We had a lovely time with Finn in this beautiful and leafy suburbs of Basel. He enjoys long walks so it was very nice to walk with him in the farmlands and forests nearby. He feels uncomfortable around certain things, for example people riding electric scooters on the pavement, but it was easy to manage his reactiveness when you understand dogs and know what to look out for. Kelly and Michael are welcoming and easygoing hosts. We enjoyed our looong chat with them on the day of our arrival and it was super nice to just being able to talk about different topics. The communication before and during the sit was super easy and efficient and their welcome guide has all the info you'd need. The apartment is comfy, has all the amenities you’d need and it cools down pretty well during the summer. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with awesome views of Basel and the greenery around which made it very calm. Thanks again for having us guys ♡

What an amazing sit!!! My partner and I spent nearly two weeks in this beautiful animal haven and would definitely come back anytime! Sylvia ist a warm, funny, thoughtful and generous host. She picked us up from the train station, showed us around the area and we spent a very relaxed evening together. Before she left the next day, she showed us the animal care routine and left detailed descriptions of everything, so we were fully equipped with all the necessary information. Communication before, during and after the sit was very great in general. We felt welcomed and completely appreciated. The animals were so wonderful. They were all very different in character but each one was fun to have around. Willi (one of the cats) was adorable and very clever; he definitely understood he had to get into his room during the day. I usually told him the time limit and he seemed to understand ;) He also loved his cuddles. So did Max, who always had his love Mini around, and Gina, the boss. Pauli was eager to hang out with all his cat bodies or snore in his preferred basket. Two hens had to be administed medication, which was easy to do and shown to us before by Sylvia. The rest of the chicken care was quite easy. The same goes for the bunnies. It helps, if you enjoy being around animals :) The house, the garden and the surrounding area are amazing! You have created such an astonishing place there and picked the perfect environment for it. We were able to use Sylvia's electric car and therefore see a lot of the area in short trips during the day or the evening. Highly recommended!
Absolutely loved pet sitting for Neil. Poppy is an actual dream, so sweet and cuddly, loves nothing more than chilling on the sofa after a walk - she’s super low maintenance and really obedient. Neil’s home is truly lovely, really enjoyed spending time there and it had great access to the beach and Royal Victoria Park. It was also really easy to put poppy in the car and drive to the New Forest for walks. Would definitely recommend this house sit- thanks for having me ! :)
Housesitting for Michelle and becoming friends with Gilfy was a wonderful experience. Michelle's home was impeccably clean and peaceful. Her care instructions and welcome manual were very clear and well thought out. Most importantly, I was grateful to have met and bonded with sweet Gilfy - she welcomed me on day one, without having met me before. Each day she opened up more and more and her personality was so cute. We truly became friends and developed such an adorable routine each morning and evening with lots of affection. I looked forward to our time together in between her naps and the usual daytime sleep time that kitties are known for. Missoula is such a wonderful town to experience and explore - hidden gems everywhere, from the outdoors to eclectic shops, a vast variety of restaurants, and very friendly people. Thank you, Michelle and Gilfy, for welcoming me into your home.
We had a really good time in Le Soler. Our hosts Laurie and Renia are very friendly and prepared everything to make the sit comfortably. We had to take care of the dogs Nogi and Bingo, the cats Maury and Twiget and some chicken. Bingo is the youngster, very energetic and still needs to learn a lot. On the other hand, very affectionate and loves people being around. Nogi is a bit shy in the beginning, absolutely lovely and gentle. The large house lies in a quiet neighborhood, bakery and supermarket are just around the corner, beaches in a short 20 min drive or the Pyreneans in a 45 min distance for hiking. Great place to be on a relaxing house sit.
