Pat and Jim are our go-to sitters for a reason! If they were local, they'd be some of our best friends. As it is, they live across the state but used to live here so know the landscape. They send pictures and updates, they even give us a spreadsheet on walks, meals, and let us know about anything out of the ordinary (one dog vomited during one stay but they took care of it.) We trust them in our home and with our furry children. In fact, they've become professional pet/home sitters since retiring but have plenty of energy to take on your go-go pets. Book them as soon as you can, I know they're in demand.
This is one of those “I would give her 10 stars if I could!” reviews. Alex is a top-notch, one of a kind sitter! She sat for us for 2.5 weeks while we were out of the country, making this our longest time away from home using zeewoi. From our initial zoom meeting, I could tell that Nyala and our apartment would be in great hands with Alex, and we felt confident that she was the perfect person to have sit for us. During and after the sit we were impressed with everything! Here are some things that stood out to us: -She came by the day before the sit to do a walkthrough and to meet us and Nyala. -She put Nyala first and made sure she was comfortable and well cared for throughout the sit- she even put on “Cat TV” for her. They also instantly became best friends and Nyala spent no time being shy around her (they quickly became cuddle buds). -She sent detailed updates and pictures and was great at communicating. -A maintenance team needed to come by the apartment at the start of the sit and she greeted them and in our absence and dealt with them professionally. -She is self-sufficient, innovative and attentive to detail, letting us know if anything was concerning. -She kept our plants healthy and brought in packages (she even went looking for one that was delivered to the wrong place). -She left our place SUPER clean and even sent us details of what she did to prepare for her departure on the final day. -She was nothing but professional but also enthusiastic and caring at the same time. -She goes above and beyond. She had amazing energy and we felt so lucky we got to meet and host her. More importantly, she took the best care of Nyala (and our place) and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you, Alex, for all of your help, we appreciate it more than you know. I would recommend her to anybody and know that she will rock any sit she does! I know that our kitty had a blast and I’m sure misses Alex already. We hope to have Alex back one day! :)
Esmeralda and Luke are such great house and pet sitters. They did a great job taking care of our pets and house and were great in communication. They were not shy about asking questions to clarify. They came early to the sit to meet our pets and to get to know us as well. They also did a great job leaving the house in a better condition than we left . Thank you Esmeralda and Luke.
