Sue and her husband were an absolute delight to have to sit for us. They were incredibly friendly, trustworthy and reliable. Nothing was too much trouble for them and our three dogs were completely smitten with them. We wouldn’t hesitate to have them back to sit for us or to recommend them to anyone. They were just great!
We were so excited to have secured the sit after meeting Gino and Alex online - we clicked right away and spent most of the call laughing and trading travelling stories. We arrived to their beautiful place in the afternoon and it was like visiting friends.... and then we got to meet the pups.... gentle giant Lina with the sweetest eyes and twirly Maisie with the best energy, we fell in love!! They are 2 of the sweetest and most relaxed dogs we've ever encountered! We were spoiled on our first night with homemade paella for dinner after they took us on a couple of the dog's favourite walks through beautiful olive groves. Alex and Gino gave us the lowdown on all things Lina and Maisie and it was all very straightforward. The pups were an absolute pleasure to look after and we miss them dearly - walking them twice daily in the different trails was the highlight of our day, and the girls looooved them as well! One of the nice things is that they have trackers for the walks and Gino and Alex told us not to worry about them on the walks as they know exactly where they are at all times and where the house is... and it's true! The house is lovely with everything you need, the bed is super comfortable and the top deck is the perfect place to watch the sunset. We absolutely loved all aspects of this sit and couldn't recommend it enough.... we absolutely cannot wait to come back.... we have certainly become friends!
It was a pleasure to housesit for Allan and Gail in their beautiful home. Their delightful golden retriever, Rosie was the star of the housesit. She was super easy to care for and loved to be with us, whether we were outside on the beautiful grounds, by the pool, or just sitting beside us as we relaxed in the house. She was always up for a catch with the ball or frisbee, a belly rub or just a good pat. It was clear that Rosie is a well loved dog. We were able to meet Allan and Gail the day before our housesit began and were given a great introduction to their home and instructions for Rosie's care. Communication was excellent both before and during the housesit. This was a lovely peaceful housesit. Thank you, Allan and Gail for sharing Rosie and your home with us.
I had a fabulous time in Walnut Creek with Colin, he is such a sweet dog! Alix is a great host, she really made sure I got all the info needed for success and enjoyment, and even showed me some great trails to check out in the neighborhood. The house is absolutely gorgeous, and I felt extremely comfortable there. Really Colin is so easy! He was really fun to go on walks with and loved to cuddle on the couch. It was a very ideal housesitting, I have nothing but great things to say!
Karin was a wonderful host and made her home feel so comfortable. Her dogs, JoJo & Molly, were so sweet. They love to play and fetch never gets old. I hadn't thrown a Frisbee in a long time & JoJo got me back in practice! Karin's home and guest room are so warm & inviting. I was spoiled by the skylight and windows on sunny days. I was lucky enough to meet Karin's dad and some visiting family, so it felt like I was a part of them. I would highly recommend Karin to anyone in or wanting to visit Washington. Thanks for a positive experience!
Uni and Coco are so sweet, adorable, and well behaved! Sheena gives you all the details needed to keep these senior girls comfy and cozy and she's always available for questions! Her condo is in a fantastic location and has everything you need. I miss those sweet pup faces and would definitely sit for her again! Highly recommend!
Sitting for Finn was such a delight! He is the sweetest, friendliest, most lovable, well behaved and low maintenance dog ever. He was affectionate and loved to cuddle which we loved as well! His care/routine were straightforward and coordinating with Parsa and Joe was very easy. They were helpful and responsive, easygoing, and communicated with us well which made everything go smoothly! And their welcome guide had everything we needed to know about Finn, the house and the surrounding area :) Their home is beyond beautiful, perfectly located in a safe, friendly, and very walkable neighborhood near shops, restaurants, etc. It’s easy to access via public transportation, and had everything we could possibly need for a great stay in DC. Staying at their home was a lovely way to spend our Memorial Day weekend and it was one of our favorite sits we’ve ever done. We would stay again in a heartbeat and hope to get the opportunity to again in the future. We miss Finn already !
