Laurie is gentle, kind and very responsible. My kitties were well cared for and immediately took to her (they don't take to everyone!). She is also an interesting human being. The way I work things, I invite the sitter to stay in my home the day before the sit to go over the (complicated) routines (and the quirks of my condo) and when she came in, both kitties responded to her right away. She and I went out for dinner -- and she told me her really fascinating life story. AND she is an artist who sent me a hand-made frame-card with a picture of my kitties in it! I highly recommend Laurie.
Amelia and her family made me feel very welcome upon arrival, their home is in a lovely rural part of Chipping Norton. If you enjoy peace and quiet this could be the sit for you. Harry, Herbie and Percy are very loving. Harry is very nervous but will warm up to you, Herbie is as chilled as it gets and Percy has lots of love to give. Poor Percy had just recently had spinal surgery prior to my visit so was on crate rest with short garden walks for the duration of my stay but enjoyed lots of crate cuddles. I'd suggest in future regardless of whether your sitter advises you that they enjoy cleaning or not (I very much do) that you don't ask them to complete several loads of your personal washing. While you advised it was just the families bath and face towels, it also included several items of clothes and underwear. While you're on holiday your sitter would probably prefer to spend time with your animals and adventuring with them in the local area. All in all it's been a good sit with good communication both before and during the sit, the dogs are lovely and so are the hosts. With the above feedback taken on board for future housesits, it would make it a 5 out of 5 housesit. Thank you for entrusting your home and fur family to me.
I had a wonderful time sitting for Natasha for six days. It was an honor to be in her home with her fur babies. They have an amazingly beautiful home with four wonderful fur babies in a gorgeous location near many hiking trails. Nina loved to watch movies with me in the theater room and Shelby loves playing fetch. Now Zoey is indeed a lap baby. She would jump on my lap while I was working. Kisa comes around when it's mealtime. She's not much of a cuddler. She simply observes the goings on in the house. Everyone was so sweet, loveable, and well-behaved. They have their routine down and will remind you when it's time to eat or go outside. Nina and Shelby loved going for long walks around the neighborhood. Whenever I grabbed their leashes they came running. I would sit for them in a heartbeat. If you get to sit for Natasha with this crew you are definitely in for a treat.
Had an amazing time sitting for Anna and Arthur! They were extremely flexible and communicative throughout the process. They have two of the sweetest dogs that made for great company during the stay. The other animals on the estate were super self sufficient and didn’t require much time or energy. The property sits near a quaint little town that made for the perfect day trip for a meal or drink. Would highly recommend :)
Suzy and Julian's home is amazing and we fell in love with their 2 dogs Ted and Holly and their cats Robbie and Tommy. Suzy left us a great guide with information which was really helpful and showed us around the home. Robbie is a cat you dont see very often but he is cute when you do see him, Tommy was a funny cat and loved being heard and loved, when you stopped stroking him he would nudge or paw you which made us laugh. Ted is a vocal dog but so loving and full of beans and Holly is such a sweet loving girl and was forever begging for more love, hugs and kisses. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this gorgeous home looking after these wonderful animals, we would highly recommend this sit and if another becomes available we will definitely be applying. Thankyou for having us Suzy and Julian we enjoyed every minute!
Jeff & Jennifer were awesome hosts, they were very friendly and gave us great information on the home and caring for Shadow. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable staying in their wonderful home. Shadow is an awesome dog that we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with and was easy and fun to take care of, even the toweling off after his dunks in the pool. :) He was well-mannered, curious and easy going. He led us on walks around the neighborhood and basically started telling us what he wanted (treats, meal time, door opened, pool time) once he realized we could understand his directions like Jeff & Jennifer said he would. As others have said, if you like big gentle dogs this would be a great opportunity for you. We will definitely be applying to sit again if our schedules line up as we miss the big guy.
I had a nice stay. Josh’s home is very spacious. That’s rare for most New Yorkers. His dog was super easy to care for and very friendly. I had no trouble with Toaster at all!

Olive walks my dog four times a week and I always receive pictures and updates of my dog enjoying herself. The staff and management at Rosie’s Retreat are simply wonderful. They put time into making sure the dogs are comfortable and their needs are met. My 2.5 year old, Pepper, finds it difficult to settle in new places and has never stayed in a kennel environment. The staff spent time building her confidence with day care and the odd night before she stayed for a four night stay. The proof for me is how happy Pepper is when I drop her off, even after her overnight stays. This really is a kennel with a difference, that being that the dogs have huge amount of time for cuddles and exercise and their own space for down time when they need it. Just wonderful.
Floyd & Jagger literally had the BEST time - they had stayed as a trial fir the day and overnight in July - when I picked them up - they had obviously had a great time - so we booked again for a 6 night stay in beginning of September - photos were sent to keep me updated, they were engaged in various activities throughout each day and at the end of their stay we received a report card 😊 Rosie’s Retreat go hugely above and beyond - I cannot praise them highly enough - we were extremely anxious after having a bad experience in a previous kennels - I would say these are not a kennels but a luxury dog holiday for our 2 boys - I would recommend them to everyone 😊
I have a very elderly dog who is 17. Rosie’s retreat go over and above to make her comfortable and let her have a little wander around when she wants. They even let her in the office to sleep. It is such a weight off my mind that she’s being thoroughly spoilt and looked after so well. The updates that are sent during our holiday are great to see and do reassuring that she’s ok. I would recommend Rosie’s retreat every day
It is a fantastic retreat for dogs. Our dog stayed here for just over a week whilst we were on holiday and I was so impressed not only with the boarding which was very clean, tidy and extremely secure but the amount of space and activities the dogs had to play and people to interact with. The staff were amazing and sent me regular updates (photos and videos), you could really tell how much they cared and adored each dog and treated them individually. They took the time on the induction days and in the onboarding pack to ensure they got to know our dog and how to ensure she felt happy, settled and at home, which she absolutely did! I cannot thank Rosie’s retreat and all the staff enough they are brilliant!

We have been with Kirsty for nearly 3 years with our Boston terrier Ethel. We all adore her & can’t recommend her enough. She is kind, caring and a brilliant human. Ethel adores her.
Just home from holiday and was so relaxed knowing our dog was with Kirsty, she is great at understanding the needs of our boy (border collie) and through patience and 100% love we picked up a very happy boy. The photo pupdates were an additional bonus and helped us to to be reassured he was happy. (You can't hide a doggy smile).
Skye spent three days with Kirstie, she took great care of her. Daily walks, lots of hugs and love. I received pictures on daily basis which was very reassuring. It was very apparent Skye absolutely adored her. I would definitely book again.
Worried about leaving our 1 year old terrier for the first time, however he had a fabulous time. Kirsty sent us lots of pics and updates of his adventures. Really wonderful care.

My greyhound Jazzi is fast, but a bit of a wimp with groups of dogs. At our first meeting Jazzi was scared to enter Kirsty's home because of the other dogs but Kirsty was so patient and encouraging we got there in the end. No problem now Jazzi is up and out and racing around with all her new friends having fun, fun, fun.
Excellent care, will always be my first choice to look after my dog. He had the best time, I'm not even sure he missed us, such was the outstanding care & attention he received. Thank you Kirsty

My 2 pups went to barking dogs dog care and it was like they had a 5* holiday for themselves!! Got sent daily pics and updates. They were not very social with other dogs and there they had the best fun with a few other dogs and were calm, were taken on walks daily baths, belly rubs, and lots of cuddles and love. Emma even managed to get them to stay in their beds at night with gentle music playing downstairs as we were trying to train them to stay down stairs, Emma said that if they got upset she would bring them upstairs. She didn’t need to as they settled I would highly recommend sending your doggies/pets to barking days dog care. 10 stars from the de sousa family’- buddy and Simba had a fab time!!! Thank you
My young lab has been going to Emma for 2 days a week for the past 3 months. She absolutely looked Emma and always comes back tired! I’ve found Emma to me flexible and accommodating, and I love how my pup is with a family as well as other dogs! 100% recommend!
Emma is absolutely amazing with my boy Bruce, he goes mad with excitement when we turn up at her house and he always comes back worn out from all the fun he has had. Me being a home boarder myself I completely trust Emma and I never worry when Bruce is with her and her family. He is totally spoilt with love and attention and walks. I wouldn’t use anyone else. Our Cockapoo had a wonderful stay with Emma and her family . She is a nervous dog and got made to feel welcome in the family home . Staying with Emma and family is like home from home for our dog and nothing is ever too much trouble , even though she has become nervous and not use to other dogs company since lockdown , Emma and her family went out of their way to make our dog feel calm and at ease in her loving home . We had regular contact and lots of lovely photos . I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends and will definitely be using Emma again .
I literally cannot praise enough! My little puppy is my world and I got really anxious at having to leave him for the first time but all my fears were put to rest when I met Emma! She is utterly fabulous and clearly loves her job and the animals she looks after…I couldn’t have asked for a safer place for him to be…the whole family will adore your fur babies and treat them like their own….it really is home from home…don’t hesitate if you are looking for someone to love and care for your animals …I’m so glad I found you it makes going away so less stressful for me as I know Eric will get the very best care! We've used the Sturry branch several times. Emma first looked after our puppy when he was 6 months old when we went abroad. We had updates every day letting us know how he was getting on, photos, videos.. Pickles is well and truly part of Emma's family when he stays with them and when he visits for daycare. Emma's communication during stays is phenomenal and the dogs really are spoilt! Pickles is thoroughly spoilt by Emma and her family and im quick to recommend her to anyone who wants home from home boarding! Emma reaches out to check if Pickles can go to visit other people with her, Emma's mum and pickles are best friends! And Pickle's has even been given a bath too! I really can not recommend her enough to care for your fur babies!

Emma (Sturry based) bent over backwards to accommodate our last minute request for boarding our nervous cockapoo. She made sure Caley was happy and met her dogs first, and provided regular updates throughout the weekend so we were able to relax knowing Caley was well looked after. We are already rebooking :)

I have used Handy Pet Services on a few occasions over the years when going on holiday to look after my cat. My cat was a fussy eater and things had to be prepared in a particular way which Sarah was more than happy to do. It was reassuring to know that my cat was in such a safe pair of hands, being well cared for. Sarah went above and beyond and even brought some extra cat toys over on her visits for playtime with my fur baby and was also kind enough to send me some photos which was very much appreciated. My cat looked happy, healthy and content on my return and I found their prices to be very reasonable for the fantastic service and care provided. Sarah even watered my houseplants which I hadn’t even thought of mentioning. I can highly recommend Sarah and Handy Pets Services and will definitely be using them in the future. Derrick

Sarah is the absolutely amazing! Our Hungarian Vizsla and our mini Dachshund absolutely adore her and her family. We just come back from a week in Greece and Sarah was fantastic at sending updates and videos and checking in with me daily. Sarah at Handy Pet Services is absolutely amazing with my dog's, I cannot recommend her enough. Sarah is patient, calm, reliable, knowledgeable & experienced with dog's that have behaviour problems. I have a rescue Boxer & he is very nervous of meeting new people inside & outside the house, Sarah came to our home & spent time with him so they could get to know each other prior to her visit with him alone. Since June 2014, Handy Pet Services has taken exceptional care of my dog several days a week. I can honestly say that they have always gone above and beyond when taking care of my dog. On walks, Handy Pet Services always take the dogs on lots of different places and somehow always manage to tire our little girl out. They also take lots of pictures and always keeps me updated of key funny moments so I never miss out. No matter what the weather, Handy Pet Services have never let me or my dog down. Dog sitting, walking and overnight stays have always gone without a hitch over the years. Most importantly, my dog absolutely loves seeing the owner and her her family, she goes mad with excitement every time we pull up to her house, and pulls me to the door. Hand Pet Services is more of a second home for my dog during they day, which always gives me piece of mind when leaving her with people I know will take excellent care of her. Handy Pet Services also go the extra mile in really trying to understand the different personalities, quirks, likes and dislikes of the dogs they provide pet services to. As an animal psychologist and canine behaviourist, I can say with absolute certainty that Handy Pet Services have always taken impeccable care of my dog and all the dogs I have seen them care for over the years. They are professional, reliable and also very accommodating with changes in schedule. Overall, I would highly recommend Handy Pet Services to anyone who wants to ensure that their pets will always be well looked after and cared for!
I've been bringing my dog to Sarah for a number of years and I can honestly say there is not a better, more safer place for your dog to stay. Sarah gets to know your dog inside and out and makes them feel very special. My dog gets very exited and knows when she's going to Sarah's. I could not recommend Handy Pet services enough!
Today was Tucker's first ever groom visit. He is 5 months old and is usually nervous when up on a table as it reminds him of the vets. Both Carl and Todd were present for Tucker's groom due to his age, this involved a paw tidy and a bit of a trim to tidy up Tuckers appearance to help get him used to being there for a larger groom (bath, dry etc) in the near future. They both had such a calming and friendly vibe to them and treated Tucker as if he was there own that Tucker seemed so happy and stress free during his groom. They really know their stuff about dogs and really have your dogs best interest at heart. Tucker and I can't wait for the next groom visit. ☺️
After being at the new forest for week we used dog walking service for one day, daisy abousulty loved it. When we got back talked about finding same sort of dog walking service local to us just to break daisy's week up whilst we're at work. We are soo happy to have found Mr paws & claws (Todd) always at the end of the phone if ever we need to give daisy a break. Love receiving pictures thoughout day of daisy walks with her friends! Daisy has been much better off her lead whilst out walking, When there are other dogs around off there lead!! Thank you Todd 😃
What can I say - Our dog absolutely loves his walks with Todd! Before taking our dog out with him, Todd came to our house to meet us before we all went out together so that he could get a feel for how Jax (our dog) behaves on his walks. This was comforting, as it put our mind at rest having not used a dog walker before. Ever since that day, it's been a hit! Jax sits at the window every day waiting for Todd to arrive so he can go out with the gang! Jax has been able to socialise with lots of different dogs which has been great for us (and him) and I have to admit - all the pictures we get of Jax out on his walk brightens up a dull day at the office! We also booked Jax in for his first ever groom with Carl and he was brilliant with him. Being quite a nervous dog at times, it's easy to spook Jax and once you have he will remember it for ever! Carl did a great job pampering our pooch and we will definitely be taking him back. Honestly can't recommend these guys enough - we feel so at ease knowing that someone so trustworthy and honest is looking after our dog.

Todd looks after Brenda Blethin, my cocker spaniel, on a doggy day care basis. He's great. Always prompt, conciencious, reliable and clearly loves dogs and understands them very well. He sends me regular updates throughout the day, which is reassuring, and takes some brilliant photos of Brenda having a lovely time with her doggy friends. She's a rescue dog so I was worried about day care but she obviously loves it. I'd recommend Mr Paws to anyone.
It's very hard to put into words how amazing Todd is and how much both sebby and us will miss him. Todd looked after sebby every day for 9 months whilst we lived in Ramsgate and I can honesty say we feel privileged to have met such a great man to look after our little boy. We cannot recommend him enough. Sebby absolutely loved going out with the boys, the walks were always varied and he would come home worn out (which is unheard of!). He's a professional, caring and honest man that has a special gift with dogs, your going to be very hard to replace Todd! 🐶💙

I can highly recommend Mr Paws and Claws, Todd pet sits for my 2 cats Pablo and Maya when I'm working away from home or on holiday. I started using Mr Paws and Claws last year and Todd has always been reliable, trustworthy and brilliant with both my cats. I have come to rely on Todd so much I'm not sure how I could have managed the last 6 months without him. Pablo and Maya have got to know Todd and feel relaxed and comfortable around him. It's so nice to be able to go on holiday knowing my cats are in great hands. Brilliant guy, loves his job, you will not find anyone quite like him, he's one in a million!
To say my dog, Raymond loved Todd is an understatement! We would see Todd in the neighborhood and Raymond insisted on crossing any street etc., just to say hello to his friend. Todd has helped me for over two years with my dog. He was not only trustworthy and genuinely cared about my dog but went out of his way to understand my dog and how he could best work with me on my varying schedules. I also received daily photos of their walks, which added a huge smile to the day! He took time and care every day he saw Raymond, and treated him like his own. I would highly recommend Mr. Paws and Claws! Your best friend will be in the best hands with Todd.
There is no one we would rather entrust our pets to. Todd is fantastic, we cannot recommend him highly enough. Todd has been walking our dog Monty for over 2 years and feeding and giving medication to our cat when we are away. Todd is very professional, reliable, great with pet advice, and most importantly fantastic with our pets. Monty LOVES him! Todd has been flexible when we have needed it. And every dog walk and cat feed Todd updates us with photos. We never have any worries when Todd is looking after our pets. Where would we be without Todd...thank you!
We had never had cat sitters before and we were so pleased to find Thanet Paws. Kirsty and Mark provided excellent care for our three girls and persevered to make friends with Thora (via the medium of treat giving). Beatrix remained distant but settled enough to eat, which is about all we expected. Mishka was happy to have fuss and company. We loved getting photos after every visit and knowing we had easy communication with Kirsty and Mark was really reassuring. They were organised and keen to learn as much as possible to keep our cats happy whilst we were away. We would definitely use them again if we have to leave the cats. We would highly recommend them!
First time we have had professional cat sitters come to our house to look after our cat. Kirsty and Mark were amazing!!! They were kind and caring with our fur baby. Our cat is very nervous and timid with strangers and they put her at ease. We had communication everyday from them by WhatsApp and a video aswell. They are very reliable and professional in what they do. I would 100% recommend them as I will be having them look after ourfur baby again in the future.

TLC has been a godsend to us. We were extremely frustrated with issues we were having with our puppy and Jane at TLC has supported us through this giving us helpful advice and tips and working one on one with our pup.
Cannot thank Rebecca enough for all the help provided over the last 3 years or so with looking after my mums cat when we needed assistance. Highly recommended if you want someone to be entrusted with looking after your cat.

Great place to take your cats when you have to go away. Not huge, so cats always get plenty of attention! They are always looked after so well, spoilt almost, and are always happy and well groomed when we pick them up.

A real home from home for the cats. Excellent clean facilities, in a garden setting (plenty of bird watching!) Lovely caring owners who provide plenty of fuss and attention. Our cats come back happy, healthy and calm.
Excellent place for our beloved cat spends her 'summer holiday '. Each cat has their own safe area to live with toys scratch posts bedroom area and toilet.
