Mona and Theo are great! Theo was clearly a little bummed his mom was gone, but he warmed up to me quickly and we had a great time together. Mona was extremely communicative and I had no issues at all getting into the (beautiful!) apartment she has in Brooklyn! I would absolutely sit with her again.
Julie’s home is clean, clutter free and Julie is very close to Lady. She communicated often and was polite and friendly.
Sammy was the most loveliest cat we have ever cared for. Really great! The woods are so awesome super friendly and have a beautiful home.
Mimi is a wonderful person and host! We became fast friends and will remain so. She is very generous and caring. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on her picture perfect New Hampshire mini farm. Caring for the horses, chickens and cats was simple and took only about 15 min in the mornings and evenings. And gathering eggs and picking a small patch of asparagus was very rewarding. (Eating them was even better!) Louie and Stella are loveable Maine coon cats and we miss them. Being ex-farmers, Mike enjoyed mowing the property with the zero-turn mower and using Mimi's small tractor. (Using the tractor was not required). If you enjoy a peaceful serene farm setting with friendly neighbors and a comfortable home, this sit is for you. We highly recommend this sit. Thank you for having us, Mimi!
I recently had the pleasure of petsitting Spike, Larry, and Leo for two weeks. It was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, explore the city of Luxembourg, and work remotely from the comfort of the top floor of the house. Taking care of the dogs was an absolute joy. Each one had their own unique personality and quirks that made them so lovable. Spike, in particular, was a calming presence with his peaceful demeanour, while Larry was always up for a morning walk and kept me on my toes. Leo was a bit of a bossy pup but his playful energy and affectionate nature made him impossible not to love. The owners were very helpful and provided clear instructions on how to take care of the dogs. They were also very accommodating of my remote work needs, which made the experience even better. Overall, I would highly recommend this petsitting experience to anyone looking to explore Mersch and Luxembourg while getting to know some fantastic dogs.

Fuzzy Critters has been a life saver! Our dog Maple absolutely loves going there. She starts whimpering when she realizes we are getting close and then bounds out of the car to run into Jessica's yard, leaving me in the dust. She loves hanging out with all the other doggies and still being in a home environment with access to the outside. Highly recommend!
Jessica is an amazing person who really cares about the dogs who are staying with her. Our Pepper (pit/lab mix) had a great time with Jessica. I started taking my dog, Missy, here during the pandemic and she LOVES it. Whenever we get close to the house, Missy starts jumping and getting super excited and almost busts out of the car door! I love leaving her with Jess because they treat Missy like one of their own furry family members with cuddles and playtime - and that means a lot to me.

Marcia is amazing! She took care of our three cats at relatively short notice. She is very kind and treated our pets as though they were her own, working with individual feeding requirements and sending daily updates and pictures while we were away. We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

If you are looking for a walker or in-home sitting service, I'll assume that your fur family members are incredibly important to you and you want to make sure they are getting the best care possible. Shannon (owner) is very professional, thorough in interviewing dog(s) owner(s), getting detailed information on what the needs and desires are of owners and pets!!! All of her staff have been generous, patient, lovely people who treat us (humans and pets) with great care! A detailed report card is left at each visit outlining the activities our dogs performed, their affect, and notes on the overall visit. We have traveled and used C-PUP for home stays and also as a dog walking service. Our dogs have become so familiar with C-PUP staff that it's as if another family member is with them. C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.
The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. Danny walked our senior girl for her last year and he was very sweet with her. He's clearly very comfortable managing all sorts of dogs and combinations of dogs. It made me happy thinking her having a little social life with neighborhood doggies during the week. Danny was also extremely flexible and accommodating with my frequently changing schedule. When we get a new dog we will have Danny walk them too.

Danny's Pet Care is wonderful! Elise has taken superb care of my cat as I've traveled for short and long trips over the past few years. She gets plenty of love and has been able to socialize with many dogs which is helpful in her behavior training. Highly recommended service!
Chris and his team have been so wonderful! Chris is responsive, and works with my ever-changing schedule, and is great with my dog. I love that he uses the Pet Check technology - I get an email when they arrive, and again when they leave with a note about the walk, and sometimes a picture :) Paying invoices is smooth and easy. After using two other dog walkers, we've stuck with Chris for quite some time now and I highly recommend using him and his team.

I highly recommend Peticular Charm Pet Care to anyone who is looking for dog walking services in the DC area. Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. I really trust Peticular Charm to look after my dog and give him the walks he craves in the middle of the day.
Chris and his team of walkers are great. Mark has walked our dog for a number of months and we've been super happy (as has our puppy). Their use of the Pet Check system makes tracking and paying for service so easy and convenient. We have recommended them to several families already and will continue to do so.
I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! Chris is also a very well read, traveled, cultured musician with a fascinating life. My dogs are in interesting company - kinda jealous!
The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!
We met Chris while he was out walking one of his clients and enjoyed talking with him so much, we decided he would be our new dog walker. He is reliable and wonderful with our scaredy-pup. I've recommended him to our neighbors and friends, and we rest easy when we leave town knowing Chris is looking in on our pup.

I would HIGHLY recommend Bella to anyone!!! There are no words to describe how wonderful Bella is! I found Bella almost 2 years ago when I first got my dog, Roxy, and ever since she could not be more reliable. She is so great with her and treats her as if she is her own (and her kids love Roxy too!). I know for a fact that she is well taken care of while I am traveling and that makes me feel 1000x better; I don't need to worry about the love she is receiving while I'm away! Bella is always flexible and willing to care for her. Have appreciated Bella and will continuously use her for years to come!
CANNOT RECOMMEND BELLA ENOUGH! We have had Bella take care of our dog for the past 2 years when we go out of town. After a bad experience with a doggy day care center that felt impersonal and cold, Bella was a breath of fresh air. When our dog is with her, he really is a part of the family and I am able to relax while away because I know he’s in great hands. Our dog enjoys playing with her children and even going to work with Bella at the pet hospital. She is able to provide pick up and drop offs, lots of pictures every day as well as some grooming services. Bella is also very flexible and easy to contact. Our dog always returns exhausted and well cared for. Anyone should feel comfortable with their pet in her care. We cannot recommend her enough!
Bella has cared for our two dogs and diabetic cat for over a year now, and she is truly fantastic! She is flexible, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our fur-babies are happy and healthy. She has accommodated all sorts of issues for us, including last minute schedule changes and medication administration. Our dogs are usually nervous around people, but they always have a great time with Bella. She is also great about keeping us informed and sends plenty of photos after each visit. I cannot recommend her services highly enough - without Bella, we wouldn’t be able to travel nearly as much as we have lately! I am so comfortable with Bella caring for our animals. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!!
Bella is awesome! She’s been watching my dogs for over 3 years now and has always done an amazing job with them. She is very attentive, sends updates often, and offers pick-up and drop-off services. I know that anytime I leave my dogs with Bella and her family they will be well loved and well played with.
Bella did an amazing job taking care of our healthy cat and our sick cat while we were away. She administered medication as prescribed and provided daily updates to the worried pet parents. Bella was lovely to talk with and also took good care of our home. I highly recommend her!
Bella has been wonderful with my pups. In addition to taking great care of them, she keeps me well informed on how their doing by sending pics with every visit including fun selfies. They adore her and it’s very reassuring knowing they are safe while I’m away in travel.

I have been employing Fetch! for my pet care needs for well over a decade now, perhaps 15 years (it's been a long time!). Without exception, the sitter (Jenny) has always gone above and beyond to satisfy every need while I'm away from home, not only for my pets, but in ensuring my home is secure during and between visits and in collecting mail and informing me of anything else that requires my attention (water leaks, flooding, etc.). In addition, the sitter has been wonderful in administering medications properly when needed and in cleaning litter boxes, food dishes, and eating/waste areas as needed. The sitter has also made time on every visit to play with my cats, which I can tell from photos that they've really enjoyed! I greatly appreciate the photographs Jenny sends after each visit, but I have always had complete peace of mind when I'm away, due to the fantastic communication she provides. Lastly, the management and staff of Fetch! have provided excellent administrative support in adjusting scheduling changes to accommodate my schedule. In my opinion, the service provided by Fetch! is worth every penny!
Silver Spring Fetch is awesome! Their sitter Dawn became a part of our family. My cats love her!! I always felt better when I know that Dawn was watching over my fur babies and appreciate the great care that she gave them.
Fetch has been a godsend for us. You've looked after our cats for over a decade, and we are always able to enjoy our time away from them secure in the knowledge that they are being well taken care of. We have been using FETCH for several years (about 6-7?). I cannot recommend this company more highly. Originally, FETCH came to our house in Kensington. When we moved further out in the county, FETCH accommodated us even though we were not in their usual walking area. Lorena has been walking our pup ever since, at least 3 years. Our pup loves Lorena who is completely focused on her care the entire time she is with her. Lorena knows exactly what our dog needs and she has special games she plays with her. (Hiding treats around the room when she leaves!). I attached one of Lorena's daily pictures of our dog. FETCH also accommodates our crazy, inconsistent work schedules. Over the years, their service has improved with digital walk diaries, online client portals and better customer service. We do not provide people with the keys to our home lightly. FETCH is licensed and bonded and they really check out their walkers thoroughly. We would not trust anyone else to care for our pup, especially now that she is aging. FETCH is a premium service, but the service and sense of trust we get from knowing they can be there for our dog is well worth it
I am new to Fetch! but have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. Their online system makes scheduling visits, paying invoices, and receiving updates very easy and organized. Jenny, in particular, is such a pleasure to work with. She is professional, punctual, and thorough. Her post-visit updates with pictures and commentary provided much peace of mind while I was away. I have a blind, senior cat who is a little needier than the average cat, but I know he's in great hands with Jenny.
Absolutely love this service! Fetch is so reliable, I love that I’m always matched with the same sitter. Shout out to Connor. Connor comes to our home every time we’re out of town, our two cats love him, and, most importantly, I always feel safe having him in my home. Connor plays with my girls, takes pictures, and leaves a diary note in the app telling me about their day. I look forward to those updates when I’m abroad! I also have the peace of mind knowing that Connor is not an independent contractor, so if he’s ever sick or unavailable, Fetch will send a new sitter out to take care of my cats. All around 5 stars. They had never been away from us at all for any length of time before but they behaved themselves, the ladies kept us updated with photos of them on their walks and were very responsive to all enquiries. If we are in the area again and need this service we will be delighted to use Little Jodi's playhouse. Recommended.....
Little Jodie's PlayHouse is a gem of a local pet boarding and care business in the heart of the city. I am so grateful to the team who made sure my little French Bulldog Josephine received the care, attention, and comfort she needed while I was on extended travel. I will be using them again!

First time ever that I needed for someone to watch over my dog and I was in a dire situation and was not able to afford the options available at that time, fortunately I came across this amazing place that is affordable and very professional as they strive to keep your pets as comfortable as possible The staff is quite friendly and they keep you updated on how your doggie is doing sending you pictures of them, so you don't have to worry about anything they're in good hands.

I have to start by saying that my puppy really loved this place. I was so excited to have finally found a daycare home for him. Unfortunately, it was short lived. The first instance of difficulty we had was the employees didn’t know how to start my membership, so it was a real headache. I was wrongfully charged a couple times too. Then, my leash was given away to someone else and while that’s annoying, it’s a human error so we wanted to offer grace. my wife and I were super thankful because the fixed both issues!! They bought a new Kong leash AND harness to replace it, and we were given I think $150 credit to use for the errors in charges. I used the credit initially to see if we wanted to move forward with membership given everything, and unfortunately it still went a bit left. I drop my puppy off with food daily, and that day I sent lunch and dinner because we had a late work day. I picked him up after more than 11 hours there and they gave him NO FOOD the whole day. Gave his bag back to me full of his food. Even worse, Farmers dog is fresh food and it’s very expensive, so when I realized as I got settled that his lunchbox was still full of two portions of food, I was highly disappointed. My dog is a puppy, so food is super important right now for his development, especially in a high activity environment. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from this place because they really are sweet. But they lack certain routine structure that checks and balances where humans may cause errors. I won’t be a customer again because it was all too much for me, but I do hope the tighten those loose ends. We take our pup to DoozyDog now and it’s A M A Z I N G. Check em out if you want a more well rounded option! Atlas doghouse also doesn’t have a bath service like DoozyDog, so your dog will definitely come home smelling of urine and whatever else unless you bathe him yourself daily. Best of luck to atlas nonetheless.
Atlas just recently opened it's location at my building in Navy Yard and it is the best place EVER!!! To see all of the pups daily is a dream come true, it's impossible to not want to walk in and play with them constantly! They are the best addition to our community and I'm so happy to have them here with us!!
We LOVE bringing our dog here! She always has so much fun when she knows she will spend the day here. The staff absolutely adore our dog and she feels the same way. We joke that she likes the staff, especially the woman who greets her in the morning, more than us. They are great for boarding or daycare, because you know they will do a good job taking care of your pup!
I reached out to Atlas for their one on one training services. Prior to I had gone through a few trainers and I did not want to sign up for those super expensive one time training sessions with no guarantee. Thomas was a miracle worker honestly. Benny went from a sweet fluffy 15 pound puppy to a 60 pound 6 month terror! Was just unmanageable and overwhelming to deal with outside our home. In the house, he was the sweetest dog. We kept trying our previous trainer’s method and it was just not working to modify his behavior at all. I was pretty frustrated and super stressed taking him outside for walks. Everyone in the building was scared of him, it was just generally not a good time in our home lol. Thomas sat down and explained everything for the first 30min, and then we went on a walk. I can honestly say I watched my dog transform. It was such a weight off my shoulder, within an hour he was more manageable, well behaved, and calm. Then I would walk him and Thomas would give me pointers. Thomas made it VERY clear this was a one and done training session, not an on going saga of just handing over your money. He trained you and showed you the tools he uses. You are expected to do the work after that. He does offer follow up sessions if you are having specific problems. Which we did! He was great following up to see how things have progressed and when I had an issue he came right back, which I appreciated alot! I can honestly say Benny is a new dog and I feel much more in control and confident about handling him. Ive recommended Thomas to strangers on the street who have the same look I had when my dog was barking, lunging, pulling and not listening.
You can trust Atlas Doghouse with your pup and the guidance they give. I was on the brink of having to return my rescue and needed to board him until I could finalize the arrangements. A 30 minute conversation with the owner, Danny, and his counsel put me on the path to keep my new family member, Buddy. Since that day in 2018, Buddy and I have grown and learned together and Atlas is with us every step of the way.
We've been sending our dog to daycare, boarding or even using their dog walking services since she was 6 months old. She's 5 now for context. When I first called I said that she wasn't the best with strangers or other dogs and Danny said, "she's a puppy, I'm not worried at all." When I tell you that Atlas is her favorite place, I couldn't mean it more. From a treat every morning from Nicolle to the best belly runs from Stephanie every night. Our girl loves it at Atlas. She still hates most people and doesn't get along with other dogs at dog parks but Atlas is a place that I've always been able to trust with our reactive dog and I have absolutely no idea what we'd do without them. Rest easy sending your pups here, they really know how to make them happy and keep them safe at the same time.
I have used Atlas Doghouse for training, walking, boarding, and daycare. Ruby was a wild woman who wouldn’t listen to the training methods that worked on all my other dogs, so I sent her to Danny and now she is a very well behaved young lady. Prior to the pandemic, I used Atlas for walking. Ruby absolutely loved Marcus and all my neighbors would tell me what a good job he did with her. Ruby now lives for going to daycare! She actually gets depressed if I don’t send her enough. She is well taken care of even with all her food allergies so I never have to worry. Can’t say enough good things about this place and everyone who works there!
We have been using Atlas for over five years and there are not enough good words to describe the professionalism, experience, thoroughness, and overall friendliness we've experienced at their primary H St location as well as their new Capitol Hill location. Our dog loves each and every staff member and (sometimes frustratingly) is so well-behaved with all of them. Aside from the wonderful daycare and boarding experiences, Roxy will run up to their walkers on the street while we're on our own walks to greet them; they've alerted us a cut on her eye that we didn't see and helped treat it; they kept her separate and comfortable from other dogs when she suddenly got sick until we could return; they watched her with absolutely no notice for a week when we had to rush to the hospital for an early labor delivery; and these are just the extraordinary moments that stand out among the "routine" care we receive.
My eight-month-old Spinone had only ever done daycare in small settings via Rover, and Atlas was the first place where she’d ever gone to big girl daycare. The folks at Atlas were both patient with my neuroses (no, youuuuuu called them multiple times to inquire after your dog’s emotional well-being and the composition of her friend group) and accommodating to my little Birdie. She boarded for an evening a couple weeks later, and came home tuckered out and blissful. The staff clearly loves dogs and they keep a close eye on your pups! Her first day at daycare, Birdie approached a dog who wasn’t into her affections. They separated them, told me about it when I rang to check in, and appear to have been proactive at the first sign that the other dog wasn’t in the mood. The fact that they group dogs based on play style and energy levels rather than temperament is also a huge plus, as I have a gentle giant who prefers a small dog friend. The only drawbacks: No camera feed! I would also love it if they adopted a District Dogs-style approach of composing a report card with pictures. Neither of these things makes me want to take Birdie somewhere that isn’t Atlas, though— that’s saying something from this helicopter dog parent!
Update: I wanted to add info on their training services with Thomas. I needed help getting my dog to walk without trying to lunge towards every other dog on the sidewalk, and I met with Thomas. It was really remarkable how fast my dog responded to his methods! I previously was using methods from another trainer and they just weren't working, but Thomas does things differently. It's more of a holistic approach that makes a lot of sense intuitively, and I really think I'm well set up for success now. I completely recommend him and will be returning to him whenever I need more help with my energetic young pup! Atlas Doghouse is really helping my new rescue dog build her social skills! She went in for her evaluation for daycare, and they gave me a nice detailed update with pictures halfway through her day, and I got more helpful feedback when I picked her up. She was shy that first time, but bust out of her shell the next time, and the plan is to keep going every week so she can work on her socialization. My training can only do so much, so interacting with other dogs is filling in that missing piece. I have full confidence in the staff to watch over her and the other dogs, so I'm not worried about her while she's there. This is going to be a great boarding option now too since I know she enjoys going. I'm grateful for Atlas!
