Anna and Paul
This was a really great house-sit and I would recommend it without hesitation. Anna and Paul were always very promp with communication prior to my arrival and very kindly met me at the train. The house is situated within a few minutes walk into Woolhope village and there is a terrific range of walks right at the front door. The cats are friendly (one being a little shy at first but came around soon enough) and Seamus the Lurcher was a great mate ...keen to walk and even happier to run when we could find a safe place without the distraction of deer/hare! It was a pleasure to see a dog enjoy running and he can go like the wind! I have got close to a number of dogs since house-sitting but Seamus is easily one of the nicest dogs I have met (though don't tell Max or Benson!). He is well trained and walks on lead really well. I miss him very much. As for Woolhope its a very peaceful village with one pub which doubles as a Post Office between 12-2 on Tuesdays (go figure!!) but there are no shops. There is a bus once a day into Hereford a nice market town so getting shopping in was not a problem. Anna and Paul also thoughtfully asked neighbours to offer a lift if driving in and this was much appreciated. There is a farm shop within 15mins walk and the pub in Woolhope and another 15 minutes away serve meals. A car would be handy to explore further afield and get Seamus to some new adventures, but the sit is easy enough without one. Thank you both for a really nice place and good company to prop for a few weeks. All the best.

Carolyn
It was a real pleasure to stay and look after Kaya, Izzie, and Lilou. Carolyn and Michel are absolutely lovely and their home is very comfortable and welcoming. I spent three weeks there and didn’t want to leave! Kaya is a very sweet girl, very calm, easygoing and cuddly. She’s very low-maintenance - you just need to keep an eye on her on walks so that she doesn’t eat everything she finds. Izzie loves couch cuddles and has the most soothing loud purr and both cats have just the softest fur. Lilou kept to herself a bit more but still loved to be petted when she chose. It was a dream to take care of this home and animals - I would absolutely recommend.

Angela
Ninja and Flash are chilled, gentle, affectionate, friendly, well-behaved, minimal-maintenance cats. An absolute pleasure to look after.

Angela is a very friendly, easygoing, good communicator, and accommodating host. A real pleasure to "work with".

The location is fantastic, right on the beach and facing the beach. Sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine watching surfers and listening to the crashing waves is one of life's greatest pleasures.
