Rebecca is very sweet and incredibly considerate. We had a nice long zoom call before confirming the sit and she was easy to talk to. At the time I had two kitties and one was very ill. Rebecca asked thoughtful questions and had so much experience that my stress and anxiety were alleviated; I was grateful to have found her and felt completely comfortable entrusting my kitties and little piece of paradise to her. Unfortunately my Fizzy Fitzy's health deteriorated and he didn't make it. I let Rebecca know before the sit that it would be only one kitty and that he would be adjusting to the loss of his "brother" and companion and might need more care and attention. She was so kind and again, I felt like the universe had sent me the right person. Rebecca and I got a chance to meet as we overlapped by an hour or two on day one; I was so glad to be able to see her in person and give her a hug before I left. I returned after about 10 days to a calm kitty (which was amazing given that he'd just lost his lifelong companion) and an immaculate apartment. Rebecca even washed the sheets and made the bed which was so beyond helpful and appreciated after a tiring trip. Rebecca sent me a long message on the last day letting me know what had been done and showing a walk-through of the home (she's very thorough, which I love), so I knew what I was coming home to down to the fruit in the fridge. Seriously, the place was immaculate! I know you're journeying on Rebecca but I would love to have you sit anytime. Thank you!

Gretchen was fantastic. House was left clean and orderly. All my plants were watered and healthy. The most important part was the care of my dogs. I had daily updates with pics and or video. They were well cared for. My small dog doesn’t “take” to everyone, but she loved Gretchen. They were taken on walks and field trips. Really can’t say enough about her. Professional, understood what was needed and awesome with the pups! Very pleasant to communicate with.

Kathryn and Isabel took great care of our dogs, who were happy and healthy upon our return. They also took good care of our home, cleaned up after themselves, ran the dishwasher and everything. I highly recommend them to watch your house and pets as they are great sitters!

Hannah
It was a real pleasure to look after Kiki in Hannah’s lovely home. Kiki was very loving and chatty, once she got used to us, and my kids had great fun playing with her in the beautiful back garden.
The house had everything we needed and Hannah left us very clear instructions for everything.
The area is lovely and very close to shops and public transport routes. It’s not long to get into London for the day by train and there’s many nice places to visit nearby as well.
Thank you for a fantastic stay Hannah and the tea and biscuits on arrival was a very thoughtful touch.

Maggie + Cody
10/10 recommend sitting for Maggie and Cody! Their home is super clean, comfortable, and in a great, walkable location. All which made it ideal for a longer stay where I wound up needing to work from their home office for much of the visit, with little Juni’s sweet and hilariously playful company (miss her already!). Maggie and Cody are clear on communication — I really appreciated both written instructions, FYI’s in the welcome guide and on stickies in the apartment, and prompt responses when I had questions. They are also totally kind and very accommodating, ensuring a comfortable, easy stay, and I’m excited to return!

I was warmly welcomed by Michelle and Chris. They picked me up from the bus station, fed me a delicious dinner, and even put fresh flowers in my room.
Staying at their beautiful home is like a resort vacation. It sits on five acres just east of Ft Collins with gorgeous views of the front range. The home contains every amenity you could possibly want- it is spotless and uncluttered, and despite its size is easy to keep clean.
Theo the Bernadoodle is a sweet soul who loves affection and will stick to you side. The property is fenced in making it ideal to let him roam the acreage. He can be taken on walks along the quiet country roads and requires a firm lead. I think he was quite content to remain at home.
Michelle and Chris were extremely organized which made it easy and stress-free. They were quick to respond when I had questions.
This was a delightful experience which I highly recommend!

Kathleen
Our Xmas sit in Annecy was great! Kathleen and her family were very hospitable and we felt very welcomed at her place since the beginning. Before they left we were invited to an excellent Xmas dinner and the following day to a superb Xmas lunch.
The house has all the modern amenities one could asked for and it has been very recently upgraded. The cats are very sweet and they bond fast with us. They are three happy souls that sorround you since early morning and that want to share their “joie de vivre” all the time. They are rather playful either with us, toys or even among themselves. They love to get out and about and following Kathleen directions they can safely play outside. They all have collars with identity tags and one of them, the most intrepid, a gps. The garden is where they love to ramble and it is quite safe and prepared for them to do so. Afterwards, once back in the house, they are relaxed for the rest of the day. It soothes them a lot to get out so we managed to let them go as much as possible, weather allowing.
For the rest, the location of the house is ideal for mountains and outdoors lovers, but also if you are a bit more urban, you have several cities and towns of interest to visit nearby. The lake of Annecy is an atraction in itself, like the weekly market, it’s old town, etc. All is at short distance, thus you could reach the city center by foot, bike or car in minutes.
I would highly recommend you this sit where we could spent a lot of quality time.

Matthew
We had a really nice sit at Matthew's place! Since the pups were with family, we just had Poppy the cat and 2 adorable rats, who I got the cutest close up pics of their little faces! Everything was easy and went smoothly. Poppy was very independent but made herself known when she came in for dinner with her little meows. So cute. Directions were clear and straightforward when we spoke with Matthew on the phone. The house was super comfortable and they were so thoughtful to even leave us new pillows (though we travel with our own so they got new pillows!) We relaxed by the Koi pond each evening under the deck lights. A very nice sit which I would recommend!

Laura
Enjoy authentic farm life in the Virginia countryside. Laura's sit embodies genuine farm living complete with beautiful pastures, wooded trails, a creek, a one-lane gravel road, dogs, donkeys, chickens, goats, a cat, a 100-year old farm house, and did I mention the stars! The stars from her property are breathtaking!

Laura is a pleasure to communicate with and her animals are so much fun. Laura gave us very clear instructions that were easy to follow. Farm chores and feeding take about 30 minutes each morning and 30 minutes again in the evening. The dogs also like a 30 minute to one hour walk on the property with you sometime during the day. But other than that you are free to explore the farm or the surrounding area.

Our favorite place to explore is the little town of Floyd, VA, about 30 minutes away, which has two grocery stores, several restaurants, a distillery, a brewery, and multiple gift shops. Floyd has a vibrant arts community with several galleries and art collectives, as well as an arts center. And the Floyd Country Store is not to be missed with its great food and live music many days of the week.

We're ratling Laura's sit with five stars because she is a wonderful person, her animals are great, and her listing is accurate and honest. Laura's home is a well-lived in, rustic. 100 year-old farm house. If you're looking for serinity, a remote retreat, wide-open outdoor spaces, Laura's sit could be for you.
