We absolutely loved housesitting for Hobie! He is a happy and playful dog that loves to be outside! Janice and Mark made us feel very welcome in their home. We stayed over the night before so we could go over the routines and that made all the expectations clear. Santa Cruz has so much to offer we did not have time to see it All. Hopefully we can sit for them again, since it was a wonderful experience.
The highlight of my trip to USA. I honestly probably would have not come to SLC if not for this sit.. I am SO glad I did. Ashley's home is beautiful and well located! Her home gave me so many ideas for my own place back home (I already stole the Wifi password ;P). Instructions were very clear and in a binder for reference, so I never felt anxious about not doing something correctly. Salt Lake City and Utah are next - level - stunning! Beautiful mountain ranges, the softest snow in the world. The best people, the coolest activities, It was bliss. And most importantly, Hank Aaron. He is cuddly, fun, playful.. The perfect companion. Thank you again for trusting me with your home and with Hank! :) I highly recommend this sit.
We had a great time housesitting for Sally. Her home and the area are lovely to spend time in especially if you're partial to a stroll - Bushy Park is right on your doorstep, Thames path nearby and Teddington is a great place to potter around. Morris the cat is a distinguished older gentleman who is happy doing his own thing but is very loving when he keeps you company of an evening! Thanks for a great stay.
Cathy and Jef are really nice and really cool people! It was a privilege to housesit for them, and their dogs. Couldn’t recommend them enough! 
I loved sitting for Grace! She was quite wary of me to start, happily having a sniff but taking a few steps back each time I went to stroke her. I persevered, didn't rush her, and after 24 hours I had won her trust enough to be giving her proper chin rubs, head scratches and 2-handed strokes. She was SUCH a monkey while I was there(!) and tried to testing the boundaries but Louise had given clear instructions about what was and wasn't allowed. The flat is really central and has everything you need - including a concierge which came in useful! Louise was easy to communicate with throughout and I would be delighted to stay again.
Edna is very kind lady and was easy to communicate with, as we negotiated changes in the arrangements because she came home earlier than planned. The two cats were affectionate and both liked sitting on my lap - a bit of competition sometimes! Edna's cottage is on the coastal path in a lovely and quiet part of Anglesey with a nice garden with orchard and patio, where you can sit out surrounded by beautiful countryside. Part of the job was feeding the birds and the hedgehog! A really great place to stay and I had a very enjoyable time. I'd say you need a car if staying here, if only to do shopping, but you could spend your time going for walks straight from the cottage.
