kisses on the nose. Highly recommended!!
Jaye, Tom and the boys are a delightful family who were a joy to meet. There house is beautiful and really comfortable. Teddy and biscuit are the easiest dogs we have ever had the pleasure of looking after, we totally fell in love with them. We would definitely housesit here again. We had a fabulous stay.
We had a wonderful time at Laurel and Alex's beautiful home in Tuscon looking after Alfred and Sparkle. Alfred is a super-cute, loving bundle of energy and we really enjoyed playing with him in the backyard and taking him on walks in the neighbourhood. He is very obedient and used to commands like sit and lie down. Sparkle is a sweet little cat who took a couple of days to warm up to us. Once she had decided we were OK, we were allowed to play with her and pet her. She has the softest fur! Laurel and Alex sent us a great welcome guide with really clear information which was so useful. Their home is very comfortable with a beautiful garden and pool that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks guys, we'd love to sit for you again.
