My stay in Edinburgh was really lovely, and Cheryl, Steve and Charlotte could not have been more welcoming, generous and sweet! They have a beautiful, artistically appointed house just a short bus trip from the town center (buy a £4 ticket and you can go in, out and around of the city) as well as having everything you could need just round the corner! Love of their animals was in evidence with easy, detailed instructions to follow, allowing a sitter a worry free experience. Robbie the dog will take anyone for a walk, Pippa, the cat was adorable, and fish and chickens were a breeze! I would have no hesitation in recommending this sit...and anyone would be lucky to stay!
Meatball and Poppy are big characters! Poppy was very affectionate, on her terms, quickly, while Meatball was confident to let me know what he needed, but slower to be fully friendly. They were lovely and easy to look after! Norie and Randy were exceptionally welcoming and hospitable, including taking me around the neighbourhood, treating me to a meal in the delicious local sushi restaurant, introducing me to friends within the community and providing starting groceries. The area is very friendly, with great cafes and walks and a very well stocked supermarket all directly outside the building! Definitely an enjoyable sit!
Amazing house sit! Not only are Bess and Scout beautiful and well natured dogs, but Tony and Kate are lovely people who completely trusted us with their home. Bess and Scout have an outdoor area that they can access at all times meaning you can explore the beautiful peninsula area knowing that they can roam around whenever they need to. They are great on the lead with lots of surrounding trails to explore, and during chill time all they want is cuddles and tummy rubs! Tony and Kate’s house is fantastic, it had everything we needed and was in a lovely location close to wineries and within walking distance to many restaurants.
Super comfy cottage with a woodburning stove on a quiet country road in beautiful rolling countryside. Everything in the house is convenient and works as it should. Annie and Dave are lovely caring creative and generous people. The dogs are friendly fun and full of love. Cats are fluffball prima-donnas as cats are supposed to be. The pigs are pigs, and the donkeys and goats sweet and friendly. Don't have much to say about the fish.
Fangora is a really easy cat to take care. She loves rubs and long massages. She is not needy and will let you know when she wants something with a big meow. The neighborhood is beautiful, and the view from Shayla's apartment is great.
Had a lovely stay at Emily's in Marsden. Me and Ozzy bonded quickly and I loved looking after him. I was working from home so we kept each other company. He's got such a great personality and is quite vocal sometimes. He's chilled and equally happy indoors as he is out (couple of days rain meant more in than out 😆) Beautiful relaxing house, ample garden space if you're lucky with the weather. Everything you need in the kitchen etc The spare bed was so comfy. Thanks again for a great stay! Joanna 😃
