An amazing place I’m so grateful to have spent some time in. Pat and Avery were so welcoming from the beginning, and made me feel right at home. Very kind and interesting people. Our communication was easy and they were flexible with planning. Their house is so cool, very comfortable and peaceful, with an absolutely dream view and location. The cats are funny - Moki is more playful and Molly is more shy. They took a little time to warm up, as most cats do, but are very sweet and I really came to love them. Malibu is such a special place. Anyone would be lucky to get some time here. Would absolutely come back any time I can. Thank you so much Pat and Avery for your hospitality!
It's hard to add anything to the dozens of positive reviews. The communication was unproblematic, Katie and Arian were always quick to answer my questions during the sit and helped me out with any question. The house and garden has all the amenities you can think of and more. The area is quiet and great for hiking, mountain biking, or other outdoor activities. All the dogs are well behaved, only Luna is a little bit wild sometimes, but not in a bad way. They can easily be walked starting from the backdoor which is quite convenient. The cats keep mostly to themselves and sleep during the day. And the chicken are also easy to care for.
I rellay enjoyed my time with their cats at Slane. Paul & Siobhan were so welcoming to me. They made me feel so at home there, my room was fantastic , quite & very comfortable. I was very sorry I could not do another sit they asked me to do. Siobhan even managed to get me a ticket to see the Pope in Dublin, which I will forever be indebted to her for. That's the type of people they are, just so thoughtful. I know we will keep in touch. They had their House Folder done, that was very easy to follow, even the alarm system. Their home is in a very quite country area, where lots of walking can be done. There is lots to see around the area as well. I can highly recommend them to anyone wanting House Sit there. Thank you so much Siobhan & Paul for accepting me to look after your 2 fur babies !! Loved my time there.
An all-time favorite stay. Kim has a gorgeous home in a lovely, very walkable Sacramento neighborhood. She made the process super easy, and all our communications were delightful. Barkley is an absolute sweetheart, a dream puppy! He is a kind and fun companion. We took daily walks along the American River, which is blocks away from the house. And both stayed cool through the summer heat with swims in the gorgeous saltwater pool. I highly recommend this stay!
We really enjoyed our time looking after Olive & Birch! Although there were a few hiccups at the beginning regarding communication, it all worked out wonderfully and Tess was extremely hospitable and communicative while she was away. Olive & Birch are both total love bugs. Olive is still a baby and needed lots and lots of playtime, but he was also really snuggly and loving. Birch warmed up to us right away and would spend many hours curled up with one of us. Tess' flat is a great size for a single person, but we were still both comfortable during our five weeks there. There was a bit of noise both outside and within the apartment building, but as it was the Christmas season, I think a lot of it could be related back to that. The neighborhood itself was great, with the metro, grocery stores, so many restaurants, and an amazing park all within a few minutes walk. We already miss both kitties so much and would gladly return to look after them in the future.
Had an amazing time sitting for Jen & Ben looking after Buddy! Buddy is a dream to look after. Easily pleased, he loves a daily walk and is otherwise happy just to spend time with you and follow you around the house all day. The house is in a truly unbeatable location with plenty to explore in Brighton and vibrant neighbouring suburbs of Elsternwick and Balaclava. You are about a 5 minute walk to a dog park and a 15 minute walk to the Elwood foreshore. The house itself is stunning, beautifully designed and decorated with loads of natural light in the living spaces. Jen & Ben were excellent hosts. They were informative, supportive and available but also laid back and trusting. They were also very accomodating with my schedule having just returned from an overseas trip a day prior to the sit start date. We kept in touch for the duration of the sit and they were super helpful throughout. Thank you Jen, Ben & Buddy!
