Pares is an incredibly kind and thoughtful woman. She was very patient with our senior dog, Ricky, and took wonderful care of him. She communicated with us daily to make sure we knew he was well and happy. Pares left our guest room neat and tidy and even washed the sheets and ran the dishwasher on her way out. Again, she is so thoughtful as well as extremely intelligent and well organized! We would welcome her to our home time and again!
Krista and Uwe are wonderful hosts and pet parents, and their property and happy pets show it. Jax is a sweetheart who loved walks and playing keep-away with Jack, and cuddles and pets from me. He also loves other dogs and had SO much fun at the dog beach getting to meet other dogs and play off-leash, but he always came back to us shortly, even if we didn’t call him first. His enthusiasm for everything is endearing. He also likes his “brother,” Tanner, and wants to join in on any pets he is getting. Tanner is also a sweetheart and let me pet him early on. I loved my one-on-one time with him, whether he was purring from head and belly/back rubs or chasing the reflection of my watch from the sun through the expansive window. The guest apartment downstairs is so cozy we had our meals and our computers there, since there is a full-size fridge/freezer, a pantry, various appliances, and a desk and table. We were also offered the use of upstairs kitchen. The views from upstairs were amazing and that is where Tanner liked to be, so we enjoyed the best of both places. The guest bed was very comfortable. The pool is not heated, but is beautiful and refreshing when it was hot. We had days where we could see the Channel Islands off of Santa Barbara and other days where there was a blanket of clouds over the city that we could see from above. Always a beautiful sunrise. Highly recommend!
My husband and I loved watching Rio! He is such a sweetheart. He’s super easy going at home - he loves to lay in the sun and greet you with a toy. We’ve missed having a dog so it was fun to be with a dog that loves to hang out with you. Marga was really to clear with her instructions, and gave a great list of restaurants to try. The location is amazing! It’s an easy walk to the beach and downtown. I’d highly recommend sitting for Rio and hope we can watch him again.
David and Kim are quick to respond. I appreciated them giving a lot of helpful info on the area. Ruby and Willow are the sweetest! I would love to sit for them again!❤️ They keep a clean and tidy home. We felt safe and comfortable. 😃
Linda and Dick were a pleasure to sit for, leaving detailed instructions and communicating along the way. Their home is lovely inside and out. Sammy is a sweetheart, but very timid around new people. She will warm up to you after a few days, but will continue to keep her distance.
House sitting for Michele was fantastic. Hetty, Henry and Lulu are delightful, there are great walks nearby, the house is lovely and most importantly Michele is extremely thoughtful and a great communicator. I knew everything I needed to know about the house and the pets, the kitchen was well stocked and she had left contact information for people nearby if I needed any help. A lovely place to stay in a great area with great hosts..... I really loved my first housesitting experience thank you Michele!
Steve and Julie were great hosts. They gave me clear and concise instructions to look after Shelley, the fish and their home which is beautiful this made my stay very enjoyable and relaxed. Shelley is great company. A lovely couple, will be sitting for them again soon. This was my first sit and a great experience. Thank you
