We loved taking care of Alana’s sweet dogs Minka and Clyde. They loved to cuddle and go for walks they were both so happy. They were both very obedient and easy to care for. Alana’s house was great and had everything we needed. She was great with checking in with us. Would be happy to take care of them anytime!
Sitting for Charlie was a dream — he’s so easy-going, calm and adorable. He is very well-behaved in the apartment, good on the leash, and hardly ever barks. He is ultra relaxed, and will let you know when he needs some affection with a wet-snoot nudge. You do have to be vigilant when walking with Charlie — his hound instinct is drawn to pigeons and rodents (and street garbage!), and he lunges a bit toward some other dogs, but generally speaking he’s a delight. Natalie is very organized and had Charlie’s chicken and rice meals all prepared in the fridge, and her instructions are straightforward and thorough. And the spacious apartment is quiet and comfortable, in a nice neighborhood with everything you could possibly need nearby. I would sit for Charlie again in a New York minute!
Such a lovely house, in walking distance to such a great area - super central and very handy. Kerry and I had a lovely time chilling out with Maisie and Cadbury! I loved my time at Jane and John's home. They clearly explained the feeding schedule and other tasks for my stay. Charlie and Sammy were such sweet kitties to care for, Sammy was a little shy at first but over time became a lovebug. The home was lovely and very comfortable with a nice rural location that was close to an extensive trail system for walking and mountain biking. I loved watching all the birds in the yard. It was easy to get to town, and to other locations like Chimayo, Madrid, Ghost Ranch and Abiquiu as well as other trails in the area.
We had a wonderful time at Annaïk & Chefo’s home looking after their girls! Anna & Chefo were very welcoming, inviting us to stay the night before they left & hosting us for drinks & eats to ensure we were settled & able to meet the pets. They went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. The communication was excellent, and we had everything we needed to take care of their amazing pets. We fell in love with Vicky, Kiria and Katja as well as the cat Tela. Each has a different personality, which made it fun to get to know them. Vicky (also known as “Sticky Vicky”) loved to be close by and loved attention, especially on your lap. Kiria was a little rascal and so much fun, chasing the ball and playing with Vicky. Katja was our favourite, a bit shy but loving a cuddle on the couch. Tela took a few days to get used to us, but eventually we were able to pet her. They were all so easy to take care of. We miss them all very much! We took the dogs for walks along the beach promenade and to the Roman baths & also enjoyed exploring the area visiting Ronda, Gibraltar and Casares (all of which are worth a trip). Annaïk & Chefo’s home is comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed relaxing on the decks in the evening. They gave great restaurant recommendations for when we wanted to dine out & I can’t think of anything that would have made the stay better, and we would love to come back given the opportunity. Highly recommended!
