I had a few trips coming up and needed somewhere to board my dog Ducky and found this one near by with great reviews! Honestly their reviews don’t lie! This is a very cute homey place and my dog Ducky seems to love it here. Getting report cards and photos help ease my anxiety which is reassuring for any of the dog parents with separation anxiety from their babies.

My Cooper squeals with delight when we arrive in the parking lot - he can't wait to get inside to play with his friends .... That being said - I feel very comfortable leaving him in their care. They go above and beyond. Enclosing my boys Halloween photo shoot. I was super surprised by the beautiful gift they sent home with him today for Christmas 🎄. They have webcams as well so you can watch the day to day activities - and a scheduled time out for the dogs to rest. Highly, highly recommend this location for their doggie daycare. My lab Harley, has been attending daycare at Petopia since March of this year. The staff seem like they truly care for the dogs and ensure they are having fun while being safe. We enjoy the fact that there are nest cameras and we can see what she is up to during the day, alongside photo updates and report cards. Harley truly enjoys going to daycare. We can tell because when we pick her up she is absolutely soaked from the hose and with a big smile on her face. Thank you Petopia staff for the environment you provide for Harley and all her fur friends! We highly recommend Petopia for your doggy daycare needs.

The best decision I could make was to take Keeper to Petopia, I have been attending daily for a little over 3 months and he is happy and I am calm that Keeper is in the best hands. He ends his day happy and exhausted from playing so much and the staff is the best, loving with my dog son ♥️🙏🏻 always grateful!!! …

I love bringing my dog Espresso here! When we were looking for a daycare to bring Espresso to, one thing that stood out to me was that I was able to get a tour of the facility, after visiting and inquiring about daycare (no appointment needed). Since then, Espresso has been many times and even boarded for a week. Espresso is a redbone coonhound and his breed gets attached to their owners - Petopia took that into consideration and they really met his needs while he was boarding. Another great thing is that after each daycare visit and boarding stay, we get feedback on Espresso’s time. Lastly - the cherry on top of this daycare facility is the big backyard.

Petopia is ‘home away from home’ for my mini chocolate brown cockapoo, Jade. She’s at the tail end of ‘puppyhood’ with lots of energy and she gets activity, exercise, and cuddles from all staff. Jade is a social girl but can be a bit anxious (maybe a titch persnickety at times:)), and her needs are always met with a positive approach. When Jade started daycare she was cautious, and within a couple weeks she was eager to go, thanks to everyone, the programming, and communication. Getting weekly report cards and pictures was a very nice personal touch! Jade’s a pleaser and in return requires human attention as much as puppy play, which she gets lots of both. There is plenty of space and room for dogs of all sizes to make furry friends. Recently Jade had her first boarding experience for a few nights. I got updates and pictures and felt comfortable knowing she was being well taken care of. Now I can start to plan longer trips with the reassurance she has a ‘home away from home’! Thank you Pat and all ‘Petopians’ for helping Jade be her best self and grow with confidence. Jade and her paw-parents appreciate all that you do!

Our Golden Retriever Journey has been visiting Petopia for the past month and always has a blast! He loves the big open space to run around and play, and we appreciate the option to check on him periodically throughout the day on the webcams. We also noticed that since visiting Petopia, he has gained a lot of confidence socializing with other dogs too. We would absolutely recommend Petopia as a daycare!

I don’t even know where to begin telling everyone how fantastic Petopia is. From day one they have exceeded any expectation we had, and frankly, I think our dog Milo considers Petopia his home away from home. The owner Pat and all of the staff are fantastic. They communicate with us every day, and have been very patient with our puppy as he learns his manners and how to integrate with the other dogs. The excitement Milo shows each day is great to see, and the exhaustion at the end of the day shows just how much fun he has. Any issues that arise are communicated daily, and the regular report cards with daily updates are awesome. Some of them include pictures which makes you smile. We can’t recommend Petopia enough! We tell all of our friends, family, and colleagues about this place and will continue to. Five stars is not enough! Thank you Pat and staff, Milo will be there for years to come!! Oh my God. What a amazing place for the dog day care. We have full day care for Adonis for one full month. He is 3 Years old German Sheppard. Petopia is like home away from home. The staff is so caring for Adonis. They are taking care of our Adonis just like he is their own dog. The owner Pat is so active and supporting for making our one month package convenient for us. Before we were so worried for Adonis's day care in Scarborough. But since Adonis is going to Petopia, we become 100 % worriless and now we can plan for a longer family trip as Petopia also provides overnight boarding. Also, they provide camera access in the play area so We can see that all the staff members are really a dog lover people and they play many games with the dogs and keep all the dogs engaged whole day.They keep an eye on each dog every single second. So the dog safety is 100 % guaranteed. Our dog is always exited to go to Petopia. Thank you Pat and the staff, the whole Petopia family for taking care of our dog like a family. Petopia has been an amazing place for our energetic goldendoodle. He has gone there for daycare and overnights regularly for the last few months and always comes home happy (and tired!). He is a playful dog so the social time there is perfect. The picture updates are great and you can tell he is having lots of fun! The staff have been lovely and seem to genuinely care about our dog too. The online booking is simple and they have been flexible when we’ve had to adjust plans. Overall, it’s been a great experience with Petopia and gives us peace of mind when we need our dog watched, thank you!

I am so grateful to have met Hollie from Candie Paws! She is kind, caring, patient and knowledgeable! I have been doing private lessons with my 1 year old maltipoo Feta and notice improvements with him each session. He recently has had some health issues, sadly his vet was not very helpful but Hollie was right there to help in any way she could! My rescue dog has been going on private walks with Hollie since January as she is leash-reactive and wasn’t ready for group walks. Candie Paws go way above and beyond - Hollie was super friendly in walking me through the process as someone new to working with a walker and the platform is easy to use. I get updates from the walks including photos. It’s clear that Hollie just loves dogs and wants to support her on her training journey. She’s been great managing Blossom while on walks and remains consistent with our training. She’s also worked to slowly introduce Blossom to group walks in a safe & controlled starting with group walks with just Blossom and her own dog. I’m SO grateful for Hollie for taking such good care of my pup and her work in helping Blossom to learn & grow!

I honestly do not know what I would do without Candie Paws! I have been using Candie Paws for around 9-10 months now and I have to say that I would be lost without Hollie. At first, I was super nervous because my puppy is really small and it was hard to trust someone else to take care of him. Once I met Khes and April I knew he would be just fine, my Pablo absolutely loves them both and gets so excited when they come to collect him for his walks. Candie Paws is such a great way to get your dog to socialize and play with other dogs too, Pablo loves his friends. Candie Paws usually would take care of Pablo 2-3 times per week but now I have returned to the office and now they are taking him on 5 ½ day play cares per week. Hollie is amazing organizing Pablos walks and always accommodates any changes or scheduling issues I may be having. In addition to all the amazing daycare, Candie Paws also takes care of Pablo when I go on vacations or weekend breaks. Khes is usually the person who takes care of Pablo for overnight stays, and she is absolutely fantastic with Pablo, he loves her so much. She knows how nervous I can be when I don't see him, and she sends me tons of pictures and videos of her and Pablo. I could not recommend Candie Paws enough. They are truly an amazing bunch, and you can really see how well they take care of all the pets in their care. Thank you, Hollie, Khes and April for taking such good care of Pablo!

Always on time, always there when you call. They keep my baby all night, they even send me pictures of his walk! I was traveling to Toronto and needed help with my dog. The owner was super communicative and went above and beyond to assist me and my unconventional request. She answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. I go everywhere with my dog and I’m well versed in quality care, it was only green flags with this team. Unfortunately, because of the tornadoes in the mid west, we didn't get to use their services but I wanted to shout out the excellent customer care.

Group walks at happy go Lucky are unmatched! Happy go lucky provided my dog ace with the world outside of my home and the experience that I share with him. I never thought my dog would have a social life outside of where I would take him however happy Go lucky did just that. Tessa took care of our two cats for two weeks while we were in Japan. She was absolutely amazing with them! Even when one of them was being a bit feisty with the change. The best part of this service is the photos and updates we got everyday. We were so excited every morning to see the pictures and updates of how their day went. We were concerned about one of our cats who is a bit more anxious but Tessa was able to get her to warm up. Coming home from our trip she was the same as before we left and not at all distressed. Which has not been the case when we have had her taken care of with other services. We are so happy. I highly recommend and will definitely be using Happy Go Lucky again 😻

We had the best experience with Mariana and Noah as pet sitters during three years. Since they moved to Canada, we weren’t able to find another pet sitter or dog hotel at their level. They are extremely caring and loving, invested in offering activities focusing on the pets’ wellbeing during their stay. Noah and Mariana were perfect cat sitters. They bring unparalleled experience and personal affection to the animals they are tending. They get some play time in addition to the basic necessities. Lee also takes the time to send us updates via email, and includes pictures of them. Fantastic service every time, in rain, sun, or snow. Lee keeps our pets happy while we are away, and always has our backs in case of emergency (or, recently, a cancelled flight that kept us away from home for a few days). When I first met Lee I had 4 cats who would run when someone came to the door. I call her the cat whisperer because 3 of the 4 were relaxed when she came in to care for them. The 4th would sit under a table in the basement. I now have a new cat who, after a welcoming hiss was also very relaxed with Lee. She is the best!

Georgina visited our cat Mochi during the holidays and we couldn't have been happier! Each visit came with detailed information about how Mochi was doing, what was done (food he was fed, litter box cleaning, etc) and five pictures from the visit. Georgina's communication was great and we were very thankful that she was willing to visit twice a day while we were away for Christmas. Highly recommend!

Georgina and Furry Tales are the best! I was away for a week and Georgina picked up my fur baby every day for a run and swim. Jayne had so much fun every day and even got to ride shotgun! I received super cute pictures and a GPS tracker after every walk, including updates on all of Jayne’s new friends to show off at my workshop ;) My parents loved that he came home super happy and ready to pass out for his afternoon nap. Georgina has been awesome with our dog, Clover. We've been using her services for the past year. She started with puppy visits and now she goes every week with the pack to Cherry beach. She sends photos and a video of their adventure afterwards - the dogs have a blast.

Ira and Joe at Frankie’s Pet Care have been an amazing second set of parents for our little doggie Ruffles! Ruffles absolutely loves Ira and Joe! Frankie’s pet care is outstanding. We use Ira both for dog walks and boarding and our dog absolutely loves her. Ira and Joe are great and we are so happy with their dog boarding service. While we were away on vacation, Ira sent us daily updates and pictures so that we knew how Rosie was doing. We appreciated this because we were initially feeling apprehensive about leaving our senior dog in a stranger's home for the first time. Rosie got along well with the other dogs and Ira was patient with her, especially in the first few days while she was adjusting. Ira is a very kind, attentive, and patient person and truly a dog lover! We would definitely recommend her services.

My rescue husky cross, Harper, has been going up to "Camp" a couple of days a week with Robert since last summer just after I adopted him. He picked up in a large van in the morning and gets to run around 4 acres of property with lots of other dogs and swim in the large pond. I can't imagine a better day for him. Then he gets dropped back off at home in the afternoon. I wish I could go. He was also boarded there recently and had a fantastic weekend running around all day outside. Sometimes in life you get lucky and we are VERY lucky to have Robert and 'In the Lead' in our lives. As a busy lawyer and single dog-mom, I rely on someone that I trust to help keep my dog (Mabs) happy and healthy. Having tried a few dog walking services before Robert was recommended to me by a friend, the value and quality Rob provides is unbeatable. Period. My high-energy Australian Shepherd mutt is now exhausted by the time I get home in the evening. Until Robert entered our lives, I never knew this to be possible! Rob's been my dog walker for nearly 3 years now, and I highly recommend him! The off-leash play helped socialize my pup, and the exercise meant that he didn't have any destructive behaviors inside the house from boredom and excess energy. Rob's also boarded my dog from time to time and it's so much easier to have pick up and drop offs instead of driving to a boarding facility. Rob is super reliable and easy to contact. Two thumbs up!

We were so lucky find Rob at ‘In the Lead’. Our pup (4yr old labradoodle) is happy and exhausted at the end of each day after socializing with other dogs at the farm. We’ve had other doggy day care experiences and this is simply next level. Rob is flexible and communication is effective and simple through text and email. He picks up Tux at 7am and he’s back at 2pm. Just an outstanding company!

I highly recommend In The Lead Dog Walking. My dog is a high energy golden doodle and she goes with Rob 3 days a week to the country and loves it. She sits by the window and waits for him to pick her up around 7am and when she returns around 2pm she sleeps for at least 2 hours. It gives me a chance to work and not feel guilty about leaving her at home or not taking her out more often. Rob is very careful about only accepting dogs that will fit into the pack which is very important. The price is a bargain! Far superior to a one-hour city dog walker. Fran Bennett

Rob is an exceptional person and dog whisperer. He has been taking care of my two dogs Lexi and Oliver for two years now. They both adore Rob and one the beagle Oliver cries with excitement when Rob comes to pick them up at the door in the mornings. They come home tired and happy. Day well spent. Rob has also been able to constrain Oliver from roaming. On one occasion when Oliver slipped his collar Rob had complete voice command over Oliver preventing him from bolting off into the street. In the Lead Dog Walking is the best dog walking/training service in Toronto.

My family has had the best experience with In The Lead these past two years. It's very easy to coordinate our weekly walk schedule with Rob, who has also looked after our Ruff in home boarding when we've been away on vacation. And Adam!! He is such a natural dog person and has not only walked our high energy husky x border collie since he was a puppy but has also helped him with walking nicely on a lead, socialization, and general manners! Ruff absolutely adores Adam and his walk-buddies. I'd recommend this team and Adam to anyone in a heartbeat.

My dog literally picked Rob almost 10 years ago. We had other dog walkers at first but she always went to him first. Rob also loves my dog as his own as well. I always know she is safe and well cared for especially when she is boarding with him. She comes home tired out everyday. When I adopted my rescue dog Junior he was terrified of men.. and then he met Mike. Mike is fantastic with my dog Cooper. In fact, all we have to say is Mike's coming and Cooper runs and waits at the door. It does not matter what kind of day it is outside, Mike is reliable and very trustworthy with my baby. I was also impressed that he matches what dogs get along with other dogs.

What can I say... I think my dog loves Mike more than my husband! Maple is so happy every time Mike comes to get her. Getting pictures while she's staying with him overnight is an added bonus. He treats her as part of his family. Mike is passionate about what he does. He consistently goes above and beyond our expectations, may it be suggesting possible foods and even offering to take her to the vet when we had trouble contacting our vet. He loves Maple as if she was his! We absolutely trust him and highly recommend him without reservation.
