Ameen was the first sitter who got in touch when we put our listing up (within about 10 minutes!) and impressed us straightaway with his keenness and straightforward nature. He responded to messages very quickly, was happy to do a Zoom call before we agreed to him dog sitting and we met him before the sit so he could be introduced to our cockapoo Barney. Throughout the 10-day stay he sent us photo updates on What's App without it feeling like we were being bombarded with photos of our dog or questions about the flat. He arrived (and left!) when he said he would and we came home to a clean flat and a happy dog. Would have no hesitation recommending Ameen.
Pascualina is an absolute gem!!! Watching her was very memorable. Pascualina entertained us throughout the entire month of watching her. She loved to play, especially in boxes and kept accompanying us no matter what we were doing which immediately melted our hearts. She will leave you feeling very loved! Carina and Ismael are a pleasure to interact with. They answered any questions we had quickly and they have a very welcoming home with great amenities. Astoria is the best neighbourhood with delicious food and kind neighbours. We felt grateful to experience it. Thank you, Carina, Ismael and Pascualina!!
We do not recommend housesitting for Tei. Living in the house is challenging already, but Tei’s poor communication, with unspoken expectations and mixed information, made this housesit the only bad one we’ve had out of 17 months of house- and pet-sitting for nine other hosts—now friends—who have all given us 5-star ratings. These are some of the potential challenges you will have to deal with. 1) The house was left very dirty and we spent literally the first week cleaning to get it livable for us. The sink was caked with mildew and filled with dishes that stuck together with mold. The fridge, pantry, and cabinets were full of moldy, rotting and bug-infested food, with no room for our own groceries. Mel emailed Tei that she was going to clean out the rotted food for Tei, who initially apologized for leaving a mess and thanked Mel for dealing with it. We only threw out what had already gone bad, or was going to go bad in the two months Tei was going to be away, and left everything else in the fridge after giving it a thorough cleaning. But Tei later accused us of eating her food and breaking things that we haven’t even seen in the kitchen. The squat toilet also had dried poo and pee to clean off. The wood burning stove is rusting out from the inside and is a potential fire hazard, as are the daisy-chained electrical outlets around the house. The gas burners in the kitchen are also a potential hazard. 2) Tei had asked us in our email communications before the sit even started if we might build/repair the fence during our stay, and we clearly told her that it was beyond our abilities. The fence was still not fixed when we got there, and when Nona escaped the first time after Tei left, we emailed Tei about this and she just said to secure it better, even though we had already told her that we couldn’t fix her fence nor were there tools available for the work. That left us in an unfair position of being responsible for Nona escaping because the fence was in disrepair, though we tried to create a barrier to prevent Nona from getting out. Tei also let Nona off lead all the time even though Nona does not come back when called. On the day Tei left for her trip, Tei took Peter and the dogs to a local lake and let the dogs run loose there. Neither Nona nor Piya returned to the car before Peter had to take Tei to the train station, leaving us in an extremely awkward and anxious situation about the dogs returning. They both did eventually, but Tei had told us that Piya had gone missing for over a month under Tei’s watch previously. We do not recommend letting any of the dogs off lead even if Tei says it is okay because all three dogs, as sweet as they were, do not like to get off the road when cars are coming, even on lead. 3) We were initially told that the bed was big enough for a couple, or that space in her studio can be used as a place to sleep. We were not able to use her studio for more space to sleep because it was being repaired for leaks and was a dirty mess, covered with her art supplies, which we were hesitant to move because we were told by her that the supplies were valuable. The bed she offered was actually a twin size bed that can not hold two people comfortably. There is another twin size bed in another part of the house, but only one mosquito net was made available. We had to burn mosquito coils continuously the entire two months we were there since they would appear as soon as a coil burned out. If you are a couple, expect to potentially sleep apart. One bed is a hard futon and the other bed is a mattress—both will need to be aired out regularly because the house is damp and mildewy. She is a hoarder, so you will have to carefully find space for your things without disturbing her things. We did this as much as we could, but were still accused of breaking or taking things. 4) We had major miscommunication issues over how long we could leave the dogs alone and on the use of the car. I suggest that everything be written down and do not deviate from what is written regardless of what she verbally tells you. Our efforts to clarify the boundaries were met with accusations that were not true. We have always respected and followed the rules left by our hosts, but Tei consistently told us one thing and then denied it later. There were many other issues, but this is too long already. Initially, we didn’t mind all this because Tei is an older woman, living on her own in a rural area in an old, leaking house that is difficult to maintain. We went out of our way to be extra helpful, but not only received little thanks for our efforts, but we were accused of things we simply did not do and received a derogatory and slanderous review from her. The good things about the sit: the area is beautiful and quiet, and the dogs and Aki are sweet. We made good friends with her neighbors and enjoyed spending time with them, even though Tei was unhappy with this also. This is, by far, the strangest and most difficult person we’ve ever house-sat for.
A dream pet sit! We had to pinch ourselves every morning as we opened the chalet to its incredible setting in the French Alps, perched over gorgeous, blue Lake Annecy. Sophie and Jeremy and children were wonderful, welcoming hosts and devoted pet owners. They went above and beyond to prepare for all our needs for a successful sit and for touring the region. We fell in love with their amazing dog, Stan, enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens, and fruits and veggies from the garden. The cats are mostly outdoors and came along on our dog walks! Many thanks, all...we still can't believe how lucky we were to spend time in your paradise!
This is a great sit with two really gorgeous dogs. Margot and Teddy are well behaved and easy to look after and we had no problems at all. When walking we did keep Teddy on the lead (as per owners instructions) and he was absolutely fine with it, a great walker for a sausage dog! Margot on the other hand was great off lead and had excellent recall. There are plenty of bridle paths and tracks close by and we enjoyed passing through an orchard and a lovely church while out walking this loveable pair. There are three chickens here too that needed very minimal care when we were here. They will come to their coop door to see you in the morning, especially if you have scraps of veg/salad for them! Julie and Julian were very friendly upon arrival. Relaxed and generous hosts who have a very well kept, modern, comfortable home. A fantastic place to stay. It also has a large driveway and garden areas for the dogs to have a wander at their leisure. This sit was actually five days long not three, which was a bonus as I got to spend more time with Teddy and Margot ! ❤️ An excellent sit which we would be happy to return to if dates etc align in the future!
My husband and I LOVED house sitting for Gina! She was a very friendly and gracious host. Her home was beautiful, immaculately clean, and provided all the amenities one could ask for. Aiken is a lovely area with many things to do especially if you enjoy exploring around. There are great restaurants, historic points of interest, shopping, parks, and trails. The true joy of sitting for Gina are her pets. Minxie, her cat, liked to nap most of the day but would come for cuddles and attention in the evening. Moose, Fergie and Blondie, her dogs, were total sweethearts. Leila, Zoe, Beamer & Ace were the sweetest horses to take care of. If you are a horse lover, this sit is for you - with the added bonus of dogs and cat. Very relaxing! Gina explained her routine to us so there were no open questions and we felt comfortable being alone with the pets. This is a house for a true animal lover! Thanks again Gina for letting us stay with your pets.

Can't say enough good things about Midtown Mutts! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely care about the dogs they work with. My dog loves the trainers and enjoys coming to class, plus it's a great way to tire him out when the weather is bad. We've been bringing our dog here practically since we got him, starting with the puppy socialization classes and now continuing with weekly classes to reinforce his training and learn new skills. I really appreciate that they offer classes throughout the week on a variety of topics with different trainers, so it never feels stagnant or repetitive. They make dog training both fun and interesting!
Highly recommend the team at Midtown Mutts! As return to office has added more and more days per week, we searched high & low for a reliable dog service. Driving to one of the various doggy daycare options didn’t fit in with our schedule so we were pleased when we found Midtown Mutts. They offer 30, 45 or 60 minute dog walks which enables Georgia to get out of the house mid day to relieve herself or smell a different patch of grass. The staff is fantastic and we love getting the detailed after visit summary. They know Georgia and are aware of her idiosyncrasies.
The Midtown Mutts team walked and took care of our dear dog for almost two years until we had to say goodbye. Even as he aged and his needs were more complex, the dog walkers were always patient and caring (pro-tip: sign up your senior dog for at least the 30 minute walk so neither the dog walker nor your dog feel rushed). I was enjoying this service with their reports that include pictures and a brief description of the visit until the walker left my back door open on a nearly 100 degree day in a not great neighborhood. My house was unsecured for 4 hours until I got home from work. Would not recommend to others
Cannot say enough great things about Midtown Mutts. We have a 12 year old jack Russell who is a rescue and doesn’t do well with other dogs or boarding. MM comes to our home and takes amazing care of her! Here’s a recent email I sent them: “Just wanted to say a big thank you to your team for taking such great care of our dog, Maggie! She can be a crotchedly little lady and isn’t the easiest to care for sometimes, but I know she warms up to you all whenever you come by for a visit. We have been hesitant to leave her because her health isn’t doing too well, but your team makes it easier! We love how thoughtful the email updates and photos are each visit and know that she is getting amazing care. We especially appreciate the efforts to clean up after her when she spills her water or has an accident in her crate.”
What a WONDERFUL service provider. I have a large Staffordshire terrier rescue that is strong and sometimes reactive to other dogs. Midtown Mutts actually trains their walkers with positive reinforcement techniques. They also have special safety gear to ensure there are no accidental incidents when the dog might get loose and run into traffic or get into a scuffle with another dog. A great system for booking and invoicing and very reliable. I love the photos that I get from the walkers. They are great with dogs providing affection, mental stimulation, and safety. Thank you!

Midtown Mutts has been a lifesaver for me. I work long hours in a hospital and always worry about my dog. After doing some research, I found Midtown Mutts. I met with the owner, Cassie, and she was amazing and and made me feel very comfortable. All of the dog walkers that I have had so far are great! They treat my dog like a king! They always refill his water and give him treats! He loves them! I love getting the email everyday with a brief description of the walk and 3 pictures! I would 10/10 highly recommend this company for dog walking.
As a travel nurse, it can be a daunting task trying to find dog care while in a new city. But, I’m thankful to have found Midtown Mutts! I appreciated the email updates after dog walks, and I was spoiled by the flexible schedule Midtown Mutts provides. I was also a fan of how seamless scheduling is via their online portal for clients. Midtown Mutts took care of my cat for 3 days while I was out of town. They sent me daily emails with brief report and pictures after each visit and really gave me peace of mind that my cat is in good hands while I'm gone. They responded promptly to emails and their prices are more than fair. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I cannot recommend Cha Cha's highly enough. My dog, Penny, has been going to daycare for a couple of years now, and I continue to be impressed with the staff's enthusiasm and care for my girl. The minute she realizes where we're going, she'll start her happy vocalizations in the car, and as soon as we arrive, she is DRAGGING me through the front gate to go play with her friends. Something I really love about Cha Cha's is that the staff doesn't just sit there and observe the dogs - they actively engage with them - enrichment activities, snuggles, etc. It makes my heart so happy to see my pup so happy there. For me, having separate spaces for big and little dogs is a huge plus, as Penny is very nervous around high-energy/boisterous big dogs. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure every dog is comfortable and well-taken-care-of. In addition to daycare, I've also used Cha Cha's boarding services and more recently, their grooming services, and have been really happy with all of it. While these services aren't "cheap," everything is priced competitively/reasonably and frankly, the care your dog will get is worth ten times what you're charged. And I feel good about supporting a small business that gives back to its community, supporting many of the same groups and organizations that I do. Bottom line: Penny and I love Cha Cha's and know you will too! ❤

My little Jackie loves Cha Cha’s, and so do I. I can check in on Jackie during the day via the live cameras and I see a happy dog. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. They seem to really enjoy the animals. They provide a safe environment for my dog to socialize and play with other dogs. At the end of the day, I pick up a tired and happy dog.

We love Cha Cha's! We come here 2x a week for daycare, some grooming and lots of boarding throughout the year. The staff, literally everyone, is always so welcoming and kind to my guy. Arthur, my Boston Terrier, has a unique personality and can sometimes be weary of new people. Everyone knows this about him and they all give him his space and time to warm up when he comes in. The staff communicates well with me and go above in working with Arthur to break out of his shell. He comes home happy and exhausted. Having Cha Cha's as part of Arthur's routine has been so great for him!
Our rescue dog, Marty, has been going to Cha Cha's since she was 2 years old in 2019. She goes multiple times a week for day care, gets monthly grooming, and boarding occasionally. We absolutely love the staff and greatly appreciate the care they provide. We know she has a blast every time she is there and wouldn't trust her with anyone else!
This review has been a long time coming. From the time you step in the door with your fur baby(s), people are friendly, pleasant, attentive, and in great spirits! My dog is running for the front door when we arrive, which makes me feel like I'm a good dog Mom. He comes home tired and freshly bathed, ready for dinner and, evening snuggles. We recently moved to CA and my biggest concern was finding a good overnight boarding facility for our dogs. I was a little worried being that they are so new, but this place has been amazing!! We have used them a couple of times already. I love how we can bring their bedding from home so it can comfort them. It’s so clean, quiet, and the staff are kind. My border collie/blue heeler is a good judge of character and when we can back she was so excited to see one of the staff members. Made me feel like okay, if she gave their stamp of approval then we are gold! I definitely recommend!
As a dog owner, who recognizes the responsibility and dedication required to raise a well adjusted, well socialized, and confident dog, I've tried multiple doggy day cares in the Sacramento area. I realized I could not manage my dog Jack alone; he needs a lot of stimulation, is very attached to me at home and I have other things I need to do- and without the guilt. Doggy daycares range from terrible to amazing and The Bark Park stands out from the crowd. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, flexible and show genuine interest in Jack and his well being. The place is clean, professional, and well organized. They clearly spent a lot of time in developing processes, finding the right staff, and fully understand every detail that goes into running a doggy day care. Jack is always excited when we arrive, pick up/drop off is efficient, friendly, and positive. I feel really grateful to have found this place and feel valued as customer and hope to continue to be one for a long time to come. This place is definitely a 5 star facility.
We just moved to Sacramento and we are so glad we found the Bark Park. Our great dane needs to socialize a couple of times a week and we have found a great place! We have also boarded him for a night twice now and the staff took great care of our big guy. They have even given us photos and videos of him with his friends. He is happy going and happy when we pick him up. Great staff and very nice facility.
The place is nice and clean. I walked in, and the workers were giving the dogs so much love, and the dogs were not locked up. The lady at the front desk was so nice to me and my dog, her name is Taren ( I think that is how you spell her name). I will be boarding my baby there.
We're always looking for dog daycare for our about to be ten year old dog. Most places are close but not close enough and usually out of our way to get there. When I found out about this place, I was absolutely excited that this place was within walking distance from my house! They're open Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm, and 9am to 5pm on weekends (lobby closed 11:30am to 1pm all week) I'm hoping they expand the hours after business picks up. They just recently opened on February 10th, so they're really new. We were given a tour of the place and got to meet the handler who was watching our dog in daycare. I especially appreciated the behavioral sheet that they asked me to fill out (and won't let me leave without filing it out after drop off) to ensure they get to know him better. Trial day for daycare was free and today, we're off to drop our dog for the second time and also purchase a 10 pack! Oh, and they gave us report card and goodie bag at pick up. Welcome to East Sac, Bark Park!

Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.
Great place to take your dog for day care or swim fun. I've taken my bullmastiff to day care and open swim. She lived both and came home tired and happy. Bit expensive buy you're paying for good care of your dog. I really appreciate that they screen your pet and have separation of different temperaments. Open swim in wknds is great and pretty cheap at $10 per dog. I highly recommend and will be back often. They have boarding service too, but I've never used it.
We rented the pool with some dog park friends and had a blast. The staff are very friendly and the pool was ready to have our pack of dogs rage. Some seating provided, bring a towel for yourself and wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked because the dogs will shake all over you!
Our baby loves her stays here and comes home happy having played with dogs for a week while we go on vacation.. take your baby here and see how great this place is!! 💙🙏🤙 See healthy happy tired.. good girl. …

The staff here is great! Our pup had an amazing day swimming here, we are planning on coming back for daycare :) (And I must say... It's so refreshing to find a place where pitbulls are treated equally!)
I took my dog, Huffy, to the Animal Den for their open swim. She had a blast! All the doggies loved the pool and I got to enjoy some wine while she played. It was a win all around! My only gripe is the admission fee is $10. The fee is reasonable but it does keep us from going as frequently as we would like!
My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!
Such nice and caring individuals! They can accommodate almost anything! Very patient and compassionate for not only the fur babies but the fur parents as well! As for my Meeko he is having the time of his life for his first time. He is literally smiling. Great decision to board him here. I would high recommend this place!

I am so GRATEFUL that I found Grateful Dog Daycare! I've taken advantage of their overnight and long-term boarding services. As you can see from the photo, Ariel and I have trouble leaving one another. However, she always comes home healthy and happy after staying with the Grateful Dog Staff who are so very helpful and kind. If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would!

I take my 40lb doodley dog to get groomed here and they do an amazing job, every time! They even have a little slab with fur lengths so you can visualize ideal lengths for the cut. It helps me out A LOT. My pup comes out looking great no matter which groomer he sees. He’s also quite nervous but they take good care of him while he’s there.

Adventure awaits is beyond amazing! If I could give Jenn and her staff more than 5 stars I would. My dog Capone is so happy to go here he literally pulls me up the steps! Jenn sends me pictures and videos of him and he looks like he’s having a blast. Before I found Adventure Awaits, I took him to another boarding facility and Capones attitude is night and day. He’s so much happier and so well taken care of. It’s such a relief for me that I don’t have to worry about him when he’s here.

I can always tell how comfortable and happy she is at a place based on her reaction when I drop her off. To say she’s excited to go to Adventure Awaits every week would be an understatement. She practically drags me around the block and into the lobby the second she knows where we’re going. She always runs straight to the door leading to the play area without a second glance. Knowing how happy and well taken care of she is there makes me excited for the days she gets to go to daycare. Jenn is incredible and so attuned to each dog’s personality. The pictures she sends of the pups are always the best part of my day. My only regret is not bringing my pup here sooner, but we are SO glad to have found this absolute gem of a daycare!
Leah LOVES coming to daycare and hanging out with all the other dogs and Jennie. I love getting all the pictures of the pups playing together and hearing about Leah's stories when I come and pick her up! Her confidence has grown so much at Adventure Awaits and it's all because the environment and space that Jennie has created! We are so lucky to have Adventure Awaits take such great care of our girl!! Leah is always begging to go back!!!
Today was one of Adventure Awaits dog parties. Halloween festivities all day! My dog loved it! She is so tired from all of the fun. My dog and I loved Jenn's previous location and this new location did not disappoint. The lobby is absolutely adorable! Decorated so cute and smells so clean. I always feel so at peace when my pup is in Jenn's hands. She has the whole dog daycare/boarding process perfected. Thanks for being awesome!
I am super over protective with my dog Ollie (probably to a fault), but I felt completely comfortable and safe taking him here! At one point, we really needed help and had to take him to doggy daycare 3/week and it was a great experience! I could tell Ollie had lots of fun. Jen and Amy answered all of my questions and made us feel really comfortable!
Everything about Jen and Adventure Awaits is above and beyond! My dog Zoey adores going and adores Jen and the other great people who work there. Zoey has made so many friends and gets to let all of her crazy energy out :) She has separation anxiety and can't be left at home alone, so Adventure Awaits is her home away from home. I truly don't know what I would do without Jen! Zoey goes multiple times a week and boarded for 2 weeks when I went to Europe over the summer. Jen took her in even though she was very new to the daycare at the time and made her part of the family. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who needs some help with their pups!
Adventure Awaits is absolutely the best. Jennie is so professional and helps your dogs be the best version of themselves. Our dogs needed some socialization after we started working from home and Jennie was just the expert to help with that. Could not recommend Adventure Awaits more!
After having first play day, Jen said my 6 months old puppy was well with other dogs except he had excessive barking in the crate, but she said it’s something we can work on it, so I purchased 10 full day daycare package, and I dropped off my puppy a couple days after his first play day. Unlike the first trial day, Jen did not send any photos or any update, so I texted her after my lunch asking how my dog is doing. The answer I got was that my dog has been very barky and that she will still work on it. About an hour later Jen texted me back if I could take my dog home because he’s been barking a lot. And she said “In time he will get there with more crate time at home.” Then, I asked her how long she keeps him in the crate. Instead of answering my question, she said “It’s in the crate and out of the crate. Just going to take some time. He’s young :)” My dog sleeps in his crate at night with no problem at home. When I went there to pick him up, I was shocked, and it was heart breaking to see how my puppy looked like. Jen said he was mounting other dogs every 10 min and been barking since he was dropped off, so she put him in the bathroom crate. My dog looked filthy, both of his front legs and face were all wet and looked lost and very anxious. Jen also told me to try other daycare. Since that day, it ruined my dog’s entire night routine. He becomes very anxious and cries in his crate. I attempted to crate train him again, but it ends up bringing his traumatized memory again with uncontrolled diarrhea. Jen is the one who evaluate my dog for entire day during the first “play day” and who accepted him. I understand that he may have been difficult with other dogs because he’s still a puppy without much experience with other dogs around. Instead of isolating him in bathroom crate (which I don’t even know how it looks like because all of the daycare site is all hidden behind the fence), she could’ve given him a little TLC. I decided to take my dog to Adventure Awaits Dog Daycare after carefully reviewing all the reviews, but I regret my decision so much now. You can’t just rely on 5 star reviews until you actually try it. Maybe my dog wasn’t just a good fit there
We love & care very much for our two “fur babies” & who doesn’t. Pete & Cookie are just as you see black & white. One is a large & in charge frenchie & the other is a mix we rescued. Adventure Awaits treats our dogs as they do their own. The one on one care & direct attention to the little’ns allows them to get to know each pups needs & their unique personalities. Our kids love to go & spend time where we & they know they are safe & cared for. Both are always wore out from the play time & interaction with their friends. We will go nowhere else! Side note, they are open from 7 pm -11 pm on weekends. Enjoy a night out downtown & you don’t have to leave the kids home alone!
Adventure Awaits dog daycare is amazing. I don’t trust anyone else with my dog. I drive from the Roseville/rocklin area just so my dog can play and socialize under the supervision of Adventure Awaits. The owner Jennie is beyond knowledgeable and is adamant about providing a safe and fun environment for my pup. Staff treat each dog as if they were their own and I can go to work or do what I need to do without ever having to worry about the well-being of my dog. My pup comes home exhausted and continues his playing and barking in his dreams. He has so much fun as well as getting loved on endlessly. Highly recommend Adventure Awaits dog daycare!

Karen has helped us from day 1! We adopted our dog Roscon and within few days had to go on a trip. It was a very stressful situation having to figure out who could take care of our puppy when everyone we knew was going on this trip. I came across Happy Feet Pet’s website and quickly contacted Karen. Because of the short notice I was expecting to be turned down but Karen responded to our request in less than an hour. She helped us with overnight pet sitting and walks. During our entire trip she kept us posted on our Roscon and made us feel at ease knowing he was in good hands. After that, she has continued to help us with walks and check-ins. Roscon gets very happy every time she comes in! Karen is always very flexible with our walks schedule and even help us with reinforcing Roscon’s training. We do 30-min walks and we are now starting to work in group walks. Roscon and both my husband and I are very grateful for Karen! If you need help finding someone you can trust with caring for your dog when you’re away, Karen hands down should be your option. Karen is absolutely amazing. I met Karen by chance at McKinley Park. She happened to be walking a dog similar to my sweet boy Caramel. She is so great with pets. Anytime I am headed out of town I always use Karen for overnight stays. She always gets back to me with her availability very quickly. And is always willing to work around my schedule. When I get home, the house is just as I left it and I have a very happy pup.
Karen has taken fantastic care of our dog Luther since we moved here in 2016. She walks him during the week and stays with him when we are out of town--we are so lucky to have found her! She takes such good care of Luther (and our home!) when we're out of town, and it's so easy to communicate with her when we need to adjust our schedule. Karen is an outstanding pet sitter! She is really dedicated to her business but also treats her furry clients as if they were family. Karen has been caring for my cats for the better part of two years now and is always through, on time, and communicative. When I get home they’re still happy to see me, but I never have to worry when I leave them in Karen’s care.
Karen is awesome- we recently moved to Sacramento, and she’s been a huge help to our family. Our two dogs loved her after their first walk, which is saying something since they are sometimes slow to warm up to new people. My pups, Alfonso and Oillie love staying at the Best Friends Pet Hotel! They are so quiet on the way home. Exhausted from fun! They love the staff. My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.
I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!
Best Friends pet boarding, daycare in Carmichael. The staff here is awesom! My Pebbles and BamBam really enjoy their overnight stays! They get lots of attention, treats and best of all have piece of mind knowing the loving care they are getting! Highly recommend boarding and Doggy day camp!

Murphy and Finley had a great stay at Best Friends Pet Hotel. They took good care of them and were accommodating when I arrived slightly after hours to pick them up because of traffic. You could tell they really care about the animals in their care. I recommend!
