Elaine is a very nice lady and an experienced traveller and house sitter. She was flexible in dealing with both our early leaving on the first day, and our flight delayed late arrival back home (making us an evening meal and staying over an extra day). The house and our pets were well looked after and Maisie the dog clearly bonded with Elaine. Lovely clean and tidy place to come home to after tiring travelling back.
This was a truly lovely sit and one that we would whole-heartedly recommend. Bonzo was the most adorable wee thing - he made us laugh so much, he took everything in his stride, was really well-behaved and loved cuddles. He was also happy to sit on the back step in the sunshine or on the back of the sofa watching the world go by. He travelled well in the car and enjoyed going to the beach. He doesn't like other dogs or the sounds of cars so our favourite walk with him was to drive just down the hill to the beginning of the nearby causeway then walk around the side of the lough up into the forest the far side. This was about 5k which Bonzo managed at a happy trot off-lead in all weathers. We left him a couple of times for up to 3 hours and he was absolutely fine; (I don't think he actually stirred at all as we found him in the same position upon our return). He is the most adorable bundle of scrumptiousness and we really miss him already! Róise was really great - warm and friendly, easy to communicate with, gave us lots of ideas of things to do locally and she made us feel so welcome. Her home is lovely: warm and comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, the bed was blissful and the WiFi was excellent. And the views were, quite simply, breath-taking - Mount Errigal rising up from one side and out across the glen and mountain range the other side. Just wow wow wow! We had to tear ourselves away from the back terrace to get anything done! A couple of useful things to note - there is a petrol station with a small handy shop at the top of the road but we recommend doing a more extensive shop before you arrive. We got more provisions part-way through from Dungloe about 20 mins away which has a few supermarkets including Aldi and Lidl. Also there is no downstairs TV so if you like to watch something in the evening, bring a screen with you. Róise has lots of books and honestly, with a view like that, you will spend a lot of time just gazing! We whole-heartedly recommend this sit opportunity. It was a pleasure to stay with the genial Albert in Zoe's stylish home. Bert is an easy-going, open-hearted chap and was on my lap snuggling within moments of his parents' departure. I really enjoyed his company. I also took the opportunity to visit the nearby Horniman Museum, spending an hour or so in its beautiful gardens. This was a comfortable and relaxed sit, recommended.
We loved our sitting here, Natalia and Daniel were as lovely as Lucy. They all were really nice. They explained to us everything we could need and the house had everything you need. Munich is a really good place to visit. We enjoyed every last bit of our trip.
I had the pleasure of housesitting for Noreem and Darell for a week and a half. Reggie is a wonderful dog and I’m going to miss him. The house is cosy in a quiet safe area with shops and public transport close by. Also, I feel I’ve gained two friends - and a four legged friend too. I can highly recommend this to any other house sitter and I would love to come back.

Rob and Shannon are welcoming, nice people. They were wonderful communicators before and during the housesit. Their home is located in a great spot of Baltimore where there are a lot of pocket parks, a dog friendly cafe, and walkable to many attractions. They share a gated area with their neighbors where dogs can run around and play with one another. Rayven is such a sweet boy. When he gets excited to see you he grabs a toy and wiggles around the house while he “sings.” He is very chill and will mostly rest next to you if you’re hanging around the house. He also gets in moods where he wants to play fetch and gets excited about his toys. Rayven loves meal time, I’ve never met a dog so excited to eat his food. It’s very cute. Smokey is not your typical cat. He is a cuddly boy that loves belly rubs. Mostly, Smokey does his own thing, but if he’s feeling it, he will come cuddle and talk to you. Had a nice time and miss the boys already!

Elena is a wonderful person and fabulous with animals. She has been taking care of my rescue dog since 2019, and I feel so lucky to have found her! Elena follows any specific directions exactly (including leaving certain lights on etc.) - she even goes so far as to do extra things if she thinks it will help, like giving fresh water if the bowl is running low. Elena is wonderful!! She took care of our 2 dogs (including our special needs diabetic dog who requires insulin shots) during a family vacation. Elena is the only person I trust with my elderly, chronically ill cat. She’s incredibly diligent about administering all of her supplements and medications (which can be tedious), and always makes sure to check in if anything changes or if she has questions. Elena always sends pictures of my cat and her prepared food bowls at every visit (and of the empty bowls to show that she has eaten well!) — this really puts my mind at ease when I can’t be there to take care of her myself! She is always trustworthy and reliable — in two years she has never been late or missed a visit — which is the most important quality in a pet sitter. It’s a bonus that Elena truly cares about my little one’s wellbeing and is respectful of my home. It’s a big deal to trust someone with your house keys in NYC, and I would recommend Elena to anyone without hesitation! Elena has watched my senior dog twice and he absolutely loved his time with her. She sent me lots of updates with photos and videos and she managed all of his medications without issue. The best thing about Elena is that you can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she’s with and in the few days she first spent with my dog, they developed a bond. Elena is wonderful! I highly recommend her, I loved that she took time to come over and meet my dog Theo before my trip so that they could meet in his home where he was most comfortable. This past week was the first time that I had left Theo with a dog walker who wasn't family, so I was a bit nervous, but Elena was extremely communicative and sent lots of photos every day. She even FaceTimed me on the first night because Theo was a little skittish, but then he warmed right up to her! She walked him twice a day and fed him, and I appreciated that she was always quick to text if she had a question or needed clarification to make sure Theo was fully taken care of.
Love the Perfect Pooch. I found them through Google and Yelp reviews and the reviews are so accurate. I was so worried as a new dog owner and they treat my dog with such care. They started watching him before he was fully vaccinated so more pet sitting and they were fantastic. I got tons of updates and pics and they truly care for the pets. They’re great about notes and requests and did a great job feeding him and keeping him entertained. I most recently tried their overnight service which was fantastic and didn’t disrupt my puppy’s routine. I always feel like my dog is cared for by folks (especially Joy!) who love dogs and take extra care to treat my puppy with kindness -highly recommended.

Maggie is pure joy. She's also a 55lb diva who needs a long walk every day to keep her being a pure joy as my workday co-pilot. I had a scary experience with a solo dog walker, and then I found Leeland, who heads the Perfect Pooch. Lili, Gable, Raeven and sometimes Leland herself walk Maggie both alone, and sometimes with great buddies. I've seen them outside from a distance, and know how Maggie is super excited when it's time for their arrival. Maya stayed with Maggie while we were away, too. I feel confident and very comfortable knowing Maggie gets her walk (no matter the weather). The portal is very easy to use for communication, and payment, too.
I have been using perfect pooch for cat sitting for several months now. They have watched our cats during several trips. It is easy to schedule via their app, they are reliable, take good care of our cats, and always send follow up notes and pictures. As an added bonus - they also leave our apartment tidy - vacuuming up litter and taking out the cat food tins.

My experience with The Perfect Pooch has been overly positive. The business owner is very responsive, and helps to do all booking, scheduling, payment, and messaging through a commonly used app. All employees have been trustworthy in my home, including the business owner who shares in the workload during busy weekends. Employees are largely detail oriented as well as cat-friendly and very patient even in the face of very shy cats who can lock themselves in a room.
I've been using The Perfect Pooch NYC for about a year now, and they take the BEST care of my little chihuahua! He was a COVID puppy, so I hadn't had to leave him with a walker/sitter before, but Leeland and her team are so professional, caring, and warm that I felt comfortable instantly. My dog be a little feisty (to put it nicely) but he adores his walker Ashley, and she keeps him happy and in check on their daily Central Park walks. The pet boarding service was amazing. Dana was in constant communication with us, sent photos and made sure our dog was very comfortable. She picked him up and dropped off at our apartment which was very helpful due to our travel plans. I recommend this service!
Dana is amazing! My husband and I moved back to the city with our 1 year old puppy, Zelda, last summer. She was a nervous wreck and everything scared her. We needed a dog walker and Dana was the answer. Zelda loved her from day 1 and Dana has helped her feel more confident and secure. Having Dana walk our very big energetic puppy for a full hour at noontime has been a god send for us! Charlie loves to see Dana. He’s so excited to see her he practically jumps up into her arms (all 70 pounds of him) and when he comes home from his walk, he’s happily exhausted for the rest of the afternoon - so I can work! Dana’s reliable and personable, communicates really well and sends me photos of their adventures real time.
Our beloved Kobe is our number one priority and we could not be happier with the services that we have received from Noah's Arc. First of all I feel like I known Dana forever. She is beyond lovely!! We are new members of the family and feel so at home already. They are attentive, flexible, reliable and are available even in short notice. Our dog Waller Francisco has been so sweet and adoring with Kobe which totally melts my heart. He definitely goes the extra mile with her care which brings me such comfort and joy. Latoya and Dana have always been responsive and flexible, even when I’ve called them last minute minute; and Francisco and Patricia have probably given more attention to my cat that I usually do. Their daly emails and pictures show a very happy kitten, indeed!
Dana & co have cared for my cats, Buford and now Luna, for well over ten years now and inasmuch as I always worry when I travel , I always know the “kids” will be in good and loving hands. (I sensed it the second Dana came to meet Buford and me, what seems like, at least, nine lives ago.). As any feline co-habitant will admit, you always worry about the feline threat of revenge for “abandonment” but I always return home to a calm, happy and loving cat. Not to mention, Dana being there and going out of her way in an emergency. We cannot recommend Noah’s Arc more!!! 🐱🌙

Steve has been a life saver ever since he started walking my dog. Reliable, safe, fun, I know that when I’m at work and Steve has my dog I couldnt feel any better. They have gone above and beyond multiple times from doing a perfect job cleaning up if my dog had an accident in the crate, to just being aware of simple things around the yard, Steve will reach out and let me know. I would give them 6 starts if i could. I highly recommend Boogie n Pals!!!

We have a big energetic pup and a stop-and-smell-the-flowers little pup, and they're both always so excited to see either Steven or Evelin when they come to walk them (which is the most important review to us!) Steven and Wendy are also the sweetest people, and their organisation is second to none. Their online portal is so clear and detailed for those of us that like the extra info, and they're great about communicating and meeting you where you're at. Highly recommended!
Steve and Wendy provide an amazing service. We have a very strong 85lb Bernedoodle and they do a fabulous job walking and taking care of him (so does Evelyn). I love that they came over to meet him prior to starting their services and provide updates and pictures daily, Brody always looks so happy while on his walks. Their communication, scheduling and billing is super organized and they are always extremely accommodating. I highly recommend Boogie and Pals!
I have been using Boogie N Pal for dog walking service for over 6 months. Steve and Wendy are beyond accommodating to my chaotic schedule. Not only do they walk my pups but also feed them. Evelyn does most of the evening walks for us now and always takes great care of my fur babies. Excellent service and would recommend without reservation.

TWO BIG PAWS UP! Boogie N Pals are the best!Leaving your puppy at home when you go to work is traumatic - both for the puppy and the owner. Wendy and Steven put us at ease from the first day we met them. They came just to meet our puppy and were so calm and patient with her. Within a couple of visits and walks our little girl was happy and enjoying herself -- and we felt so relieved. Steven and Wendy send pictures and updates each time they come. Our puppy looks forward to their visits and we look forward to the pictures and videos. The two of them clearly have a way with dogs and have improved our puppy's walking as well. They are consummate professionals and we feel very fortunate to have them making our puppy's day so much fun when we can't be there. If you need someone to brighten up your puppy's day when you are away I highly recommend them!
I only use the daycare. I think they’re good. My only challenge is that my dog can get there at 8 am. They walk him at 12 but he stays until 7:30-8:00pm and you have to pay if you want extra walk.
River Pet is such a lovely place to board your pets. They have a very friendly staff and a kind insightful manager. Dr. Zelinski is amazing with animals! She has helped my cat return to a regular glucose level. Thanks to Dr. Zelinski, my cat has made a complete remission from his high glucose levels. We thank you so very much!

RiverPet is the best! Our dog LOVES it there. They offer free swimming - yes they have their own pool! Staff is amazing and they love all their guest. I know people from Manhattan who make the trip to Edgewater to board their pets here. A++++
If you have a "pitbull" type dog, get ready to be discriminated. I was told from the get go my dog wouldn't be able to join in at doggy day care which I wasn't too happy about but I accepted since it was their policy and my husband and I were in a pinch. I was assured however my dog would get plenty of walks to compensate for the time not allowed to run around with the other pups. Did that happen? Very unlikely. When my husband and I picked up our dog, his voice was nearly gone and he was acting very timidly which is unlike him. He's a very energetic and happy dog. When we asked whether he had been barking the entire time he was there, we were told, "Oh, no. He must've just heard you over the phone and started barking." BULLSH*T!!! I'm sure this place is great for lap dogs but if you have a larger dog, better find somewhere else. Definitely not worth the money.
It's like taking my girl to her other home. Staff is warm and loving towards our pets. Groomer Samantha is just wonderful as well as knowledge. I come from New York to have services at Riverpet!
Highly recommend Pascal (sorry if that's not the correct spellingof his name!) for grooming. He did a fantastic job on my very furry Siberian huskey!!! She was shedding really badly and took her in got an appointment right away really great staff and she look beautiful. Will deff be rebooking again and feel very happy with results and how nice the staff were. Thank you River Side pet you are the best! :)!!!!

Pedro is an excellent dog walker. I have recommended him many times to neighbors and friends without hesitation. He is very attentive, reliable, and caring. I have a senior dog that Pedro has been taking care of (because a great dog walker does more than just walk your dog) for the last four years. He is incredibly patient and loving as she begins to slow down in her golden years. I’m grateful everday I leave the apartment knowing Pedro will be there to exercise and spend time with my beloved dog.
I couldn't be happier with Pedro and Hot Paws Pet Care. My pup can be a bit of a handful so I was a bit nervous about finding a walker for her, but I knew from the moment I met Pedro that she would be in good hands! Pedro is *obviously* a dog-lover and has a lot of patience. He is also extremely communicative and reliable; he has NEVER not shown up for a walk and has never canceled on us. It is SUCH a relief not having to worry about my dog while I'm at work! I also always receive text updates about the walk, which is great. All I know is that my dog absolutely adores Pedro. BOTTOM LINE: You can't go wrong with Hot Paws Pet Care. P.S. While Pedro is our every day walker, I have met two other walkers with Hot Paws Pet Care and both were great, too! It was important to me that my dog could expect the same walker every single day, which Pedro accommodated, but for two days during which Pedro was out of town we had sub walkers. Pedro was gracious enough to give plenty of notice about his trip AND set up a time for me and my dog to meet the sub walkers beforehand to make sure everything would be good. SO appreciate Hot Paws Pet Care's commitment to its clients and the fact that it always puts the dogs first! THANK YOU!
We had Pedro dog-sit our 2 dogs at our wedding recently at Wave Hill in the Bronx. He was TREMENDOUS! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He was amazing to work with and such a great guy. He took phenomenal care of our dogs (1 big dog and 1 little dog). The dogs were honestly upset to be leaving his care at the end of the night. Pedro was a class act. He dressed incredibly well and was such a pleasure to work with. We were so happy we found him!
Pedro has been taking care of our Jack Russell since 2013 and she absolutely loves him. Since Pedro has been with us, we've noticed a reduction in our dog's anxiety around other dogs (and even people), and he and Vincent have always demonstrated a genuine care for her well-being. Pedro is a total professional and a pleasure to work with. He took care of our cats while we were away for the holidays. Pedro and Vincent have been walking my large, lazy dog for nearly 2 years. He is professional, flexible and easy to work with. He is always cheerful and pleasant and really cares about our dog. Our dog can be quite resistant to getting off the couch to walk during the day - especially in the summer or if it's raining - and Hot Paws can always get him happily out the door. They are awesome and a real asset to the neighborhood!
I hired Pedro to take care of my GSD while I was working out of state. Pedro did an excellent job taking care of my pride and joy. He promptly gave me updates every time he completed a walk and kept me up to date on his mood. I even got to FaceTime with my dog which I think help put both our minds at ease. Best dog walkers ever! The Bow Wow Boys always take the best care of our finicky little Frenchie. They've been faithfully and lovingly walking our crazy pup every day for over 2 years. Whenever we have to work a little late or go out of town, we always know that our fur baby is in great hands with the Bow Wow Boys. On top of all this, their online scheduling system makes creating and canceling services incredibly convenient. If I'm going to have to work late, I can schedule them to come over that night, walk, feed and snuggle with our little fur ball. Wish I could give them 100 stars! PS: They take the best photos of our little nugget on every one of her walks (a service they do for all dogs they walk).
I am just celebrating 3 years with Bow Wow Boys. Bob and Drew are AMAZING! They walk my boy every day and stay at my apartment with my cat and dog while I am away. I always know that they are in the best hands with these guys. They are like family to me and go to the greatest lengths to make sure all of their animals are taken care of and loved. The Bow Wow Boys are fantastic and took great care of our dog for over four years--from when she was a few months old to when we moved out of the neighborhood last month. One of our foster dogs was hit by a car and died due to negligence. The walker did not have his hand looped through the leash, bent down to coddle the dog when she was scared and she was hit by a car. Walking dogs is a huge responsibility. Coddling a dog when they’re scared is absolutely the worst thing one can do. Aside from this, the walker did not have his hand through the leash. This was a very tragic experience to say the least.

Crown Pet is an exceptional facility providing loving, expert care to all pets. We were pleasantly surprised to receive daily videos of our pet throughout the day, documenting his interaction with other dogs, walks, play time and feeding. It was our first time boarding our dog and Sarah and Susan made us feel comfortable to leave him- especially when we saw how well he was treated hands on! Their supervision is beyond anything we’ve seen in other facilities.
Absolutely amazing experience with Crown Pet! My dogs, Jaemee and Archie, spent a week boarding at their facility while my husband and I were on a trip. We were both quite nervous because they are not the easiest dogs to take care of. They are very sensitive, have little appetite, and have had limited social experience with other dogs & people. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see how comfortable they became with the teachers, staff& other doggy friends at Crown Pet. From the videos & photos they sent us everday, we could tell that our dogs were happy. Great pet loving people. I'm so glad this place opened back up as a pet facility. We use to frequent the old shop and our dogs were instantly comfortable when they returned to this new shop. We this far have used them for day care and boarding and our dogs loved it they have this futuristic hair drying machine where the dog sits inside and gets blown in all direction. It rained one day and our dogs got to experience it. The owner I met, Susan, is wonderful they really genuinely care for the well being of my dogs. The facility is clean and organized. It is also bright and cheerful. The owners also run a pet rescue because they are so committed to the animals.
I am very thankful to the whole team at Crown Pet for taking good care of my dog Luna. I had to board her for a week because we had to be out of the country. This is the first time she will be away from us so I was nervous. Susan recommended to have her socialize with the other dogs for a few days before boarding her. They sent pictures and videos of her everyday and I really appreciate it. They did a great job and I will definitely comeback for their service. Highly recommended.
Great place for pet boarding in Bergen County!! We brought our two dogs(Jadon and Mason) in before our month long international trip, and Susan’s team was more than accommodating for their stay. From daily and regular detailed updates (photos and videos of their meals, walks, playing, etc included), to top quality care during the entire stay, they made us not worried at all during our pets’ stay. During out pets’ first few nights they were feeling uneasy because they aren’t used to being in a new environment other than home, but Susan and her team carefully made sure that that they were staying healthy and made boarding feel like home. Later on it really seemed like our dogs were enjoying their time there! Thank you to Susan for making Crown Pet a wonderful experience, and for keeping in touch!
I’m so glad I found this place for boarding. They have indoor and outdoor areas where the dogs can get some sun (when the weather allows). My two dogs LOVE staying with Susan and her awesome team. They send me pictures, short videos, and updates on my dogs while they stay over there, which is lovely. They are not just a business, they genuinely care about our pets. We are so happy to have found a high quality doggie day care for our fur baby. Susan, Sarah, and staff show so much love, attention, and care to their four legged friends. The facility is clean, bright, and nicely decorated. My Bella loves going there, and I love seeing the videos and pictures of Her during the day. She has made friends, and seems so happy. We are so grateful for the team at Crown Pet! We have a miniature schnauzer that is very sweet, but she really needed good training because of her anxious behavior toward other pets. We had hired other trainers in the past, with multiple visits, but nothing seemed to work for her. Then, we had a private leash training with Sarah, which has made a big difference for Luna since then. And with just one day of training with Sarah, wow! She looked so much calmer and well-behaved. After that, Luna had her first daycare in their facilities, and to my surprise, she behaved well and was calm around the other dogs! I'm so happy to find them, Sarah, Susan, and all the team; they are very knowledgeable and compassionate. Thank you!
Susan and Sarah are the best! We took our foster here for their socialization class. We wanted to find a trainer that was familiar with Jindos as they can be a very difficult breed to train and socialize. Sarah was extremely knowledge and helped our foster overcome his fear. His aggression decreased and he had so much fun in class meeting other dogs (you can see in the video that he is playing with other dogs now! Previously he would be extremely aggressive). Sarah also provided us with a lot of useful tips and training techniques that we use in between our classes. She’s extremely responsive and you can really tell that she cares about our dogs like it’s her own. The facility itself is also very warm and welcoming. They have plenty of space for the dogs to play and socialize. We can’t wait to continue taking our pups to Crown pets. There’s truly no one else we would trust to take care of our babies. Highly recommend.
My dog Tofu comes here for daycare and boarding! He is having so much fun (maybe a bit too much!) and always excited to go! We receive constant videos/photos of him playing with friends. A tired dog is a happy dog! Susan, Sarah and the team are genuinely care about dogs (they even run a rescue) Highly recommended!
Dorothy’s Petcare is the best and most trustworthy place to leave your dog. I’ve been using them for years. Their staff is all incredibly kind and they take amazing care of my pup. The owners are very caring and wonderful to work with. My dog can be a bit of a challenging case and they take it all in stride. I think one of the best parts of this service is that they include relief walks for your dog in their service. This is not a common practice from what I’ve found. Thank you Dorothy, Darius and team!
Dorothy and Darius, Danny, Jonathan, and everyone who has taken care of our dog has been amazing. Dorothy takes care to let me know who will be taking care of Rosie, either picking her up from my home or being with her at the shop. They take care to send videos of the dogs playing or walking, they know when Rosie hasn’t felt well. They have helped me to get her better when she was very sick (including taking us to a vet who actually saved her life, no exaggeration!). They are lovely, caring people. Dorothy and Darius are completely trust worthy, kind, helpful. Most of all, my dog loves them and all the people who walk her, especially Danny and Jonathan. She goes crazy when she sees them, even if she happens upon them in the neighborhood. I recommend Dorothy’s Petcare without hesitation.
I cannot express my gratitude for Darius, Dorothy, and the entire team at Dorothy's Petcare! Odara was thriving when spending her time there, and we only stopped because we moved abroad. They are attentive, careful, and compassionate. Whenever we would walk to Central Park on weekends, Odara would try to squeeze under their door, even though they were closed, because she loved spending time there - and this is the best feedback we can get from dogs ^^ I highly recommend them to anyone and if I ever go back to NYC, they are surely my first and only choice.
Darius and Dorothy are absolutely fabulous. I had always had my dog stay with my parents when I went away so this was my first experience boarding her at overnight and my dog Pippa and I could not have had a better experience. Darius and Dorothy made the process so easy and are extremely responsive and thorough with getting all of my information and meeting with me and Pippa prior to her stay. They even let me bring Pippa's favorite faux fur blanket with her so she could sleep on it. They emailed me several times while I away, updating me with how Pippa was doing along with photos. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter - not just because they are so professional, but that they truly love dogs and are such caring and compassionate people.

After a couple of less than satisfactory experiences with dog care, I lucked into meeting Dorothy and Darius and they went on to help me with my dog for more than 9 years. I have an erratic work schedule and somehow they were always able to accomodate it. They were much more than dog walkers; they were a stable, loving part of Scout's life and real partners in his care, right up until the end. Five stars are not enough to explain how I feel about them and their team. Ten stars are more like it.
As a teacher who just moved to the Upper West Side over the summer with my new puppy, I was extremely anxious about going back to work this Fall. My little girl Lulu was so used to spending 24/7 with me and I worried about her transitioning to being walked and watched by strangers. I didn't feel comfortable with a lot of the nearby companies I observed who all seemed to have a dozen dogs at a time. Not Dorothy's Petcare. The minute I met Dorothy & Darius I could tell that they were no only top-notch professionals, but also truly love all of the animals in their care. I was very impressed with how carefully trained their walkers are and how knowledgable all of them are about not just dogs in general, but even bull dogs who require special attention. If you are a person who appreciates the details in service, then you should give this company a try. They matched me up with Stephen who Lulu adores. Every day Stephen shoots me a text to let me know all went well and when I return home from work, I can be sure that her water dish has been rinsed and refilled, her leash is put away, her sweater is neatly folded, a light is left on, and her kibble is topped off. Because I live near them, I also have the opportunity to observe many of the neighborhood dogs being walked. They never have more than two or three dogs, and they are given lots of attention and love. That was important for me to see because I know if I can't be the one to walk my doggie, then I want whomever does to actually care. In fact, because Lulu is a puppy, Stephen found that she was a lot to handle with other dogs. So, instead of just dealing with it and pulling her along, he made the decision to walk her alone. Obviously time is money for a business that gets paid by the half hour, but for Dorothy's Petcare, it wasn't about the money, it was about what was best for my pet. You have to admit, you aren't going to find that kind of service this day & age! I would never want anyone else to watch her, trust me, you'll feel the same way once you see how happy your dog is when she or he sees his or her walker on those days you call in sick : )
These guys are great! My dog is almost too excited when I'm leaving town, because it means she gets to stay with them for a little doggie vacation. They're very responsible and great with communication. I've used several different services in NYC but Dorothys Pet Care is by far the best I've seen. Highly recommend.
absolutely horrible, dishonest service. Very unprofessional. They call prospective employees in to “train” and then just have them do free labor without hiring. So not only do they screw working people over, but they’re having inexperienced people handle your pets. Don’t solicit this business if you care about working people or the well being of your pets! EDIT: it appears this business decided to responded dishonesty, quite consistent with my experience with them. Their apparent "head walker" was on his phone not paying attention the entire time I walked with them, so if that's their best to offer, quite indicative of their services! The notion that I "dropped the leash" while walking is a hilariously desperate lie, who does that? At least try to come up with something believable! A bunch of shady losers
I love taking our company dog here! He plays outside all day in our shop and get's really dirty, when he comes back from Dorothy's Petcare as clean and gorgeous as can be. The staff is extremely polite and friendly
