My flight got cancelled and I couldn't get another one out for a few days so unfortunately I had to cancel Laura's sit, but I'm giving her 5 stars for a few reasons: -I met Laura over video chat and I felt very confident in her ability to care for a senior dog based on the details she made sure to cover. She asked how he likes to take his meds, his comfortability walking in the heat, stress levels, etc. It was clear that she has a lot of experience with older pups. -She was communicative and graciously flexible. On the day the sit was supposed to start, my flight was pushed back more than 6 times. We kept in close contact throughout and she was very understanding about the constantly changing plans and when I had to cancel. Great communicator, knows dogs, considerate, flexible, kind... I would love to have Laura sit in the future.

We recently had the pleasure of pet sitting two adorable cats at Leslie and Andy’s house, and it was truly an amazing experience! These sweet girls were incredibly friendly and full of personality, making our time with them delightful. Their playful antics and cuddles brought so much joy to our stay. The environment and the house where we stayed was calm and peaceful, creating the perfect atmosphere. Leslie and Andy were exceptionally kind and welcoming, treating us like family. I felt right at home throughout the entire stay. Overall, I highly recommend this pet sitting experience to anyone looking for a caring and enjoyable time. I can't wait for the opportunity to return and spend more time with these lovely girls!
Summer in Zug is great, a lovely place to be. I enjoyed my time with Dusty, she is a calm family dog who has a mind of her own. She consistently follows her nose on walks:-) The location of the accommodation is central and close to the lake and the facilities are of a high standard. The family is very nice, uncomplicated and caring. Lea cooked a delicious meal for me when I arrived. I was also able to use a bike on site, which was a great benefit for me. Alicia and her pups were perfect! I loved getting to cuddle up with Max, Bailey and Khaos out by the pool. Alicia’s home is cozy and very welcoming. I hope I get the chance to stay with them again. I miss my new dog friends already!
House and pet sitting for Edna was a pleasant experience. Suki is a sweet and beautiful cat and was great company. Edna's home is very clean, welcoming, well equipped and filled with interesting reading. The garden is lovely and provided cozy spots for curling up with a book and Suki by my side, quite happy to have belly rubs and purr the afternoons away. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, and amenities are just a 5 minute drive away. Edna was available by text or phone and promptly answered any questions. A highly recommended sit!
This was my very first sit on THS. I got very lucky with my hosts. They are wonderful people who were kind, gracious, and inviting. I got along with them well and they treated me like family. I adore them and respect them highly. They are all wonderful - especially Teddy. I bonded with Teddy during my sit. He was so easy-going and affectionate. I miss him already.
