A beautiful home in a beautiful area. There are great places to hike nearby and the area is quiet an relaxing. Chicki and her husband are both very friendly and accommodating. They are well prepared for anyone who stays for a house sit. Piper, their pooch is so well behaved, she's a pleasure to be around! She loves going for walks and being around people. The cats are also friendly and enjoy being around people too. The horses are beautiful and all the feeding duties are laid out clearly and are easy to follow. I didn't have much experience with horses myself and Chicki was so kind to explain everything to me with patience and show me how to approach them and feel confident around them. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay in this wonderful piece of paradise and I would definitely recommend it!
I had an amazing time at Tasha’s with Percy - her flat is modern, spacious and clean. It’s really easy for getting around London as literally minutes from the DLR & the balcony and roof terrace were an added plus (especially as London showed a rare sight of sun most days!!) Tasha was friendly, welcoming and easy to communicate with, providing all necessary info upfront & checking in when needed. I also really appreciated the generosity so thank you for making me feel at home!! Now for my best pal Percy! He was a lovely boy who kept me company all day, very chatty (especially when he wants to be fed!!) and such a funny little character. It was a very sad goodbye! Thank you so much for having me and your hospitality, hope to be back again some day !! 💕
What a dream stay! Niamh and John's beautiful house is situated on a hill overlooking the sea. From almost every window you have the spectacular view of clear, blue ocean and the striking backdrop of Gibraltar in the distance (only a 35 min drive away). I felt instantly at home, walking through the door. Immediately welcomed by two wonderful black fur babies, Luca and Minnie. The friendliest dogs who love attention, cuddles and walks along the beach. (Minnie also LOVES food, she will always tell you when it's mealtime). They were soon joined by two smaller fur babies, Nikki and Kali. Equally fond of cuddles and will nuzzle you for more. I had the most peaceful two weeks here. Torreguadiaro is a calm and quiet town with a fantastic selection of restaurants. You're spoilt for choice! A highlight of my day would be walking the dogs on the beach, the sky growing pink. And sitting watching the sunset in the evenings, with all four pets surrounding me. Niamh and John are amazing, too. Niamh picked me up from where I was staying as I'd missed the bus, and John was kind enough to take me to the bus station on my journey home. They let me stay an extra night due to a late flight, and we chatted for hours - such a friendly and interesting couple! It was a pleasure to look after their home and furry family, I had the best two weeks!
Pippa is a lovely, friendly dog and I really enjoyed looking after her whilst Stella and David were away for 10 days. She loves to play with the ball and have a good run around. David and Stella left clear instructions and welcomed me into their home the night before they left so I could get used to everything. It was really easy to keep in touch whilst they were away too. Pippa does pull when on the lead but it was easy to put her in the car and go to the woods where I could let her off to run around freely. Thanks Stella and David!
Mitch was awesome! Very easy going and made me feel right at home. His cats are super cute and friendly. The stay was very pleasant and i would recommend :).
Alison’s home is very comfortable and set in a wonderful location with stunning views. I was invited for supper the evening before which gave us time to go over the requirements for the sit and meet the pets. Max, Daizy, Tom and Lily are great company, all with different personalities. There were numerous lanes to walk the dogs on their double lead plus a large field for them to romp and run. Tom enjoyed quiet time on my bed away from young Lily! An enjoyable house and pet sit.
