I wish there were more stars than five stars because Jill and Bernie are 10 star kind of zeewoi! This is their second stay at our house and the care that they give our dogs and our house is above and beyond the call of duty. We enjoy them so much as people and look forward to their visits. Every day we get funny. wonderful updates on the dogs and all of their outings. Jill and Bernie love to take the dogs to different places to walk and hike. The pictures and updates are so appreciated. Then, we return home to a perfectly clean house and dogs that pout for days after they leave! You absolutely cannot find pet sitters that are better than Jill and Bernie! They are simply the best. We hope that they will be back soon.
We had a last-minute panic when it transpired that our confirmed sitter did not renew her zeewoi membership two months ago, and TH did not inform me. I only realized this when I wanted to send her the Welcome Guide, and her profile showed as no longer active. With only a week to go before our trip, we quickly had to find a new sitter or cancel our trip! Thank goodness for Leon and Lucinda. I reached out to them as they had saved my profile, and they live nearby. Their acceptance of the sit came through superfast, and thanks to them, our holiday could go ahead! In the end, I think things worked out for the best, as they were amazing sitters. Even our normally shy girl, Kula, took to them immediately. I loved seeing daily photos of some, or all, of our tribe of 4, totally relaxed and happy - polishing off their food, sitting on laps and enjoying lots of attention. They stayed in touch, and took good care of our home and cats. We arrived back to a spotless home, even the guest room bedding was already washed and dried. We only got to meet Leon, as Lucinda joined him after we had left - I look forward to meeting her next time. I'm so glad things worked out the way they did, and even more glad that they've agreed to do more sits for our feline tribe in the future!
