My stay in Edmonds was very nice. I didn't have Wally as he traveled with his family but I enjoyed the chickens! Maggie had the feeder and water full for the weekend, but I still checked on the "girls" a few times each day. The chickens were curious but didn't seem to be frightened when I came out to see them - one of the chicks in particular would come up to the fence to get a closer look at me. Maggie and her family made me feel welcome in their beautiful home and gardens. I'd love to stay in Edmonds again!
I had a lovely stay here and Ted was very loving and self sufficiant !! What a beautiful area with walks and canals of stunning beauty! I had friends for lunch in the gorgeous garden and enjoyed watering the many plants! A bit of a climb to the attic bedroom and traffic noise quite bad if you are not a fan !! But over all a great sit !
I enjoyed spending time with Lusa, Nalu, and Koa. They are very sweet pets! Nothing better than hanging out on the deck with Lusa and a beautiful view of the mountains. I enjoyed meeting Maile and appreciate her hospitality. I will miss watching the sun coming up over the mountains as I drank my morning coffee!
It was a real pleasure to look after Lysette & Richard's home but, let's be honest, Dixie was the star of the show. Dixie is such a sweetheart of a dog that she might actually rate as one of the easiest and sweetest dogs I've looked after (tbh haven't come across a grumpy dog yet but you get the picture :-). Dixie lives in a lovely home, close to lots of shops and restaurants and of course the huge park around Alexandra Palace. Lysette & Richard were warm, welcoming people and made me feel right at home before they left. All in all, a lovely 'sit'.
I had a lovely time looking after Eskel, Shani and Milva. Eskel, who was the shyest to start off with, ended up being the most affectionate and rules the roost. Milva the lovely little lady is very easy going, watching on from her favourite cardboard box quietly as her siblings play, and Shani loves watching flys and climbing up on window sills, book shelves and wardrobes. Maggie was lovely and welcoming and an easy communicator. The house was very comfortable and has everything you need. It’s also in a great location, easy connection to the city right next door and an easy walk to the supermarket. I highly recommend a housesit with Maggie and her furry crew.
Victoria and Andrew have a beautiful house with excellent guest accommodation, comprising of a super comfy bed in a modern en-suite area of the house. The garden is beautiful with exceptionally comfortable sun loungers and little Amber is delightful, once you have earned her trust. We'd love to 'sit' for Victoria and Andrew again, just as soon ask our diaries co-ordinate. Thank you for the opertunity XXX
