what a wonderful sit! Agatha communicated very well and had a complete house guide for the pets and house. It was such a lovely experience to get to know Agatha (and her adventurous spirit) before her trip and she made us the most amazing meal! The house and surrounding have been beautifully restored and is extremely clean and modern while keeping the original charm of the original style. Agatha has orchards of trees from lemon, almond, fig, dates, olives and other citrus, my husband enjoyed eating almonds from the tree! We loved the cats, especially Dushi who was always up for a brush and food, It was nice to see the other cats getting comfortable with us and letting us pet them. The finca is so comfortable we didn't even leave some days and instead read books on the patio listening to the palm trees. The pool was also very refreshing in the evening and is easy to clean.
Torre Pacheco is a agricultural area growing artichokes, squash and melons so the house is very private!! Grocery, household, cell phone stores and restuarants are an easy 5 minute drive although a more fit person (not me) could use a bicycle. Roldan is another town the same distance and has great restaurants and an amazing charity thrift shop where you can find just about anything very cheap.
The city of Murcia and Cartegena are all about 20 minutes away and have amazing cultural sites while the Mar Menor, La Manga and San Javier are all about the same distance to go to the beaches. Agatha kept in contact and gave us AMAZING recommendations throughout our sit.
Even when we went to adventure, we loved coming home to the kitty village and may come back just to visit Agatha as we had made a new friend!

Sujeewa
Sujeewa's home was in a beautiful village, with lots of walks and bike rides to other cute little villages nearby. The shops and restaurants were a 5 minute drive and there's a country pub on the cricket green which was lovely. Their home was clean and tidy and a beautiful garden to sit and relax in with the dogs.
Sujeewa let us know all the details about the house and the dogs so we weren't left surprised.
Pixie and Troy were absolutely fantastic, wonderful characters, making us smile every day. They walked well and behaved in the house and garden, providing us lots of love :-) We would love to meet them again in the future.

Natasha is very welcoming and easy going, and being at her charming little place (I took some decorations ideas) with pretty Blanca was a relaxing getaway weekend for me.
Blanca is very cuddly but also love to have her quiet space to take a nap. She loved going on a walk to the nearby park and going in the car for around about in the area.
It was great meeting them both!

We’ve spent a month housesitting in Melbourne in the house of Victoria and it was a wonderful time because the two dogs Kobe & Keira are absolutely lovely.
They want to spend a lot of time playing, cuddling, and running. We already miss them just a few days after the end of the sit.

The house is spacious and perfectly located, in north Melbourne, with a tramway/train station within a few minutes walk, and shops/market a few minutes driving.

We also had the chance to use their car, which was very nice and useful.

The communication on whatApp with Victoria was very nice, if we ever needed help with something while they were away.

Would highly recommend.

Cheers,
Elena & Adrian

Marge and Willow were great fur companions - I so enjoyed playing and cuddling with them. Katie and Kevin have a lovely spotless apartment in a fun vibrant neighborhood. I really enjoyed the restaurants and coffee shops they recommended. Katie was very hospitable and gracious. She kindly picked me up from the transit drop-off, welcomed me with a gift and responded warmly and helpfully to any concerns. This is a great location for enjoying Seattle. I highly recommend Katie, Kevin, Marge and Willow.

Pico was such a big sweet baby!! He could be a little naughty, running away from us in the garden when it was time to come in 😂, but that was the worst of it. Otherwise he was a big fluffy sweetheart who loved his long walks. Ben and Eloise were wonderful house hosts. We were lucky to get to have a lovely dinner together our last night. They were also so kind when I missed my flight the following day. A lovely family all around!
