Viktoría was a phenomenal host for me and Ruthie, we couldn't be happier! She went above and beyond to make us a meal before they left, and she showed us around town so we had some bearings. We felt the love, it was so appreciated. Neskaupstaður is a gorgeous town, and we can confirm they have the best view in town. All the animals were precious, they will keep you entertained and warm - and they were super easy to care for. Moli was a great companion on our day adventures. Perfect experience!! <3
Miriam - the house mama - is an incredibly warm & welcoming person. It was very easy to connect with her. Coco the dog requires a lot of attention, yet it is thoroughly discussed & prepared for & you get used to it. I was able to find pockets of peace in this home & enjoy the area - Rocky Point Walk is highly recommended. Plus I formed a special bond with Sophie the cat as she would come cuddle me on my chest, so I was exceptionally comforted. Heads up the bathtub isn’t fully ideal for bath taking. The room differed from the photos, yet I was provided with comfortable bed, desk & books! The home looks better in person than in photographs, by the way.
Annette & Andrew were very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. Mable is a lovely dog a little bit nervous on first meeting but she settled in very well and is a very loving dog.
Jim & I so enjoyed our time at Anna & Graham's home, with their dogs Benson & Hagrid. Our 8 days ended all too quickly. Both dogs were loving & easy to tend. They loved their twice daily walks & their massages. Benson became quite a massage junkie! Hagrid who is only 8 months was comical at times & a fun loving 'teenager'. Anna & Graham were so welcoming & generous. Without a second thought we would pet care for them again. With our grateful thanks for everything.
Enjoyed my month in Trinity Beach with Pepper great location, quiet area with wallabies roaming the streets at night. Pepper is well trained & loves to walk the more she walks the more relaxed she is. Karen & Brenden are top hosts recommend this sit to anyone wishing to explore Cairns
If you are looking for affectionate and friendly pets then Hugo and Freddie certainly fit the bill. We had plenty of cuddles with both of them. Hugo loves a brush, Freddie doesn’t but loves a car ride and is very well behaved in cafes. There is a nice park a short walk from the house where Freddie can be walked on lead and a very good off leash dog park five minutes drive away where Freddie can run around with his doggie friends and chase balls. Milla and Jeremy are a friendly couple with a lovely, comfortable home. Note: the driveway to the house is very steep. We certainly enjoyed our short time with Hugo and Freddie even though the weather could have been better.

We took our dogs for an "evaluation" before we boarded them. To see if they "passed", they told us that our German Shepard totally "shut down" when she was with other females. Didn't even try putting her with males. So they (two Chihuahuas had other issues" They never once suggested that the get German Shepherd should not be near our beloved and therapy dog Morgan. Who was obviously a female....I told them that the German Shepherd and Morgan can't be together. They claimed they were dog professionals...the very next day, our German Shepherd killed our precious Morgan, in 8 seconds....thanks....

My dog came home happy and exhausted after his first weekend. Just Like Home cares, is fun for my dog and reasonably priced for me.
They do no offer the services that are advertised on their website, where clear sizes and descriptions are printed. When I brought this up, the reply was "No, Thank You" and hung up, not offering any explanation. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

My wife and I were feeling hopeless when it came to boarding our mini Goldendoodle. It was difficult to find a good location, fair pricing and someone trustworthy to take care of our pup when we were out of town. Finally we came across Holly’s website and were immediately intrigued. We reached out and Holly was so responsive and caring. We got a meet and greet scheduled right away and it went amazing. Holly and her family are so welcoming and easy to communicate with. It has been such a relief to have found Holly and now we always know we have a reliable plan for where our dog will stay when we need help with her. Our favorite part is the daily photo updates we get from Holly when she is watching our dog ♥️ thank you, Holly!

This review is long over-due. Holly has been caring for our 4 animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) for quite a while now, and she has been absolutely stellar! She is very communicative and very compassionate in the care of our animals. Pricing is fair. Two of our animals have medical issues and one of our dogs in particular has some mobility issues. Holly is always attentive and ensures our pup gets to play without pushing herself too far (she would play fetch all day if she could). When Holly cares for your animals, you can tell she really treats them like family. I would recommend her 100%. Thank you Holly for all you do for our family! PS: She takes some pretty great photos!
We always feel comfortable having Holly watch our two cats while we're away! Holly is responsive, lets us know if there are any issues, and sends the cutest daily photo updates. She goes above and beyond to make sure they feel loved (and we're updated) while we are away!
We left our pet rabbit with Holly for a week. I knew right away that she was in good hands. Holly carefully went over all the instructions with us before we said good bye and made sure our little bunny had a comfortable set up. Then, amazingly, we got wonderful photos and updates throughout the week. Everyone was having a good time together. We were so grateful to have found Holly to share their home and attention with our little friend. Holly is really special.

Holly provided care for our two cats for a week. I could tell by the cute pictures she sent each day that the cats were very comfortable with her. She even took care of an ant evasion we had, putting out ant traps we had to keep the pests away from the cat food! She always replied promptly to texts we sent while away. I will definitely use her services again.
Holly has taken care of my kitty a couple times now and has done such a good job. She checks on my girl reliably and sends me photo updates everyday so I feel reassured that everything is ok back home. Vacations are so much more relaxing when I know my fur baby is being looked after. I highly recommend Holly!
Holly has been incredible with our 1+ yo dog, Maggie. Maggie is full of energy and love and needs a lot of attention and play. Holly expertly guides Maggie through her days and always sends us lots of great photos to put our minds at ease. She has been very flexible to meet Maggie’s needs and our busy schedule. Her toddler is great around dogs, just like her mom!

I can’t say enough good things about Petlandia!! Wendy and Nate are so patient with my nervous pup, Roo. They are amazing about checking in; both throughout the day while he’s at daycare and weekly just to bring up occasional behavioral/health concerns. They both obviously care so much about each individual pup, and tailor their care for each dog’s needs! The Petlandia set up is so fun, and highly enriching for an adventurous pup. We only use their daycare services, but they also offer boarding/daily walks which I’m sure we will look into for future needs too! Grace and Roo 🩵 Petlandia!
We were so nervous about leaving our puppy, other dog, and two bunnies for a week over the thanksgiving holiday. We had Bailey come house/pet sit for us, and could not have been happier! I have used Wendy’s services for both daycare and overnight care and I cannot say enough great things about her! I have a bit of an anxious pup who doesn’t really like playing with other dogs and has separation anxiety. Wendy has done so much to go out of her way to make my dog feel comfortable and cared for. It's not easy to leave your dog when you know she is anxious but Wendy makes it so much easier with frequent texts and photos and by being so gentle and accommodating!

I highly recommend without any hesitation." That was my review from over a year ago, one dog ago. Now we have Oakley, a much younger and more energetic head strong girl who is so very well cared for by Wendy and Bailey. They have so much patience and insight into dog behavior. They use positive skills to coach our little one even when she doesn't want to be coached. Consummate professionals, they leave the dog and home in excellent condition with clear communication and frequent photos to let us know how our sweet one is doing when we can't be home with her.
Petlandia Pet Care is legit just the best. I’ve been working with them for 8-ish years and they’ve consistently been professional, communicative, and helpful. Additionally, words truly limit me in expressing my appreciation for their flexibility now, and especially during the pandemic, as my work schedule was unpredictable and changed constantly. When I adopted my Abbey girl, she was super beat up and had clearly experienced some trauma. Now my sweet girl is an arthritic senior pup, who continues to enjoy her unconditional love and pets and walks and treats with the folks from Petlandia. Petlandia is wonderful! I have a pit bull/ heeler mix who often has issues with new people. Wendy took the time to get to know her and she is now officially on my dog's best friend list. I feel so much better leaving for work each day knowing that Wendy will be there to work with my dog. She is professional and a true animal lover. I highly recommend her and Petlandia. We love Wendy and Petlandia Pet Care! I am so happy we found Wendy to take care of our pups when we are out of town. Wendy clearly loves dogs and she always takes such good care of our two pups. Petlandia is awesome! Wendy is awesome! I did daycare at Petlandia with 2 Shetland Sheepdogs and a Shih tzu. One of my shelties was very shy and scared of new things and people. Wendy worked with Tori and formed a bond with her very quickly. My Shih tzu loved the whole area to explore and play with other pups! She always had the best time. Hunter my older sheltie found his comfy spot and napped. My pups had a week stay with Wendy at Petlandia. I trust and love Wendy like no other dog care person!
I have been a client of Petlandia Pet Care for many years and can’t say enough good things about their dog-walking service. They are reliable, and respectful. The communication is excellent and most importantly, my dogs love them and go bananas when they come over. We have taken our dog to them for the past few months and they have been absolutely amazing. No kennels, huge fenced backyard for them to play, and they can roam where they want in the house. My dog Molly is 15. In her senior years she is slow and has some special needs. Joyce and Angela go out of their way to make sure she is cared for and every need is met. She loves being there. She evens plays and bonds with the other dogs. When I pull up to their home, Molly can't wait to get to their front door. It is such a blessing knowing she is in such good, caring and loving hands while I'm away.
I stumbled upon Jet Set Pet Sitters when I was in need of both daytime care and boarding while we were in the process of moving. Joyce and Angela are beyond FANTASTIC! They love the dogs as if they were their own. After trying a more traditional boarding facility last summer, I was nervous to leave our pup again. Paws & Pals is amazing! I had a last minute inquiry about watching my puppy for the following day. They were so prompt with their response and were able to accommodate him. Asher was happy the second he stepped into their home and I could tell he was in good hands. Usually he cries quite loud when I leave. He was completely fine. When I picked him up he was happy to see me but also didn’t want to leave, He tried to steal their slippers on the way out (sorry). 😂 I was very impressed with their care of Asher and thank them tremendously for fitting him in on such short notice. We will be back if they allow… since my dog was a bit of a thief… Thanks again!
We have had Jenna and Casey- owners of Paws and Pals, take care of and walk our dog Hazel while out of town. They have done an outstanding job with the 12 days that we needed their services. They provided pictures and comments on how the day went. Jenna and Casey did multiple drop in visits on our two pups while we were out of town. They were both very friendly and professional and very punctual as well as amazing communication and pictures the whole time we were gone. You could tell our pups were very well taken care of and given lots of attention and love! Would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again!
Kathryn has taken care of my cat Gibson on two separate occasions. She has come twice a day to administer medications and feed him. She always sends pictures and videos so I can see he is happy and well cared for. It is wonderful to have someone who I can trust and count on.

My husband, myself and our pup just moved to the SE area and we were stressing on finding a doggy daycare. We both work all day and didn’t want our pup to be home alone; he has a lot of anxiety & especially separation anxiety. We found Mary Ellen’s daycare and immediately she sounded like a good fit. We’ve been taking our pup to her for about a month now and it’s been going great! We were really concerned that his anxiety would be an issue and that maybe it’d be a bit much for Mary Ellen, but she quickly dispelled those fears. She’s been working with our pup and helping him adjust to the new routine and has been incredibly kind and patient. We’re so grateful to have found Mary Ellen ☺️☺️☺️
We LOVE Wag Along! Our pup has been going there for a while for daycare and comes home happy and exhausted. We've also boarded her there and had a great experience. Mary Ellen is knowledgeable, flexible and reliable, and it is such a great spot for our pup to spend some time each week! Our girl can be a little nervous to leave us (she grew up during pandemic stay-home orders), but warmed right up to going! I know how much she loves it by her excitement when we pull in for drop off & at the end of the day, she usually doesn't want to leave! We consider Wag Along her second family and highly recommend them for boarding or daycare :)
I feel grateful to have found this day care/boarding location for my pup! I’ve brought my pup there for day care and I’ve boarded her for as long as 5 days. My dog always leaves happy and tired from playing with all the other wonderful dogs. I trust that Mary Ellen keeps a watchful eye over all of the dogs while they are under her care. Mary Ellen is excellent at communicating with me and I feel 100% comfortable leaving my puppy there. I would highly recommend!
Mary Ellen is the best. We always leave our dog with her when we're away and have been doing so since 2016. As soon as we pull up outside her house, she starts whimpering to get out and join her friends. Mary Ellen has two dogs of her own, Margaux and Rou, both wonderful golden retrievers who our dog adores. They're kind of like benevolent older siblings to her. I often think our dog has a better time than we do — home away from home!
I took my anxious 1 year old puppy to Wag Along to try to help with her separation anxiety and socialization. Mary Ellen took extra good care of her and within a few weeks Bootsy was more confident and well behaved and she loves going to see Mary Ellen and to play with the other dogs. I appreciate how very easy drop off and pick up is, and that my pup is still clean at the end of the day. Mary Ellen is kind, responsible and the price is right.
We’ve taken our energetic 1.5 year old heeler Sylvie here since the beginning of the year, been a very positive experience. Space-wise it’s essentially a house & yard, rather than the typical warehouse type areas of other doggy daycares. We appreciate the fact that the owner, Mary Ellen, has been doing this a long time and is very hands-on – it’s good to know our pup’s with someone experienced & who really cares about both the animals & how things are run. She’s flexible and the whole process has been super easy. Price is pretty standard. Our dog is fairly high strung and at first she had a lot of anxiety about being left there. But after a little while she got over it, now it’s fun to watch her excitedly run to Mary Ellen & all her doggy friends in the morning. I think the daycare has actually helped out her maturation process. Mary Ellen sends video clips and/or photos during the day showing them playing & lounging around, which is fun for a doting dog parent like me. The pup comes home happy & tired. We just do part-time right now - to socialize Sylvie & keep her company while the humans work, also to create a familiarity in case we ever have to board her there sometime for travel. Highly recommended.
We love having our Sully with Mary Ellen. We never worry about him when he’s there. We use daycare and board with her when we are out of town. He is always excited to see her and she takes such good care of the pups in her care. Recommend her 110%.
Mary Ellen takes such good care of my baby, I never worry at all when she’s there. My dog was super timid before she started going about a year ago and now she’s so happy to go see her friends each time. Mary Ellen watches a nice variety of sizes and breeds, so she’s exposed to all kinds of dogs, which is helpful for the real world. I literally don’t know what I would do without her. We love Wag Along!
Mary Ellen is amazing, I’ve been trusting her with my dog for a while now. I recently used her for boarding, and she went above and beyond when taking care of my dog. I had to drop off my dog right after being injured and Marry Ellen took her with out hesitating. She gave her her meds and cared for her like I would have. She even sent me frequent updates and pictures to help ease my anxiety. I truly don’t think you will find a more caring pet sitter in the Portland area!
