This Potters Bar sit was lovely in evry way! The hosts, Sasha and Vincent, were responsive to questions both before and during the sit. The cats were so fun to care for. Kiki is slightly timid, with such soft fur, likes to be brushed, and is a great hunter. Cassie is just a pretty girl who loves pats and scratches and being where you are. Both cats will take a bit of time to warm to you. The house, on a very quiet street, was as spectacular in person as it shows in the photos, with an incredible garden. We easily walked to shops and restaurants, and to explore the area, with lots of local buses as well as trains to London. We thank you so much for a lovely sit, and recommend you highly as a host!
This was our first house sit since joining Trusted House sitters and Richard & Mary have made it an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Before our house sit we first met Richard & Mary in Northumberland for a walk with Kelpie along Embleton beach followed by a nice lunch. Richard & Mary are a wonderful couple who could not of been nicer. We traveled to Richard's & Mary"s the night before our house sit. We were made to feel very welcome in their beautiful home. Mary made us dinner followed by a lovely crumble made with fresh fruit that Richard had picked earlier. They gave us a well detailed welcome pack full of very useful information regarding the wellbeing of Kelpie as well as local walks. We felt very relaxed & comfortable in the house which was very clean & tidy. The house is in a fabulous area with outstanding views of the North East coastline. Kelpie was an absolute pleasure to take care of during our house sit she is extremely friendly and well trained. We had many Wonderful walks along the beautiful Coldingham beach as well as other beautiful near by beaches. We would not hesitate to house sit for Richard, Mary & Kelpie in the future. We had a wonderful experience house sitting for Richard & Mary and would highly recommend anyone giving the opportunity to so in the future. Thank you Richard & Mary for making this experience a special one.
Haddie is an adorable dog and he is very well behaved and affectionate. An absolute joy x The comfiest bed ever you will sleep like a log in the peaceful village. If you are lucky enough to look after Haddie then do take supplies as it’s remote so go prepared. A lovely experience thank you x
The cats are very lovely and friendly. They are very playful and we had a lot of fun with them. I stayed with my wife for 2 weeks over Christmas and we had a great time. The flat is also nice and in a good location. Thank you!
I had a fabulous time looking after Missy. She is sweet and very affectionate; and loves belly rubs! Cressida is a great host and her home is lovely - very bright and really comfortable . Cressida allowed enough time to meet me in person and discuss everything in detail. She was very organised and great at communicating throughout. I highly recommend this pet sit and would most definitely look after Missy again.
