We had a really enjoyable time in Needham. Yaelle and Ken were warm, welcoming and trusting. They were on hand whenever needed and have got themselves a really luxurious barn conversion. The beds are so comfortable I asked them where they sourced their bedding, it was like sleeping on a cloud for 10 days. Lilly and Otis were lovely. Lilly occasionally requires eye drops and she's so laid back she just lets you apply them. Really cool cats. I wouldn't hesitate to stay and look after them again.
Barbara's house is just like her, super welcoming and is located in a beautiful neighborhood of Barcelona. Saffy is a full of energy cat who loves to play and never makes you feel alone and she loves being with people. we hope to return to Barcelona and meet them again soon! 😍
The flat was beautiful and well taken care of, with a lovely garden which the cats enjoy! Pan and Pickle both have such personalities and really warmed up to me throughout the stay. They were super duper cute :)) It was a joy to stay in such a stylish house with such sweet, gentle creatures. Rebecca was a perfect host, very warm over text and easy to arrange with. We arrived in Willich the night before the sit started and met Heléne and Keith in person for the hand over. We were welcomed warmly and felt comfortable in their house right away. The house is spacious and has everything that you need for an enjoyable stay. The area is more on the residential side so we appreciated having a car and being flexible. Düsseldorf is only a 20 minute car ride away which is convenient if you want to have more of a shopping or a culinary experience. The sibling cats Sally and Leo are pretty easy to take care of. Sally was a bit shy in the beginning, however warmed up after a short while and seemed to be comfortable around us which was very rewarding. :-) Leo on the other hand is the most friendly and welcoming cat we have ever met on our sits. All he needs is love and cuddles. He reminded us more of a dog because he will sit on your lap and cuddle you all day if you let him. He will also tell you when it’s time for another dry food refill which can happen many times a day. He will just sit in front of the pantry, sometimes even sleep in front of it waiting for the next meal. He is such a funny character and made us laugh every day. The cats are both pretty independent and let themselves in and out through the cat flap which is very convenient. Overall, this house sit was a great and relaxing experience and we are happy that we even got to stay a few days longer over New Years. We’d recommend the sit to anyone who likes to hang out with two super friendly and easygoing cats.
We had a wonderful time at Georgina's place, and looking after Sarla was an absolute delight. She adored accompanying us everywhere and was always eager for cuddles! A delightful bonus was the opportunity to interact with the horses. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and the AGA stove added a cozy warmth to the kitchen throughout our stay. The surrounding fields and walking paths were delightful. While the location is remote, it offers easy access to nearby villages, each with charming pubs—though a car is necessary for exploration. Thank you for entrusting us with your beautiful home and Sarla! We would love to return, hopefully in the summer.
I LOVED watching Gigi and Cauliflower! They are such well trained/behaved dogs and are very enjoyable to walk and be around. Stephanie was lovely as well and very communicative. I would definitely recommend this sweet family!
