Lauren was wonderful!! I've never left my young siamese cat with a cat sitter and he took to her right away. She sent me pictures daily and gave me updates on his crazy antics. She waited to meet me upon my return from being out of town for the week, gave me a run down and left the apartment spotless. I would highly recommend her to anyone and hope she is available for my future trips out of town!
Henry is one cool cat. Enjoyed my time in Asheville and caring for such a sweet cat. Tara's home is in a central area close to all you'd want for activities and comfort. Highly recommend.
We spend very nice days with Mario and Oscar in the beautiful house of Steph and Mark, and we would do it again, the neighborhood is also very nice. Thanks and regards! Fer and Shei.
Jennifer and Don are warm and welcoming hosts with a beautifully stylish and comfortable home. It was a great time taking care of Teddy as well. He is a very sweet dog and a good boy who loves to stay close to his caretaker. I’ll definitely miss him!
Nice sit-uation! Jean and Frank are lovely people with a nice, well-organized home . They were kind and gracious to me and had me over for dinner the night before they left, and even offered to take me to a meal after the sit to thank me! The house has a great desk and office with a few monitors, a mini-gym, a huge well supplied kitchen (they have been to cooking schools), a screened in porch, and a well tuned piano. Their sweet dog Leo is a big love muffin - always friendly, wagging his tail, and unaware of his 100 pounds. I enjoyed playing fetch with him in the backyard and our regular 2x / day walks. He can pull at his leash when he sees other dogs and I had to let go (to preserve my arm!) a few times; it's just his exuberance to play with other dogs. He does have a tendency to wander off and around the neighbor's house or take himself on a walk, so you have to watch him, but he stays within eye sight. Every one in the neighborhood, which is an especially friendly and close-knit community, knows and likes Leo. If you get a chance to take him to the beach, as I did, he will love it, and even get in the water and run around. He's loyal, affectionate, and sweet. You may have to set boundaries and not have sleep on the bed with you, as 100 pounds is a bit too much when he moves at all - but he'll happily be shown to another room and another bed and stay there. Overall, if you like and can handle big dogs, and enjoy an affectionate lab, you will enjoy Leo!
I loved staying with Zephyr on the ranch for a few weeks! It was a unique and peaceful experience to spend time in nature, taking care of a few plants and playing with Zephyr each day. Naomi is kind, smart, generous and a great communicator, so sitting for her was a complete pleasure.
We had a great sit, looking after Rye. She is such a special girl. Theresa & Liam had only just moved into their home and made a huge effort to have everything ready for our arrival. We were very comfortable staying in their home, we had easy access to the train and local amenities. Rye is a very gentle and sensitive soul, she loves a cuddle and was really easy to look after.
