Don and Beth went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, preparing their home with everything we could possibly need. Their thoughtful preparation and warm hospitality made this an incredible experience. Their home is extremely comfortable, with ample space and a beautifully designed outdoor screened in deck, perfect for dogs and humans alike. The outdoor deck has a doggie door that leads to a fenced-in backyard for Scout to come and go as she pleases, while humans have a hammock, sofa, and table to enjoy while still being able to observe where the princess is. I highly recommend this opportunity to anyone looking for a top-notch house and dog-sitting experience!
We had a great time sitting Hazel for Justin and Subitha over the weekend. Hazel is a gorgeous girl and absolute delight to take care of. She is calm, incredibly well behaved and very loving and sweet. We both connected so well with her and felt very sad saying goodbye. Hazel has a wonderful temperament and has been trained extremely well. She is the perfect companion and enjoyed jogging, running errands, visiting the market, cafes and restaurants with us and has happy napping or entertaining herself while we worked at home. Justin and Subitha’s home is stylish and comfortable and our contact with them from the outset was great. Clear instructions for Hazel were given and we had a meet & greet ahead of the sit by video call. Thanks so much for welcoming us into your home Justin and Subitha!

The house is very well located, in a very nice neighborhood. The bedroom for the sitters is very comfortable and clean. The house is amazing! Stephen is very kind and Rosie is a sweet young lady. We will never forget the time we spent with her. We miss her very very much! I definitely recommend Stephen to all sitters that wants to visit Brussels. I hope to come back one day.
Hindsight is one of the cutest, friendliest, full of personality cuddle buddy. One of the best experiences I’ve had and we formed a beautiful bond. Gemma is so kind, warm and sweet, it was so nice to meet her and talk to her, truly an amazing person with such a lovely heart. Hemel Hempstead is a great town, everything is very close by, everyone is really nice and helpful. The house is very welcoming and homely, very modern and still very true to its roots. This is the face my dog makes when we pull into the parking lot at Camp Bow Wow. I love the fact that when we leave town we can still keep an eye on Zeus through the cameras on their app. Everyone there is a pleasure to deal with and I feel at ease leaving my boy there.
My pup had his interview at CBW and passed with flying Colors.. it was a surprise that we could leave him there for a few hours.. which we did! And I could track him through the yard cams and he was having great fun making new friends! The care and love he got from the pup lovers there, was amazing! The facility is setup so well.. and happy employees, taking great care of the pups! Definitely going to be back soon! Don’t remember names of all the girls handling the show there, but definitely Ray and Hayley!
Camp Bow Wow is a great place for dogs to socialize and camp (board). I really love the screening process before they accepted my dog. And exam, which is a screening process is free - that right there is a great business model, because it brings me a peace of mind that my dog is happily and safely socializing with other dogs.
We have been coming here for a few months now and our dogs Shamous and Yeardley love it! The staff is so nice and they really care about the animals. I love getting pictures of the enrichment sessions and being able to watch them on the cameras! Definitely the best doggy day care in Reno!
The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I know my pup is well taken care of and gets so excited as we walk up to Camp Bow Wow. Scheduling is super easy on the app and I love that there are cameras so we can see how much fun he's having playing with ll the other dogs. Couldn't be happier!!
Well we took our dogs here today and unfortunately we will not be back. It was their first time so we watched the cameras to see how they were doing. My dogs were there from 9:45 - 10:30. As we watched the cameras we noticed not once was their human interaction with our pups. The girls in the yard just walked circles in their pj's. My smaller dog which is a frenchy approached her multiple times and nothing. No acknowledgement at all. We noticed another small dog trying to mount her multiple times and no one paid attention. We noticed our baby going to the window multiple times and she seemed to be acting weird. So we decided to go get them. Even they brought our frenchy out she was overheated gasping for air and it sounded like she was having an asthma attack. The second we walked out the front door she puked. We immediately gave her water which she drank immediately like she hasn't had any water. We got her in the car immediately with the air blowing on her and eventually she was ok. Or other pup also had foam all around her mouth and was thirsty as well. They originally wanted us to leave or pups for 3 hours. I honestly feel like if we had she would've been dead or at the vet. Just an hr there was bad enough. I do not recommend.
I LOVE Camp Bow Wow! The animals are treated so well and you can tell they are loved. The indoor and outdoor play areas are a great feature. Being open weekends is just the icing on the cake.

Brought our sweet but very timid dog, Coco, to camp bow wow so that he could socialize with other dogs and get the play he needs while we do our thing and he LOVED it! I’m constantly nervous about him so the cameras to watch him are always super nice! When we picked him up he was tired and seemed very happy. I’m not sure her name, but the lady who checked us in when we dropped him off was super sweet!

I’m a first time customer of On Command. We brought our two Portuguese Water dogs in for grooming. The staff was welcoming and kind. The place was spotless and didn’t smell of dog like so many other facilities do. They did exactly what I asked of them. My pups came out beautifully groomed. It was obvious they put a lot of time and effort into making my dogs look and feel fabulous. They seemed relaxed and not overly stressed by the experience. I feel confident giving On Command 5 stars and will refer others to the business.
Our first time using On Command for grooming of our 10-lb Maltese. It went great. Lovely outcome and Mia was handled beautifully.
On Command was fantastic both in outstanding customer service and knowledgeable/skilled groomer. It exceeded my expectations by far. And, my 9 1/2 month border collie looked beautiful. Had my pup there for about 8 days while I was out of town. The staff there was extremely helpful and looked out for my pup. When I returned, they gave my pup a bath (little extra to do that but worth it) and he looked very happy. They let me know that he was very well taken care of, ate all of his food as well as getting plenty of belly rubs from the staff! Could not be happier with how they watched him and took care of him. Will definitely do it again when I go out of town!
I LOVE On Command. Every staff member is kind and loving. I have taken my 8lb yorkie mix, Simone, to other dog boarding places in the past and she would hide in the back of the car every time we pulled into the parking lot. At On Command she jumps in my lap and cant wait to get out of the car! It gives me so much peace knowing she is happy and loved there! I took my little Yorky who's only about four months old to On command to be groomed for her first grooming. They were wonderful. Treated her very gently and knew how to get her to be still to groom her. I was very very impressed with everybody there and would highly recommend them.
On Command is so kind. We just moved near one of their locations, and have been trying to find a good grooming spot. We called and they squished us in for a nail trim without a worry. Then we set up his online profile and a groomer created an appointment for him- which I thought was today. Turns out it’s next week, and they still put in the effort to give him a good nail trim before our actual grooming session next week.
Thoroughly impressed with this business. They treated our puppies like family. The process was easy and even did a last minute accommodation for grooming with our puppies overnight stay. The cost was very reasonable. We will be using them every time we come to town now! THANK YOU!!!

My dog name is Apollo, him and I we were having a hard time finding something who new how to treat him right and had a Little bit of patience with him, long store short I call and talk to them about how my dog was so scared of anyone cut his nails, bath….. They explain me that is very important to them that any dog feels comfortable, so I took him for the first time 3 months ago, today was his 2nd time and all I can say is how thankful I’m with Isabel and Kylie. They are Amazing. My dog comes out happy. I definitely recommend them a 💯 to anyone that has dogs. Best in Reno.

I gotta say these people were awesome!!! I’m EXTREMELY picky about where my dog goes and always worry how he’s going to be treated. This is by far the best place he has EVER been groomed!! He looked, smelled, and felt AMAZING!!! 10/10 recommend going here! The staff were really nice and took great care of my boy! I refuse to go anywhere else, the price was also very affordable. My dog is 104 lbs Great Pyrenees. A lot of places charge up the butt for services of XL dogs. Way to go Animal Oasis😎🤗
They were able to look after my dog on Thanksgiving for all day day care for just around 30 bucks. My dog is old and with arthritis and were able to make a special accommodation for her to be alone. They made a tough situation work and she came out very happy. Thanks again. Have no problem recommending this place.
Today was our very first groom and I was so nervous my puppy Max wouldn’t do well but the groomer Chelsea was so amazing with him he did great and he looks so cute and clean a brand new boy. I will only come here from now on the price was perfect thank you animal oasis!!!!! She even called me half way through to let me know how he was. I like that they do curbside as well
10/10 All the folks that work here are so kind. I feel like they love my dog just as much as I do, and they are miracle workers on a husky that runs and hides if I even bring out a grooming mit at home.
THE BEST DOG DAYCARE AND BOARDING IN TOWN! FULL STOP! We have tried so many places in the area and Animal Oasis exceeds the others in every way. Wonderful staff that treat our dog as if he were their own. Amazing service, reasonable pricing and our dog absolutely cannot wait to run inside every time we take him. He loves it. Comes home exhausted every time. They also have a great groomer that gets our dog smelling fresh and all flooffed up for a reasonable price.

I have been a customer at Animal Oasis for the last 3 and a 1/2 years. My dog Danny Boy and I are very satisfied with the care he receives. They are always available to receive my dog every morning before work. I have had the opportunity to leave him for extended stays or for a short few hours. One of the best things that I like about Animal Oasis. Is that he gets the ability to run out his energy and come home and sleep.
We have such great things to say about Animal Oasis! We had been taking our pup Kiwi for daycare and a few baths/boarding nights while living in Nevada. So thankful that we found a place who takes such great care of kiwi. You can tell they love your dog as if they are their own.
Boarded my pup for 2 nights. First time he has been away from our family for more than a few hours. The staff was amazing. Even though I could tell they were busy, they took the time on a few occasions to take my call checking up on our dog. Even offering to call me with a follow up after the first night. We picked up, and he was nice and clean. He has been exhausted ever since. In a good way. I can tell he had a great time. Thank you Animal Oasis.
We just got our little doggie back from Animal Oasis after a brief vacation and was thrilled at the care that she received. In the past we have had some very bad experiences with kennels which has made it difficult to travel. Nicole and the good people at Animal Oasis just loved our little doggie and it showed in the exquisite care that she received. Our doggie had to go into Animal Oasis for a few hours so that the staff could see if she would be compatible with the other dogs there. They are very meticulous at creating a supportive environment for all in their care. They followed our feeding and medical care instructions perfectly.
Our two labs just returned after spending 18 days at "summer camp" at Fantasia. The staff, as always, is great to work with. Our labs were tired but happy and looked GREAT!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business to our friends.
Dr. Fisk is an amazing vet. He went above and beyond for my fur baby bubba. I can not recommend him enough to anyone looking for a Dr. for their fur babies!! Brought my baby in for possible uti and ended up wit a bladder obstruction. And they did the best they absolutely could to help my baby with the very limited amount i was able to afford. And i believe with out a doubt they went above and beyond. I will be continuing any care with any of my fur baby’s with him! I can’t thank you guys enough for everything!
Fantasia Pet Resort is absolutely amazing and saved my puppies life. When we brought in our puppy first thing in the morning Dr. Rob immediately swept him away to begin running test. Throughout the day Dr. Rob provided updates on his status and found that he required treatment ASAP for a virus. Even throughout the evening the doctor continued to check in on him and provide updates on his status. Thankfully we were able to bring our boy home the following evening. Dr. Rob continued to check in with me on his status which was reassuring. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
My dog is a heathen and needs a lot of play time. I found Pet Fantasia on Google and thought, well...the daycare price is actually really good at only $20 for a full day for my terrorist to unleash her rath on other unsuspecting, and probably very nice, well trained dogs. The facilities are clean and nice, the staff is amazing, and the creature comes home exhausted! She gets so excited when I her drop off and I'm 99.9% sure she's depressed when I pick her up. I love this place for her so much that I boarded her for over Thanksgiving vacation for 10 days! Again, she was depressed to see me so I know she had the time of her doggie life! Highly recommend this place!!!
Our Dog loves it here. He goes twice a week for doggie daycare. It has helped his social behavior immensely and the folks are great with him. He now acts around them, how he acts around us, which he has never done. We will definitely be boarding him there when we have to leave town.
Spoke with someone over the phone to set up boarding for the first time with our dog. Never done it before, so I needed some guidance. The person on the phone was very nice, and walked me through the process. I agreed to set up a profile online. And send records. Which I did immediately. I was told no temperament test was required. But I opted to bring my pup in for daycare, to see how he does. They had availability for the time I needed, so I moved forward. We agreed that I would bring in the dog Tuesday, then finish setting up boarding. Fast forward to today (Tuesday), and I brought the dog down. And was told there is no availability. Now all the pet boarding places in Reno are booked, and I get to cancel the vacation I have been waiting 1.5 yrs for. Thanks...

Your pet is not just another number at Fantasia. Ive had many vets in my life, but NONE have ever been as focused and caring (generally always speeding through to get to the next number and overpriced as well), but Dr. Fisk and the wonderful staff in the clinic at Fantasia are full of compassion and they take the time to help you understand, and it feels like FAMILY when you come here. The front desk staff moved mountains to get me in on emergency situations. They are kind and helpful and not cold and robot like as most other vet staff can be. When it comes to our fur babies, I think that is sooo important. Dr. Fisk spayed my cat and when it came time for my 17 year old chihuahua to cross the Rainbow Bridge, it was like my family was there to send her off with me. I CANNOT express to you that 5 stars is just NOT ENOUGH. If you are reading this, I want you to know that with Dr. Fisk and all of the staff at FANTASIA, your pet is safe, loved, and in VERY good hands. ❤️
Would not ever take my dog back to Fantasia's veterinarian! Took my dog to the their vet (Jacob Fisk) for a routine teeth cleaning also had to have extractions, when picking up my dog she was not walking right on her hind end, was told it was the anesthesia, it was not , my dog now has nerve damage and is knuckling on the left leg, after 2 weeks she is not any better! now she has to see a neurologist plus phsical therapy, and I dont know if she will ever be able to walk correctly again! , this has been very devastating to me , my dog was healthy, hiking with me every morning and very happy before this!
I travel quite a bit and have a high energy and big dog and they work so well with him and never make me feel bad about having a high energy dog. The staff is so great and the prices are great. My dog always comes home exhausted and gets so happy when we pull into the parking lot. Always recommend here whenever people ask. I never have any worries while he's here and they have been helpful when needing to administer medicine. No complaints! We LOVE fantasia pet resort!!
I left my dog for the weekend and was very happy with the experience. Personalized interaction with my pet..NOT in a kennel or cage,which was important for us. Auntie Kim sent us pictures of her 'field trips' with the dogs, which was above and beyond! Upon picking up.my pet, she seemed happy and not in the least traumatized. I felt very comfortable with leaving my dog here and will do so again the next time I take a trip without my poochie. Thanks auntie!
I have left my dogs for several years with Aunt Kim for day care and overnight boarding. My dogs about jump out of the car when they realize where we are going. Since leaving them for board, this is the first time I have enjoyed my vacation .. previously, I did not until the last night knowing I would see them the next day. The dogs are allowed full access inside the house and outside. She takes them for field trips and KNOWS dog behavior. I adopted a very abused large year old "puppy" from the pound and was not secure if she (the dog( would be safe to others. Aunt Kim took her for the day and assured me the dog was.
We had to go to a Wedding last July this year and I remember seeing ad in park for Aunt Kim's. Our baby Tanjiro was there for 3-4 days and she updated us all with videos and pictures and gave us peace of mind. We def reccomend and next time we need to go again we will come to her. Auntie Kim is the best and our shiba inu Tanjiro loved all the fun he had over there! 🥰
In response to Alecia Richardson's review....Errands need to happen during business hours. People have been leaving dogs in cars for years! She knows what she's doing and would never put a dog in harms way. Rather than judging and writing crappy reviews... why not talk to her? If I could talk to your face I would - but I don't have that option. You did. This is just mean spirited babble.

Laura was the first pet sitter I've used for my beloved cat. I was gone for just over two weeks, and Laura visited as promised and posted pictures of my kitty on her web page so I knew all was well. Laura came over prior to my need for her services, and I showed her around the house and explained where everything was. I also explained my kitty's routine. She doesn't charge for the home visit prior to using her services. Once services begin, her charges are reasonable and she does an excellent job with food and water dishes, as well as litter boxes. She is committed to keeping in touch with owners while they are away. I felt comfortable having Laura take care of my cat, and I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.
We have used Laura many times. She sits for our 3 cats and 2 horses. She texts me to let me know everyone is ok which I love. I trust her in my home and with my animals. My house, even though clean when I leave, looks even cleaner when I get home which means she is meticulous cleaning up the litter boxes and cats' food items. I feel completely comfortable that she can do whatever my horses need. She is mature and her availability is perfect for us. I just can't say enough good things about her. Thank you, Laura!!!!
I hired Safe at Home when I had a professional conference to attend. Jen came by mid day to let the dogs out. I have three dogs, two of which are easy. My little poodle is another story. He is blind, wobbly and cranky. Jen was able to pick him up and carry him outside with zero drama. I am very happy with this service and will not hesitate to use them again.

Ashley is absolutely amazing! She's easy to work with, reliable and communicative. I recently had a baby and needed someone to watch our dog Sammy while we were in the hospital. Ashely and Rachel were able to coordinate a pickup and drop-off at our house - we left at 4am and I was so relieved that I didn't need to worry about our dog. Ashley sent updates with pictures so we knew she was doing well. Sammy loves spending time with her and the other dogs!
Ashley and Rachel are the absolute BEST! They take my pup, Bella, adventuring three to four times a week. She always has a blast, comes home completely tuckered out, and sometimes I wonder if she'd rather stay with them than come back home with me ;) I would absolutely recommend these gals for all your Tahoe dog walking/adventuring needs!
Ashley and Rachel have been amazing with my rescue pup, Budee. He gets so excited when they pick him up for hikes. They always send pictures or videos and give me updates on how Budee did on the hike. They are both very easy to communicate with and I highly recommend both of them!!
Our monstrous newfie pup is our child! We are very cautious about whose care we entrust him in. Rachel is Finn's very best friend, he would take her over us any day! She made us feel comfortable immediately, is so responsive, and is so very thoughtful. Each time Finn comes back to us he is so happily exhausted. The thought behind the adventure photos always makes me smile upon receipt. I almost don't want to write this for fear that Tahoe Adventure Pups will always be booked solid (they should be!); Rachel and Ashley are that amazing!

I had a great experience with Dena and Liz. I booked my appointment one month early before my trip, Dena called me and explained their process and logistics over the phone and sent me a confirmation after our chat. 1 day before my trip, Dena emailed me to confirm our appointment and called again the next day to make sure I understand how my dog will get picked up. Liz was our dog Walker for the day, she met with us on time to pick up my dog and took care of her for a day. She sent me texts, pictures and a video for status update throughout the day. At the end of the day, my dog returned to us on time as a happy and tired pup. I would definitely use this service again next time when we are in Truckee.

Just a warning to those folks who might use this service. Her 2yr old male pit-mix slipped his collar and attacked my 10 yr old female coonhound in a public place after we introduced them on leash. This dog apparently has attacked other dogs. Fair warning because she said she sometimes brings this dog to customer's houses (others that have used her service also said that Dena said she was going to bring the pit-mix on walks with their dogs). The pit-mix is at least a 60lb+ dog and luckily we were able to separate them within 30 seconds of the attack. My dog was really shaken up and has a large hematoma on her throat that still hasn't gone down even several days after the incident with medication. My dog is 55lbs, but if she was a small dog she would have sustained more serious injuries or could have died. Not sure if Dena got rid of that dog (Shiva), so make sure if you want to use this service to tell her that you do not want her dog at your house or around your dogs.
Really rude phone call. I wanted some information and a possible dog sitter and I was treated very rudely. edit: lol, over and beyond to meet our needs? A simple we don't have space to dog sit today would suffice. I don't need attitude about it being last minute. I understood it was a last minute request, I was simply calling to see if they had any space. It also wasn't all day, it was for a couple hours, I thought this was a professional dog sitting business, not some person sitting dogs in her backyard.
All I want is just an apology, but the woman over the phone is so rude and kept insulting me and refused to apologize. It’s a scam company. They asked me to pre-pay 2 days before the dog sitting service, and they disappeared on the day they are supposed to provide the service. The service I reserved should start at 10am today, I called them 4 times during 9am to 11am , no one picked up the phone, no response for my text. They just disappeared. They ruined my vacation and we have to cancel the following schedule of the day. They responded me finally at 11:30am, refused to apologize, and said the sitter don’t have my phone number so it’s all my fault, how is possible you guys don’t have my phone number despite the fact that I am was texting them and calling them a lot. And when you go over the registration process online, there is no steps to put in the phone number at all, so how dare you kept blaming me and said it’s all my fault?? The woman over the phone is extremely rude, she spend her whole afternoon blaming me and finding excuses for herself,” even after I begged her to stop texting me anymore, but she just refused to stop annoying me(please check our conversation) , this is the worst experience I have ever had in my whole life.
Dina's communication is excellent and she is 100% reliable. She has been taking care of my animals for last three years. Highly recommend.
I love got dogs 🐶. They always have last minute room for my dog when we go up to Tahoe. Weekends too! It takes away the stress when we go skiing or to a beach all day. My dog is always pleasantly tired when we return. …
Dena is wonderful. My dog absolutely loves her. She is reliable, kind and excellent with dogs.
We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and had a last minute emergency need for pet sitting services for 4 dogs. Dena jumped on it and found people to help us out. We were very grateful.
