Misha left the house exactly like we left it. Our dog seemed happy and tired. Overall a great experience.

Daniel was so great. He was very communicative and left our house clean and tidy. Even though his stay was short, it was clear that our dogs and cats warmed up quickly to him, and will miss him. He’s a great sitter and respected our home 😊.

Ashley is an amazing house and pet sitter! We were blown away by how caring and thoughtful she was in her care of our house and our pup! We would love to host her again anytime! She even left our place vlcleaner than we had left it. Thank you Ashley!

Melody and Bill were great pet & house sitters. They took the time to arrive early and do a walk through to learn about the house and animals (a cat, two goats and five chickens). They asked good questions and were easy to communicate with. The house was left very clean and the animals all well cared for. We'd welcome them back and recommend them to others pet owners.

Krista was a phenomenal sitter! She sent daily photo/video updates, and took great care of Bandit. Our house was spotless when we returned. The towels/sheets were washed and the bed freshly made (what a treat after a long flight home). I HIGHLY recommend Krista. PS Bandit is very shy and usually takes a day or two before he warms up to people--within an hour of her arrival, we received videos of Bandit snuggly with Krista on the couch; what a testament to the kind of person she is.

Laurie cat sat for me while I was out of the country for a week. We chatted a bit by phone ahead of the sit to work out the details and then I had the pleasure of meeting her in person when she arrived. My outgoing cat Buddy took to her immediately, and my shy girl Cheryl came around a few moments later (much faster than usual when meeting a new person). My cats felt at ease with her right away, which was very reassuring for me. Laurie sent me photos regularly and kept the home clean and kitties happy. Couldn’t have gone any better. Thank you Laurie for your care and calm nature!

Patricia did a great job. We felt very much at ease leaving Frances in her care, and she kept the house clean and tidy.

I cannot say enough great things about Bill and Tammy! They house sat for my dog Bailey for nearly two months while I was away in Europe. I could not have asked for better care for her! They gave Bailey all the love and attention that an elderly dog needs, and sent me regular updates, adorable photos, and videos of her which helped ease my mind while I was away. They also went above and beyond by repairing the damage that Bailey caused when she knocked the doggie gate out of the wall. When I returned home, everything was clean and in perfect order, which was such a relief after being away for so long. I highly recommend Bill and Tammy for anyone looking for reliable and caring housesitters. They truly treated Bailey as if she were their own and I am so grateful for the excellent care they provided!

I have not been looking forward to writing this review for Irene and Henry. Because I was not looking forward to be reminded of the turmoil we went through while they were sitting house for us. Irene and Henry had signed up to stay in our home and with our dogs for 9,5 weeks. They knew it was winter in Germany, one of the first things we asked them, if they knew how dark and gray it is and that it can be cold. They had no problem with that. 2 weeks into the sit they said they could not walk our dogs twice a day any more, only once - since they were too tired. They asked for help with the second walk, which we then organized from abroad. Also after two weeks they said, they would have to cut the sit short and would be leaving our home 4,5 weeks early. We should start looking for a replacement. This came as such a shock to us, that at first we refused a replacement. With time and the loving support of the zeewoi staff we started looking for a replacement. Of course there was no one there on such short notice. The hours we spent dealing with finding someone new - this is nothing anyone should have to go through. In the end a friend took our dogs when Irene and Henry left our house and their sit early. Irene and Henry sent us pictures and comments about our dogs regularly. Our house was as clean as when we left it. The plants were well. We were contemplating leaving the zeewoi Community after this painful experience. Our trust was shaken. But, we decided to stay and remember the first two perfect experiences we had with our other sitters, whom we still are in touch with and feel loving and close with.
