Stephanie and Gary were excellent house sitters. They got on with our nervous dog very well and did their best to care for our cats, one of which needed medicine. They left the house very tidy and were very responsive in the lead up to the sit. We also really enjoyed getting to know them briefly during our handover with them. We’d recommend them to anyone :)
It was a great sit ! Jaws and Killer are sooooo cute, gentle and soft, I really enjoyed looking after them. They behaved exactly as Maaike said - sneaking out to the hall when you open the door (it's OK, it has a door), having an energy burst from time to time which was rather funny watching killer running and jumping around. They're everywhere, and so is their fur, so be prepared - I didn't mind :) The location was superb, with all the restaurants and Stanely park really close by. The communication with Maaike was good and all went well :-)
Rachael is super kind and understanding and always great to communicate with. Her place has everything one can need and is close to all the commodities. Coraline is the sweetest little girl. She may be a bit shy at first but once she warms up to you she will quickly become the best cuddle buddy. A wonderful sit that I highly recommend.
Michelle and her fur family were amazing! Gauge, Remy and Livy were super fun to hang out with and I genuinely loved my time with them in their beautiful home. Fetch is the name of the game for the dogs (their favorite!), but if you get tired of playing, the local chipmunks provide lots of entertainment for them with a fun game of chase. Michelle was a generous and gracious host and I immediately felt at ease in her home. The deck is absolutely extraordinary (pictures can't even do it justice) and it was the perfect place for me to "work from home" while hanging out with the animals. I found a great hiking trail nearby with a beautiful waterfall, which was icing on the cake for a perfect pet sit. Michelle, thanks again for allowing me to spend time with Gauge, Remy and Livy, and I hope we can do it again sometime soon.
Poppy is a perfect Housesitting dog. She’s chilled but likes to play, she lives her little beach walks and cuddling up in the sofa. Sweet sweet, cosy, smart house with everything you need, perfectly located to explore the Solent. I work from home and had no problems pulling that off too whilst hanging out with the dog. There’s a country park you can get to along the pebbly beach, shops round the corner and in the cute sailing village. I’d say best to have a car although train station easy walking distance and buses even closer. And probably for a duo unless you’ve got a study / work mission underway - I always do! Neil super laid back and organised.
I had a wonderful time babysitting Tom and Freddie. They are the most loving cuddly and trusting kitties ever. Tara and Jay are very welcoming hosts. Their house is beautiful and comfortable. It is steps from the beach and close to beautiful trails and parks.
Wonderful sit! Beautiful puppies, fun and loving, great walks and a joy to be around. Very much miss Oti and Olive already! Lawrence and Gilly are very welcoming and even picked us up from Romsey station! Wonderful home, very comfortable and homely. Braishfield is a gorgeous village, with a great shop and two pubs all within a 12 minute walk. Highly recommended sit, if offered again and available, we would jump at the opportunity.
