Angela and Seymour were the best and most generous of hosts and really great fun. Cannot recommend highly enough a housesit in this beautiful house and/or cottage in an area of stunning countryside. We completely fell in love with Maggie & Toffee, and were very sad to leave them behind. They both have great characters and we loved that we discovered new walks with them daily. We had a really marvellous time and would definately return if asked.
A wonderful sit, we had a great time in Westbury. We arrived a day early and received a very warm welcome, lovely home cooked diner and lunch together, it felt like being with old friends. Everything was well organised and easy to follow, (the organisation of the pet feeding area is particularly good!) we went for a walk together with the dogs and all instructions were very clear. The furry family members were all very sweet and we enjoyed their company very much. Bosco and Dixie are both good natured, affectionate and well behaved, they are in their twilight years and enjoy their gentle walks, naps and cuddles. The cats are also friendly and come and go as they please. Smokey could be quite vocal and we all loved his character, we felt honoured when he came to cuddle with us a couple of evenings. Cleo would often cuddle up of an afternoon and stayed nearby. The house is big and spacious, lots of room, both inside and in the garden. It’s clean, well kept and comfortable. The area is quiet and calm, easy access to the walking park area, and nearby to local shops. We are very happy to recommend!
It was a pleasure caretaking Mia & Winston. They’re playful cats & made me giggle often.😃Lauren & Matt were incredibly hospitable & made sure I had all the info I needed for a smooth stay. I hope we cross paths again in future. ☺️
By far the worst pet sitting experience in over 6 years doing it. Communication was very bad, usually i try to visit the house and pets before accepting but this time i made the mistake of not doing it since i trusted the pictures on the listing. I could only meet the day before starting the house sit, and right after that i had to contact support because i didn't feel comfortable staying at this house sit under the dirty conditions it was. I asked Fabrizio if he would clean the place, which was indeed improved but it was definitely below standards of hygiene, not just dirty also lots of piled stuff everywhere giving a very unpleasant feeling while there. The pictures didn't reflect the reality of the place. A cleaner came the day i left, and after that i started receiving messages from Fabrizio accusing me of changing the bed position(which i did not move) leaving laundry in the washer (which the cleaner agreed to deal with, since before i left i put to wash the dirty sheets and towels as a favor to him), moving the food box from its place(which i didn't do either), and also complained about leaving one plate and few glasses inside the dishwasher (same as when i arrived). It was very rude from him to accuse me for things i didn't do, or at least i didn't do with bad intention, i only wanted to help. I've always had amazing experiences and reviews. He didn't take the time to ask me if i did any of it, he just blamed it on me. I knew since i met him he would be trouble, but i decided to take the house sit since i didn't want to leave the cats without care. But the place was so dirty it didn't feel comfortable staying there. Yes, i did enjoy the rooftop, even if it doesn't look like the pictures. But besides that, worst house sit and host i ever had. Not recommended.
Bambi and Gregory’s home is clean, and welcoming and they were very accommodating. Bambi left clear instructions and they gave Jason a tour and went over everything before they left. Rain was super friendly and had tons of lovable energy. She was so sweet to lay by our feet when we watched tv. Rain and our dog did great together and both loved chasing balls at the dog park and in the back yard.
