What a peaceful sit! Maggie is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever met and Hazel, while shy at first, warms up so you'll see more of her darling face as days go by. Kirsten is a wonderful, easy-going host who will make sure you feel welcome and able to enjoy all that the area has to offer. Her home is beautiful - prepare to enjoy lots of natural light and take in the green of trees and pretty sunsets from a porch swing, all while being an easy drive from anything you need. If you like cycling, you'll adore being a short drive from the Katy trail, a rails-to-trails path that crosses the entire state, mostly under a tree canopy. I recommend this sit to anyone who loves dogs, cats, and nature!
I don't even know where to start writing this review, had the best time! First of all Dana and Gautam were such lovely humans and always super helpful and responsive if I had any questions. The flat was nothing short of perfect with everything you could need (including a life changing self cleaning litter tray!!) and two lovely big balconies making the flat feel so light and airy. Hamburg is such a wonderful city, especially with the gorgeous sunshine I was blessed with during my stay. Dana and Gautam's flat is in a lovely area of Hamburg close by to a lovely big park as well as plenty of delicious restaurants, supermarkets and cute bars/cafes. It's also a short distance away from other great neighbourhoods like Ottensen and Sternschanze. All this before even getting on to the perfect duo of Nimbu and Noodle! They were very chilled out and a dream to look after. Noodle's little face just melts your heart and he loved attention and playing with his toys (and the occasional fly for him to chase)! Nimbu took a few days to warm up to me but we definitely had a nice bond by the end of my stay. He was so so sweet once he felt comfortable around you with his cute little meow! I was sad to leave Hamburg and the kitties but I would definitely love to come back soon!
We loved being in the cute village of Paulersbury in Jill's historic renovated house. We learned so much there. The cats are fluffy and fun. Jill has a big heart that takes her to far away places doing volunteer work with stray animals. Great house sit.
Loki was one of the cutest and loveliest dogs we took care of. He was super easy. he loved playing the fetch or tug war but was equally content sitting next to you or behind you on the sofa. He house was beautiful and cozy with spectacular views of London. Needless to say, we had an awesome time. Meredith and Sam were very responsive and were always there to answer if we had any questions or issues. Thank you so much guys and hope to come back to spend some time with Loki again. xx
Staying with Bub and Yoshi was a joy! They are super friendly cats that love to snuggle. The location of the home was perfect! I loved walking to the East Atlanta Village and grabbing lunch and a coffee. Blair and Flip's home was so lovely. I really had a relaxing time. Thanks for a lovely stay guys!
Tina and David are super nice and accommodating. Walter and Mylee are the sweetest doggies with great personalities! They sleep through the night without a peep and love to cuddle!! We miss them keeping us warm at night. Walter is only 14 months old so he still gets a bit sidetracked on his walks but he is so smart that he will have that down soon! Mylee is so smart too and is super chill except if her brother gets her going. We were impressed with the fact that Walter is so good at only playing with and chewing on his toys. For his age he doesn’t bother anything else. We miss those two sweethearts! We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool would be great on the summer! Thanks for sharing your babies with us.
