My ESA pup and I had a truly wonderful sit at Daesha and Sean's home. Both homeowners are excellent communicators and so incredibly kind. Their house is located in a beautiful, quaint community proximal to various lush local parks and walking paths. Their home is wonderfully appointed with everything one could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. In both the front and back of the home are lush gardens teeming with flowers, fruits and vegetables. There are multiple places to lounge both inside and out that make this home feel like a true oasis in the city. Their three dogs are the biggest sweethearts ever and just want to love on you and be loved! They are each total cuddle bugs and love to spend time both outside playing and snuggled up with you. An ideal sitter for Daesha and Sean must truly love dogs. You should be comfortable and experienced with walking two large dogs simultaneously as well as caring for a senior dog with some mobility challenges who will require lifting up/down stairs or into a vehicle for travel. For anyone looking for a relaxing stay with three amazing canine companions, Daesha and Sean's home is the perfect place to land. We will miss them all dearly and look forward to keeping in touch!
Flossie: Firstly Flossie is an exceptionally sweet and adorable Cockerspaniel. She's the sweetest and most secure confident character. Incredily loving and peaceful. She's super playful also - an incredible balance- Passionately loves her ball, and ball games. Really awesome character. Hard to express what a beautiful character she is, such a wonderful gem. A huge delight to care for. The Home & location: The Home is absolutely exceptional. Situated opposite one of the key Skyline walks, absolutely stunning. The view from the home and garden are incredible- so so peaceful. Perfect for Flossie's adventurous spirit. The Host & Hospitality/ Communication The experience: John was also exceptionally heart warmingly hospitable, very kind and so good with communication. A real honour and privilege to care for the stunning home and Absolutely adorable and exceptional Flossie! Very Very grateful for the whole time. What a rare gem!!! Thank You.
I had a great time at Hellen’s looking after Douglas and the three amigos. Hellen is absolutely lovely. Very kind, trusting, and communicative. Her place has beautiful views over Lisbon and is in a fantastic area - close to great cafes, restaurants, and shops. Douglas is a big sweetheart and a lot of fun, and the cats were very sweet and easy to care for. I miss them already! Thanks again Hellen!
Sean's sit was great! Sean as a great host, communicative and easygoing. The house was comfortable and warm in Belconnen. Cosmo was a great easy cat to look after, along with the fishes. Recommended sit!
5 thumbs up! Our inaugural sit with THS was a HUGE success! Pre-communication with Lloyd & Margie was welcoming and informative. The pass off was fun in that we discovered multiple connections and interests. Sitting for Stella was an absolute delight. She is super friendly and easy going! We enjoyed stick throwing in the backyard and nice walks throughout their neighborhood. The trees were just turning - it was beautiful. Stella loves snuggles and back scratches. She has a sweet spot that really gets her tail wagging! The house was comfortable and it worked perfectly for remote work. Thank you Lloyd and Margie! If this is the standard for THS we are in store for great experiences. We appreciate you giving us this opportunity.
Michael and I had a great sit at Juhi and Joes. Communication before and during the sit was excellent. Both Joe and Juhi were very friendly and open. We arrived an hour before they were due to leave on their trip and they showed us around their home. Juhi left us clear instruction on feeding and the routines of Chilli Pepper and Spring Onion. We nicked named the kittens the munchkins. They made us laugh with their antics being young kittens. They would regularly do zoomies around the house, which supplied us with many hours of entertainment. As the kittens are young they are indoor cats. They were easy to look after, we just needed to be around to make sure that they were fed four times a day, and change the litter tray on a regular basis. The house was lovely, spotlessly clean, had everything that you needed. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable. We did have a car but we very rarely used it. The house was only a 25 minute walk into the centre of York. We walked many steps and on occasion got the bus back which stopped right outside the house. It cost £2 for the trip each. We would highly recommend this pet/house sit. If asked to do this pet/house sit again we would not hesitate to do it again. Sue and Michael Arbuckle
