Housesitting for Denise and Ken was an absolute pleasure. We instantly connected with them, had a lot in common including world travel, art, tiling and cooking. We felt so welcomed into their home, we all felt like family or old friends within the first hour of meeting. Their dogs Smitty and Nikki are fantastic, and their home is beautifully decorated and really comfortable, with everything you could practically need. They are in a great location in Albequerque, quiet street, backing onto a huge paddock with views of the sunset and hot air balloons that fly by early in the morning. The dogs are best friends and love to get out for a walk. We highly recommend this wonderful house sit. We exchanged emails with them, with the chance of seeing them soon in Central America.
We had the best time with Louie! He is a real sweetheart! He is curious and independent and takes his medication without a fuss, so that is not a problem at all! Julian and Irulan made us feel welcome and comfortable from the start and their house is just beautiful! Irulan even made some homemade bread for us! They took a lot of time and care to give us great tips on where to go and where to eat which we really appreciated! Irulan also left a very detailled guide for the sit so we felt very well prepared. We took a lot of lovely walks around the area, and can recommend the ice cream shop in the village ;) overall, it was a great experience and we are very grateful!
We had a lovely time dog-sitting Murphy. He's a big sweetheart who likes to cuddle - and is so cute and exuberant on walks! The neighborhood is also wonderful, with Minnehaha Creek so closeby. Stan & Janet are also super nice & communicative!
I had such a great time staying here with Nala! She is such a sweet, good girl. She is great company on hikes, walks, and just being around the house. It’s also such a nice, peaceful home and in a great neighborhood. I’d absolutely stay here again with Nala :)
We absolutely adored this sit! It was so hard to leave. Pamela and Ron were amazing hosts and even took us out to dinner our first evening with them. They are both so sweet and great to talk to and we appreciated their welcoming nature so much. The house is incredible! The view is one we never got tired of and we spent a lot of our time on the back deck; we even spotted some otters, seals, swans, and porpoises. It’s so cozy on the inside and we felt very safe and comfortable at all times. As for Magda…what a sweet, smart, affectionate, and wonderful dog. We enjoyed our walks on the nearby trail, the occasional one on the beach, and seeing how excited she got over carrot treats. At night, she loves to cuddle and watch movies and be pet and is content to lay down wherever you are. She was the perfect companion for this sit and we loved our time with her.
We had a wonderful sit and enjoyed Cambridge and all the historical buildings and lots of museums to explore which were really interesting! We had a punt on the river which was very relaxing . Tony was absolutely gorgeous and soo cute and was very easy to look after . He was so loving and affectionate we were sad to leave him .
