Sarah and Gregory are wonderful. They communicated well before and during the sit, were flexible on arrival and departure times, took great care of the animals, and the house was clean when we returned (they even remade the bed with clean sheets). It was fun to get to know them, as we have a lot of common interests. We recommend them highly and in fact have booked them for another sit later this summer!
Bea and Gyani were such great pet and house sitters! They went above and beyond in every way. They communicated with me regularly, paid attention to every detail, were very loving with my dogs, and took great care of them, and my home. I felt very comfortable with them, and trusted them completely. I feel grateful to have met them, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
This was my first time house-sitting for Jo and John and from the initial application and video chat a few months beforehand, communicating with Jo was very easy. Jo and John's cottage is set on the outskirts of Wittersham and the house is in the most georgous setting with waterways on one side and open fields and countryside the other. The house is lovely and comfortable with all the modern amenities you could wish for. My bedroom was huge and the bed was very comfy. Jo and John went on a family holiday so along with their dog Saffy I also looked after their daughter's dog Eddie and I also had my own dog Jimmy along too. Saffy and Eddie (mother and daughter) are two gorgeous Westies who are very easy look after. They are great off lead, they will disappear into the hedge or into the water channels but always come back..sometimes a bit dirty and smelly but were quite happy to have a wash when we got home. They are good in the car and we had a few trips out and about, the nearest beach is only about 20 minutes away and they loved that. As the weather was good during my stay the door to the garden was open most of the time and the girls were quite happy to mooch in and out of the house during the day, as was my dog. They both ate well and slept well through the night with no disturbances. They love to cuddle up on the sofa in the evenings, especially Eddie, who snuck her way on to my lap most nights. There is loads to explore in the local area especially if you have a National Trust membership (there is one you can walk to from the house) and lovely beaches and coastal towns not far away, you do need a car though. There is also a private mooring by the house so I had a few trips down the channel on my paddleboard, which was great. Jo and John have an Airbnb further down on their property and there were some guest changeovers that I helped with during my stay. Once the guests have arrived though, I hardly saw them, so that didn't impact my stay at all. Jimmy and I were sad to leave Eddie and Saffy at the end of our two and a half week stay and hope to see them again sometime in the future!
My time with Oakley and Cedar and Willow went by in a blink of and eye. It was a wonderful sit at Sharon and Steve’s. . I enjoyed every minute of it . Their place is like being at a retreat.! The views are amazing . This was a very easy sit and their babies made me feel right at home ! Thanks for welcoming me into your home !!
Sam and I just had an amazing experience looking after Sue and Bens “gang”. From the beginning Sue had very good communication and was extremely organised. She made sure we knew all we needed to know prior to the sit to ensure a smooth transition and hassle free pet sit. Ruby and Oliver were the cuddliest duo with beautiful personalities. They loved just being around us, whether that was outside in the sun or hanging on the couch. Out on walks was no issue and they happily followed our lead. Queen Abby was just doing her thing and was never too far from home, she loved hanging in her various boxes but after a couple of days we were blessed with a snuggle on the couch. Their home has everything you need to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We definitely recommend this sit for others who are working from home who can give these fur babies all the love and cuddles they deserve. Sue and Ben would also make great sitters should the opportunity ever present itself, I would happily have them caring my pets and home. Thanks again guys and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Beautiful home near charming Leesburg and Krystal was very responsive to any questions. The cats were super affectionate, even coming to me every day around 12:30 so I could brush them. Fluffy was so easy to take care of. My first time caring for a reptile so it was quite a relief. Would very much recommend Thai lovely home and friendly host.
What a wonderful sit for the nicest people and the best little dog, Jock! Rochelle and Doug are both very warm and welcoming people, and their home is cheerful, bright and comfortable. Jock is a quick little hunter (he caught a fly mid-air), and he’s independent and well-behaved. When it’s time for a walk, he steps right into his harness, and is decisive in knowing which route he wants to take. Their home is in a great location to catch the train into NYC, or just explore all the pretty local parks and areas. I spent a week with Jock and he was so easy, just a delightful little companion.
We stayed in Midleton across the New Year and it was a great start to 2024. Penny is full of personality, cuddles and was a true delight to look after. Close by are some beautiful beaches and walks, and we really enjoyed exploring the area with Penny. From the offset James and Niamh have provided timely responses, answered all questions and gave a really informative handover with clear instructions on Penny’s routine. Their home is welcoming and equipped with everything you may need and more! We would definitely recommend this stay to others
