Lauren and David did an excellent job sitting my kittens over the weekend! They made sure to send lots of pictures and checked in with updates every day just like I asked. When I came home the kittens were well-fed and cared for, and everything was even better than I left it. Excellent houseguests and excellent sitters!
We had a lovely time looking after the two dogs in Parcent. They are adorable dogs and easy to look after. The house was great especially the pool as it was extrememly hot when we were there.
It was an absolute pleasure to house sit for Louise and Owen. They are lovely, warm people and full of lots of interesting stories about their adventures. Their house is a little slice of paradise tucked away in a rural spot but still close to local amenities. And to top it off Sid and Molly stole our hearts! They are super well behaved but cheeky too, and both love their cuddles. I would not hesitate to recommend to others and hopefully we get to return ourselves one day.
Liz & Kamm were welcoming and thorough instructions. Liz even left us amazing shortbread. We barely ever saw Raven and Cauda was a cute fluffy kitty. They were laid back and easy to work with. Highly recommend this sit!
Jude was a great host and I had a brilliant time looking after Oreo
I had a lovely time staying at Crispin and Liz's. They were really kind and welcoming and there was great communication before and during the week I was there. The house is spacious, comfortable and in a central location. Supermarket, bus stop and underground are all a 10 - 15 minute walk away. Pumpkin is gorgeous and easy to look after. She is quite independent but curled up next to me in the evenings for a stroke. Her meows when she wanted to go out or be fed were so sweet, I'll miss her! Would definitely recommend this sit.
Tre and Angel are snuggly cats who are easy to love and care for. They roam outside freely for neighborhood adventures and come/stay in for affection and naps. Besides feeding time and playtime, their habits are pretty independent of each other. I very much miss my daily snuggs and cuddles with Tre and Angel (though we three never had snuggs altogether). Lucy and John are kind and welcoming and communicative, and their home is beautiful. It's well appointed and clean with outlets everywhere. The minimalist theme is deceiving. You notice something new and interesting every day among the wall art and other accents. Although I was warned, I was not prepared for the intensity of Tre's food drive -- it's not just for cheese! Boundaries are dynamic with Tre and he tested my food boundaries hard from the get go. As long as you continually hold firm and reinforce that your food is not his food, he'll be deterred by that much (and only that much). I got the hang of it with some coaching. Purrhaps I seemed like an easy mark at first, but I do like to eat my food even more than Tre would like to eat my food :) Angel is just an absolute floofy sweetheart. It was always the highlight of my day for her to come around and hang out with me. During my sit dates, the flowers in the front and the back yards were in full bloom. Lucy's garden is gorgeous (and fully on irrigation). April is also when the seasonal rain dwindles which means home improvement projects ramp up around the neighborhood, so you'll usually hear something going on whether weekday or weekend.
