Erin did a phenomenal job taking care of Daphne and Max. I had recently adopted Max, and was leaving for a longer trip than usual, so I was a bit nervous having a sitter for an extended period of time. Erin turned out to be perfect. She was highly communicative, asked great questions, and sent me lots of updates while I was away. There were a couple of issues with my apartment I forgot to mention (fussy window shade, cabinet handle loose) that Erin messaged me about immediately. This gave me a lot of confidence that if anything happened I would be notified. Max also pooped on the rug, but Erin scrubbed it out as soon as it happened and I never would have known. When I returned, my apartment was in perfect condition, and the cats were clearly happy and relaxed and had been taken great care of. It's very clear that Erin takes sitting seriously, and I would be more than happy to have her again for however long my trip is. Can't recommend her enough!
Linda and Mark are great hosts, they invited me over for dinner before the sit so we can get to know each other and I got to meet Dolly and Dutch spend some time with them as well. Dutch has a lot of energy and play ball in the house. Dolly is more laid-back and at times wants to cuddle rub up against you and she’s funny because she makes growling and barking noises when she’s happy. It was a fun time and I would definitely recommend this sit to everyone , oh yeah, and of course, the views in Juneau are amazing . Thanks Linda and Mark
Wow, what an amazing house sit. We spent six weeks experiencing an Ottawa winter in Deb & Gord’s beautiful home with their beloved Brody. Their house is well set up to enjoy the Canadian winter, with a lovely outlook to their two acre wooded yard and a fantastic games room. Deb and Gord’s home is perfect for wildlife enthusiasts. During winter the animals come daily to feed and it often felt like we’d walked onto a Disney set; there was Bambi, Thumper and all their bird and squirrel friends! 😀 Brody is a lovely sweet natured dog with a big personality. We enjoyed taking him for walks in the forest or just hanging out on the couch having a hug. It was sad to say goodbye to such an affectionate and friendly dog. Deb & Gord are a lovely couple and we got to know them quite well as we stayed for several days before and after their holiday. We had so many laughs together as well as the odd game of pool, table tennis and even a few crazy toboggan rides 😀 They were extremely generous and collected us up from the train station and dropped us off at the airport hotel when it was time to leave. They even filled up the fridge/freezer with groceries for us so we didn’t have to rush out and go shopping. This was definitely the best house sit we have ever done and the “Canadian white winter” experience was everything we had dreamed of. Not only did we have an amazing time exploring Ottawa/Gatineau but we also made some wonderful new friends.
Had a great sit at Nathaniel's and Kim's place. Both were welcoming and made me feel comfortable and at home. Nova is still a kitten and is great fun. She enjoys playing and loves to spend time with you. She was easy to care for and very affectionate. The house is beautiful and located right on the ocean. So, terrific for spending time in and just enjoying taking in the surroundings. Instructions were clear and easy to follow with good communication. Thanks to both of you for the opportunity and entrusting me with Nova and your home.
I had an incredible week with Charley! This little guy is full of energy and so loveable. And Hylari & Mark's home is spotless, comfortable and so relaxing. But what truly set it apart was its location - nestled within one of the country's most stunning landscapes. Charley and I developed a lovely routine that I will miss - our morning hikes were always an adventure, and our evenings were all about snuggling up in the cosy lounge, soaking up the view of the stunning Chiltern countryside. Thank you so much for having me in your beautiful home, Hylari. And please sneak Charley an extra nibble of cheese and let him know it's from me!
Lyman is awesome to work with - very kind, accommodating and super responsive. The house and neighbors are all great. It's about 1 mile down to the edge of the Arkansas River Main Street area - bars, distilleries, shops, grocery stores and good food. The animals!!! - Petra is super sweet and ready to "rock-n-roll"! She loves to be off leash, so finding that space makes her the happiest! She likes to sleep in the same room as you and loves her tummy rubbed. Hayduke is a vocal and curious kitty, will turn his head to try and understand you (darling!). Hamish is the shyest of them all, and still loves his pets and treats. It's a super fun crew to know and play with!
Fleming was super communicative! Tucker and Frankie are the cutest kitties and love cuddling and treats (especially Frankie) ❤️ Location is amazing, Fleming’s condo is so well-decorated, the gym and amenities rock, and her neighbors are the sweetest. I’d sit for her again in a heartbeat 💗
