Beautiful apartment and beautiful dogs. Conveniently located just off the freeway exit. Cute little neighborhood with shops and restaurants just walking distance. It was a great way to spend our time in San Diego.
Richard and Cathy have a beautiful home located just northwest of Del Rio in the desert. They took time to orient us on the area before leaving on their trip. We took both the dogs and cats on twice a day walks on their neighboring property which allowed us to search for wildlife and spring flowers. The chickens gave us an egg everyday, and knew their routine well. We were visiting a son in the Air Force, and we had enough room to entertain his family and put our granddaughter up for the weekend. The neighborhood is quiet and allowed us to bike, walk and run for exercise and exploration. We took drives on weekends to visit the various area sites, it is rugged and beautiful. Richard and Cathy are very welcoming and gracious people, trusting us to care for and love their animals and their place, which overlooks the international border. We are sure our relationship will continue to grow, and we recommend their housesit to others who will be visiting southern Texas and the Rio Grande area.
Even though we has a short handoff, Robert was very responsive to all our questions. The house has a fantastic view of Maggie Valley. The girls were super easy to care for. We enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend and happily return.
House & pet sitting for Ken & Irene was an enjoyable experience. I arrived the day before their departure and departed the morning after. They were very hospitable, friendly and answered the remaining questions that I had. They have a nice, spacious home with a gorgeous, serene view on the Bay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Riley is a sweet and gentle pup full of personality. He seemed to really begin enjoying himself by the second day. He loved his walks, being outside, sitting in the backyard and enjoyed searching for things. I would be open to sitting again if the timing workout.
We had a lovely time in Macquarie Hills. Tracy left very detailed information and responded to questions very quickly. She also made us feel very welcome in her home. Kit Kat was a delight. She is such a sweet cat. We went and swam at Mereweather sea baths most days. It’s about a 20 minute drive and is a beautiful beach.
I had a great sit with Freya and Odin! They are the sweetest pups with very different personalities. Taneal gave lots of clear instructions in her welcome guide and even left sticky notes to help me find things. The house is so cute and the yard is awesome with lots of sitting areas. The neighborhood is quiet but close to a lot of things. The train was a bit of a walk but doable. I would do this sit again! Recommend!

WARNING!!! Security of your home may be compromised by using So Fetch. Details below: I used Ross with So Fetch since about March of 2024. He walked my dog, Ruby. Nothing seemed odd until the summer. One day I came home and saw one of my unopened 2-liter of pop was drank, and when I asked him he said he was hot and forgot to let me know. I shrugged it off but I did not know that would be the tip of the iceberg. I had two international trips this summer on which I paid So Fetch to water my plants while I was gone (my dog was staying with my friend). All he needed to do was water my inside and outside plants which should take about 15 min or less. I paid him the rate he charges to walk dogs 30 min. While a high rate for plants, I understand the rate is the rate. On this last trip I came home to a VERY DIRTY home. Ross knew my cleaner was coming 3 days before I got home and yet the house was gross. The floor sticks with crumbs. Dirty dishes in the sink and on the counter. He also ate some of my food and left his own food. (I confirmed via camera the cleaner came and Ross made a mess after and before she came). This perked my senses so I watched my dog camera to find he would be at my house for 8+ hours a day (even days he WAS NOT scheduled to water plants) AND HAD FRIENDS OVER! All of this was unacceptable and not approved by me. He had people over on MULTIPLE occasions and I even heard him mention to his friend how we “rented” our townhouse. He used our tv, used our utilities, left a dirty toilet and turned down the AC (which I’ll be paying for when the utility bill comes). Ross stopped talking to me - would not take my calls and stopped texting. (Pics attached of convo). Eventually he returned the key when my boyfriend started texting him. He still will not refund what I paid him. When he does I’ll update this review but he has not refunded as of now. My house and safety were compromised. I cannot emphasize enough how much your houses security will be compromised. Unspoken for guests is NEVER ok and staying at my house past midnight on multiple occasions and being here 8+ hours is not needed for the plants. Ross with So Fetch Denver is a SUPERSTAR. As a single woman in the city, it's important to be able to trust someone coming into your home and taking care of your pup.
